I have very dry curly hair and find this line of products to be the best for people with hard to manage hair. I've used the deep conditioning treatment, the sheen spray and the conditioner. I've been using this for several years and I love it.I just ran across it in the store one day & gave it a try.My hair is very dry & hard to do anything with.Using this makes my hair really soft and tames it down.

Don't think this is just for African-Americans either just because you will find it in the African-American hair care isle because i've had great results with not only this but also the shampoo & conditioner.

This shampoo was the best invention from Vidal Sassoon! The texture of it and the smell is great! I hope they NEVER CHANGE IT!! So glad I found it! It works the absolute best in my hair. I bought this at Target a month ago and this thing has been magical! I have oily hair(scalp) and was warned at the hair salon that I should never use conditioner again. My hair used to look heavy and greasy and sometimes, parts of the hair stick together to form disgusting bundles of hair. However, I have been using this shampoo and the conditioner of the same series and they made my hair very light and soft and shiny. And I can get away at school even when I didn't wash my hair for a day, which in the past would turn me into Medusa or Snape. This product definitely "boosts and lifts" your hair so I highly recommend it.

I have the green and black Paul Mitchell flat iron which I bought from my hair salon about 3 years ago and it still works great. I wanted to buy a new flat iron just in case my old one breaks and I first bought an FHI limited edition. I returned it because it changed the texture of my hair in a very strange way regardless of which temperature setting I used and it took a long time to straighten my hair with it. I was very dissatisfied with it. So, I decided to buy another Paul Mitchell iron and I chose this one. This iron is just great. It straightens without damaging hair and I use it at the highest setting. It leaves your hair shiny and smooth. It takes me about ten minutes if I first wash my hair and lightly blow dry. In between washings,I use it to style my hair in just a couple of minutes. (I have shoulder length, medium thick, frizzy hair.) This is an excellent flat iron and I plan to stick with the Paul Mitchell stylers.

I am new to flat ironing and purchased this flat iron at the suggestion of my stylist-it is the one she uses and I have been happy with the results when she does my hair except for one time when I think she needed to clean the residue off her plates. When I first got the product I took it to the salon and had my stylist do my hair so my inexperience would not be a factor if I was not happy with the results. I am glad I did becuase it pulled my hair to the point where it looked kind of static-y, and she was pulling hair off the plates about every 4-5 swipes toward the end. When I asked she said hers did the same thing when it was new. I am admittedly a novice with this type of styling but that seemed odd to me. I went to a store that sells different types of flat irons and ran some of them over my hair (they weren't plugged in) just to see the difference-only this one and one really cheap one pulled. I deduced it was the silicone strips because none of the other irons had those, including the 1.25 Paul Mitchell iron, which I also tried. The other things most people look for in a flat iron are met by this product: it heats up in 60 seconds, it is easy to grip, cools off quickly, 1-2 glides to get the hair really straight, and the result is soft with a nice shine. However, it seems to me that prolonged use with that kind of pulling is damaging and a new product should not do that. It is too bad, otherwise this is a great iron and would have received a 5 star rating from me.

This product works well to straighten my hair but has two important flaws. One is that it does not have an auto off. I have had others that did not either but they had a very visible light showing it is on. This one will not sit on the counter to make the on light visible.

The other problem is the flashing lights that stay on when ever the styler is plugged in. It uses lots of electricity but is a hassle to unplug after each use.

I've been using a Rusk dryer for several years now and I'm afraid that it is about to go, which is why I ordered the CTC Lite. What a great dryer it is! Plenty of power with 3 heat settings, 3 speeds and a cool shot. Today was my first time using it and it is way lighter than the previous Rusk with a tad more power. The nozzle is a bit more narrow which is perfect for concentrating the direction of the flow. Love it!

this dryer is perfect to me. i owned more than 3 hair dryers but i am not satisfy with all of that and make me keep spending money to get a better one. after i bought this and use it. i throw all the previous hair dryers i have.

cons:

1. light weight

2. powerfull and dry my hair in about 5-8mins ( i had a long hair over my shoulder blades.)

3. have 3 types of temperature, warm. cool ans hot. and i am using cool to dry my hair cause my hair is too dry and curl.

4. the price is reasonable for me. cause i have spend over a hundred for my previous one and which is junk.

pros: a bit noisy but is ok.

Hands down, the best hair dryer I have ever owned. Lightweight and quiet. Dries naturally curly, thick, unruly hair and leaves it smooth an manageable. (I have shoulder length, thick, naturally curly hair and use a wide round brush to blow it smooth.) No need for flat iron if you use this dryer and some smoothing serum. Excellent value for the money. I have previously owned Babyliss brand dryers and neither of them performed as well as the Rusk, and both died within 6-8 months of purchase. Get yourself a Rusk and love your hair again!!

The hair dryer is impressive it's lightweight, fast, and reasonably quiet. I don't have to use a straightener. However, I am disappointed that the product description is inaccurate. The hair dryer doesn't come with a concentrator. I called the manufacturer, and they said you have to order the CTC 7500 2000 watt model to get the concentrator. Even without the concentrator, it's better than my old hair dryer.

This Wigo dryer is great, in that it is a combination Tourmaline and ceramic, which is hard to find. Hair dries quick and with less frizz.
