Almost perfect. This hair dryer is the best.

The only minor things I would change is the annoying 3-position temperature slide bar that has the off position in the middle, the low position on top, and the high position on the bottom. It just seems the off position would be better placed at either the top or bottom of the slide bar. Everytime one wants to change the position from low to high heat output or vice versa, the off position is ill-placed right in the middle of the slide bar. Annoying but workable.

The latter item would be that while the cord is definitely long enough, there is warning not to pass pulling the cord out beyond a colored stripe. It would be helpful to have a pre-warning stripe since the only way to find out where the warning stripe is located is to pull the cord out too far. Oops! So, once a person discovers the maximum length that the cord should be pulled out to by pulling it out too far, it's too late. However, despite the warning, it didn't hurt the product to do this at least not the one time it happened.

The wonderful features to fold this product for easy portability, the retractable cord, and its excellent drying ability, all far outweigh the two mentioned minor annoyances.

I have owned this dryer for about two years now and I have no complaints. It has a good feel in hand while you are using it. The weight is well balanced and the dryer is compact, but not too small. The buttons feel solid and work as they should (even though some people complain about the orientation of the on/off). I especially like that the cord is long enough to have freedom of movement, but still retracts into the handle for easy storage. I have traveled with this dryer and it holds up to frequent trips. I do not think that this dryer is especially noisy compared to other dryers I have owned in the past. As for drying speed, I have long thick hair and it manages to dry my hair in no time. If I need a second dryer or if this one dies (as all eventually do...) I will buy another Revlon RVDR5012.

I go through hair dryers like crazy...I'm always trying to find one that isn't loud, or dries faster, or has a longer cord. I've definitely found the right one at last. This dryer is surprisingly light, and I love the retractable cord on it. It only has one switch with hot/off/low, which is easy to maneuver and doesn't stick. It has a cold shot button, also. I think this dryer dries my hair a little faster than previous models I've tried, but there's not much difference. I love that it's so light...it keeps your arms from getting tired as fast.

I've always liked the retractable cord dryers, since they allow me to keep my storage space a little neater. Also am a fan of the ceramic/ionic units as they do seem to make a bit of a difference for my hair. This dryer works really well, including the ability to (almost) fully retract the cord and fold the unit in half for storage. But I have to give it a little ding in the overall rating because the concentrator attachment does not fit properly and is difficult to use because it falls off repeatedly.

My hair is fine and thin, but this Conair 2-in-1 Hot Air Styler gives my hair BODY! It's more for styling than drying, so it needn't be extremely hot, which would turn my hair to straw. Also I wouldn't want strong bursts of air blowing away the style. My mistake was to purchase it at a local store rather than at Amazon.com where it costs $10 less.

If you merely want a dryer, you might not like this, but if you want a styler, I recommend it. And it does dry as it styles. Towel dry first, of course.

This is the best thing I've used on my hair. What a joy to finally have hair with body and style! And without damaging my hair!

I love these curling blow drying brushes! I am not handy enough to be able to roll my hair on a brush and blow dry it. I have used a curling blower drier for years. As they have worn out I have replaced them at the local department stores. They no longer carry much of a selection. So online shopping I have went. This brush comes with 2 brush sizes. The smaller size has hard bristles like I prefer but it is too small. The larger size I did want has soft bristles that don't work to curl the hair. Top the bottom drawer it goes. You know that drawer that you put everything you probably won't ever use but since you paid good money for it you hate to throw it out at least for a year.

I bought this hair dryer for my wife on April 29, 2006. More than three years later of almost daily use it is still going strong. I was hesitant to spend so much on a hair dryer but after spending approximately $20 every 9 months because of burn outs on cheapo dryers I decided to pay attention to what the professional stylists in my neighborhood in NYC were using. I figured if they use it all day, every day, they must be using a reliable model. After peeking my head in numerous windows and doors, turns out this was the dryer they were using.

I don't know about hair dryer specifics (like difussion) but this has a easily removeable (simply unscews) back screen to clean out hair/fuzz as opposed to my wife using tweezers and an hour of time in the old days to unclog the back filter. That alone seems worth it. Comes with a bunch of attachments I have no idea what they are for. I am just really happy it is reliable and not a piece of junk like so much else today.

