I purchased this color for my sister. It is a beautiful, buttery blonde. She was using a permanent hair color, I talked her into trying a Redken demi color. She said she would try it. I would like to mention, she had at one time, very long hair. She ended up cutting it all off, due to the damage that permanent hair dye had done to it. She tried Redken, and immediately could feel a difference. Her hair was so soft, shiny and healthy looking:D She said it didn't burn her eyes, it smelled wonderful, and her hair felt amazing after she washed it. It normally felt like straw. At this time, she is hooked on Redken HQ for good, and she is going to let her hair grow long. This dye is so gentle. It also has staying power for sure. Salon results at home! What a way to feel pampered, and save a fortune!!!

This hair drier worked wonderfully for the first few weeks. Then it started falling apart. The cord began working loose from the plug and the non-standard screws made that impossible to fix (not that you're legally allowed to do that). It is a heavy unit and its long cord was even heavier so it would drag itself off the counter with stunning regularity, threatening safety of toes and eventually breaking the rear filter cap. Within a few months it also developed an incessant and annoying whine (perhaps also from the falls). It does dry hair fast and shiny, if you can keep it from suicide jumping from the counter. Too expensive for shoddy workmanship.

I ordered this online after having a hard time finding locally. I have curly hair which tends to be frizzy if I don't have enough product on it. I wear it curly sometimes but mostly blow it out straight and this product works for both purposes. It helps define the curl when curly and makes hair smooth when blown out or straightened. Product is lightweight, it doesn't weight my hair down even thought I use a fairly good amount to cover my hair.

I absolutely love this hair dryer! I have curly slightly kinky hair. The Super Solano X dries my hair without over drying or frying my hair. The best thing about this dryer is the 2 in 1 concentrator and comb pick. It's extremely sturdy. Very easy to put on and take off the nozzle. This attachment has a twist lock that allows the attachment to stay in place on the nozzle while you dry your hair. This hair dryer is actually replacing my Yellow Bird Conair Pro hair dryer that died on me some time last year. Super Solano X is much better than the Yellow Bird. At first I thought the Solano was a little pricey, but it's definitely worth the money. I am more than satisfied with my purchase.

This is the second return because a lesser model (Solano Top Power at $86.95 Solano Top Power Professional Hair Dryer 1875 Watts vs. the Solano Super X at $109.99) Solano Dryer Super X 1875 Watt With 2-in-1 Attachment was shipped.The error appears to be with the supplier because the Top Power model has been relabeled (a label over the original bar code) as the Solano Super X. I reordered through another supplier (ASAP Beauty vs Amazon Prime & SuperSaver)and hope that the "third time is a charm."
Solano hair dryers are a bit spendy and worth every penny. In 38 years (1974-present) I have owned two Solano hair dryers. They have withstood daily use by me and my four daughters. I wanted a new on to last me through my retirement years. I'm anxious to finally receive the model I ordered.

I wanted a hair dryer that had more than two settings and this one had 4. It has a nice large hood to accommodate jumbo rollers, it does heat well, a little loud but that isn't really problem. A couple of things I didn't like, it was a little difficult to set up and close for storage. However that wasn't the thing that made me decide to return it, I found the plastic to be so thin and flimsy. It was only a matter of time before this thing broke or cracked while trying to close it. I use to own a bonnet hair dryer back in the 70's but don't remember it being so cheaply made. Currently searching for a vintage hair dryer.

I had this dryer for almost a year and I loved it, but the knob stopped working and I had to return it. And they charged me a restocking fee for returning it.Pros: has multiple settings including cool and the air circulates around the whole head for even circulation and lowers drying time. The dryer is big enough to fit a whole head of jumbo magnetic rollers without any problems.
Cons: does not last. I used it maybe once every two weeks and it stopped working in less than a year. The dryer is loud. Flimsy latches to store it away. Can't fold it up when it is still warm.
Overall I liked it, but it needs to be more sturdy so it can last.

I purchased this item for my wife after her other hair dryer (that she had for 8 years) finally broke down. She only had this one for 5 months before it started to act up. When she tries to turn it on it won't click on right away and she has to keep turning the knob back and forth to get it to finally click on.