This dryer is awesome, BUT whomever designed it didn't think!!!! They put the on/off high/low/ buttons on the handgrip! I keep turning the thing off while trying to dry my hair. It has a loooonnnnngggg cord!! Love that, great power, dries hair fast (if you don't have to keep turning it BACK on). That really gets me. Otherwise it's a keeper.

Cons: It doesn't feel like the best curler in the world, the handle feels a bit weak. Also, the cool tip is too small; I've already almost burned the tips of my fingers on numerous occasions. It's really bulky as well, a bit heavy to use.

Pros: It heats up fast! The curls come out super shiny, sleek and bouncy. You can adjust the temperature settings which is great. I love the long swivel cord, which is a must in curling irons. For the price, it's worth the buy. It's my first ceramic curler and I'm pleased with it.

This is the first time I tried a curling iron. I have straight and slightly coarse hair. I set the settings to 22 (out of 30), and it curled all my hair beautifully in 15 minutes and even lasted 2 days. It's much better than I expected. Highly recommended!

I used to have the Japanese straightening process done until it started to ruin my hair. This product is fabulous! It REALLY works for wonky hair that is affected by humidity. I have recommended it to a number of friends, who also have become fans of this product. I put it on after shampooing, as the directions state, and then blowdry. Some of my friends say to blowdry and then finish with a straightening iron. I don't need that extra step, but if I'm going out between shampoos, might clean up the ends that way.

I've tried a number of products; this is the only one which has met expectations or HOPES.

I was angry when my daughter broke my hair dryer as I didn't have it for long, so I went looking for another one. of course i had a pink one as that is my favorite color. I didn't want to pay alot for one, i just use primarily on my bangs. When I got the dryer I tried it out and love that it has different heat settings that most dryers are just on and off of high and low. I don't usually blow dry all my hair because it takes forever because i have alot of it. but i tried it out and the high setting on the dryer dried my hair very quickly and used the warm setting and didn't feel like i scorched my hair and look very healthy when i was done. I looked up the difference between the ionic dryer and the regular dryer and they say that it is just a sales tactic to sell product, well i guess it worked on me because it the best hair dryer that i have ever owned.

Best Curl Junkie Curls in a Bottle! Hair Styling Solution - 12 oz Deals

This not only smells wonderful, it WORKS wonderfully. I had used many curl defining/enhancing products, including highly-rated, good ones like Curl Keepper and Rocking Curls/Confident Coils by Jessicurl. This knocks them out of the curly-girl water.

It leaves NO funny smell (Curl Keeper smells like old lipstick and JC has unfortunate scents in her line). Leaves no unappealing crunch. It just gives curls a nice definition. I found it helped my curls clump and stay formed, though they were more relaxed than with Curl Keeper and JC. I'm fine with a less coiled up (shortened) curl as long as it stays smooth, soft, clumped and defined. I get that with this--along with a lovely scent. I also have the confidence that the CJ line gives me a lot of high quality products, and mostly natural, too.

BTW, I used it with a bit of ArcAngel (as I always use some gel with any curl definer/enhancer). I've heard from some gals that they can use this without gel. I might experiment and see.

Today, I have pretty third-day hair, and I didn't do anything other than shake out and finger comb my hair (to remove loose hairs from sleeping). No rewetting. No skip-curling. No scrunching. I do have some frizz (I always frizz badly by second day, it's my lot in life), but much less than with any other line of products. CIAB has kept my curls curly and Curl Rehab kept them moist. I love the Curl Junkie line. :)

I'm new to this line, but this is the best "curly hair" and Curly Girl Method friendly product line I've tried so far, and I've used DEVA, Jessicurl, MyHoneyChild, Curly Hair Solutions, Jane Carter Solutions, and Mop Top.

I have naturally curly, long hair and I wanted to try a silicone free styling product. This stuff smells wonderful! It does help to give me control and define my curls & waves, but it doesn't do much for frizz on me. It also doesn't seem to make my hair any curlier. I'm definitely going to use it up, but I won't buy it again because I can find products that do the same thing or better at a cheaper price. If I ever go completely "CG" then I probably WOULD keep buying this because it does a decent job and doesn't contain silicones.

I started following the Curly Girl method (no silicones or sulfates) just under six months ago, and some Curl Junkie products --including this Curls in a Bottle -were amongst the first few products I ordered. I absolutely love the CJ line, but this particular product, combined with Curl Junkie Coffee-Coco Curl Creme-Lite, 8 fl. oz., leave me with consistently great-looking hair! (For more information about the Curly Girl method, see Curly Girl: The Handbook.)

My hair is wavy and fine, but I have a lot of it, and using this along with the Coco Creme Lite really brings out the waves in my hair. I use about three or four quarter-sized dollops of the Coco Creme on my shoulder-length hair, top it with some Curls in a Bottle, and add some Farouk Systems Biosilk Style By Farouk Systems For Women. Rock Hard Gelee Firm Hold 6.0-Ounce / 150 Mlto hold the waves. The result are waves that help make my hair the best it's ever looked. Since this is an expensive product, I tend not to use a lot of it, but I've noticed that the more I use, the better my hair looks; when I really saturate and coat my hair with CIAB,my waves turn into ringlets and I have great shine.

One other thing I really love about the Curl Junkie line is that you can mix and match the products; they really do play well together, although certain combos tend to give me better curls and waves than others.

Although the bottle is about 12 ounces, it lasts a long time since you use so little. I use it about twice a week, and am about half-way through the bottle.

Overall, a great product and one of my Holy Grail hair products!

My daughter loves this stuff. We use it as a styling serum (after a lot of leave in as she has thick curly hair that's very dry) and as a second, third, and fourth day "pick me up" to smooth out frizzies and get her hair to behave.

The scent is pleasing and the consistency is like liquidy gel. You don't need a ton but if you're using it while your hair is wet make sure you use enough. For dry second and beyond day hair you need only 2 quarters worth for mid back length hair. This does not give you the hard crunch that gels normally do and once you scrunch it a bit your hair is soft and frizz free Super!

Highly recommended to curly heads all over! It has water soluble silicones in it so you don't need harsh detergent shampoo's to get it out. We also did not find any build up problems or flaking problems like you can get with gel. Recommended!

After hearing so much about Curls in a Bottle on Youtube, even though I was sceptical I bought this product about a month ago. When the bottle arrived I put it on the shelf and didn't use it. Then the other day it rained and my hair was all frizzed out and looking a mess. I decided to give this stuff a chance. I really must say that this is THE best hair product to control frizz that I have used. Since for me gel tends to be too heavy so I used it without a gel and I got absolutely no crunch. I got great shine and beautiful ringlets. It smells light and pleasant.

I would definitely recommend it for naturally curly/coily hair. It is now in my holy grail of hair product must haves.

I first saw this Bio Ionic Power Light Dryer at my hair salon. The dryer was offered for sale at the salon for almost double what I paid for it through Amazon. I was so glad I did the research before buying it at the salon! It is a great dryer much faster than my old, heavier dryer. What I like most about it is how lightweight it is. My hand would get tired from holding the old heavier dryer but not this one. It cuts the drying time, is gentle because it offers so many different settings and it is easy to hold and handle. It also has an extra long cord so you can plug it in at an outlet and still be able to reach a good distance to a mirror. I highly recommend it.

I bought this to go along with a line of straightening products, but used the dryer by itelf first, without any hair products and was impressed with the quality and speed! My hair is very fine but still needs products to look smooth. I tried this without anything and it took about half the time it takes to dry with an ionic dryer I bought at CVS for $50. As for the quality of my hair, I can definitely tell it was much softer. With products for continuous conditioning, I believe someone with mostly straight hair wouldn't even need to use a straightener, and let's face facts, anything that alters the nature of your hair will eventually break it down. (Article in Allure magazine, Feb/2012, check it out, it says basically the same thing.) Bottom line: this is a good investment, especially when I've heard some stylists have had this brand for yearslet's assume they have more than one client a day ;)

The shipment was very quick, but the attachment did not fit my dryer head. I wouldn't waste my time buying this because if it doesn't fit, you will have to pay for shipping it back, plus they will not refund you for your previous shipping fee. I think it was a manufacturing error. It says that it fits most dryer, but there is no way that it can because I have a standard size dryer and it doesn't fit. I was even skeptical of buying it because there was another person that complained about it not fitting, but I took the chance anyway. I honestly regret it. They should put the dimensions of the nozzle so that people will know not to get it if it doesn't fit the dimensions of their dryer. What a waste...
