My hair is short, straight, and a bit fine, so bad hair days are about flat, limp, and no body. But this stuff is truly amazing! I spray it on lightly before blow drying and my hair becomes thicker, shiny, full of body and life, and it not only lasts all day, it's still beautiful when I wake up the next morning! Honestly it's the best hair product I've ever found. A bit expensive, but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair since using this; even my hairdresser asked what I was using. I never really loved my hair before, so it's great to do so! It looks natural but holds a general shape in wind and weather. A really good product.

After reading reviews on this product and seeing it used on What Not To Wear segments I decided to purchase. I have a lot of hair but it is a fine texture and brown highlighted with blonde. I find that most products are too heavy for my hair and discolor my highlights. This product was not heavy, did not change the color of my highlights, and my hair looked great all day. The next day my hair still looked good with only minor touchups and my layered chin length bob still had body and a defined shape. My hair is soft yet full of body. Great product with a mild scent that was not overpowering or offensive. Would highly recommend and will purchase again.

I'm surprised at the good reviews. This product was like spraying water on my hair. It gave no volume at all and didn't change the texture one bit. It smelled good but that's the best I can offer about this product. I ended up throwing it away.

Okay I grew up seeing constant commercials about products that would make your hair thicker (and silkier).

I 'm old enough now to realize my hair is as thick as it'll ever be, but this is one of the few products I've tried that does give the appearance of more hair/volume.

My dirty little secret: I think I buy it as much for it's beautiful scent as I do for it's quality :-)

I have shoulder-length hair that is naturally curly with a fine texture. Because I live in a climate with almost no humidity, the weight of my hair often pulls out the curls near my roots and leaves my hair looking flat. After washing my hair, I spray this product on the crown and front of the top of my head (I use different products on the ends), comb it through, and then blowdry my hair upside down using a diffuser. The end result is significant volume at the crown with absolutely no stiffness, stickiness, or flaking. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for touchable volume that lasts all day! I also like that you can easily pour some of this product into a smaller spray bottle that meets carry-on requirements for air travel.

I first saw this brand of hair dryer in an Air Singapore first class lounge. The build is solid. If BMW would build a hair dryer, this is what you will get. Of course, for that price you can buy 5 or 6 hair dryers from a big box stores but my experience with those is that they would only last about a year or two before you have to buy a new one. The dryer is a little heavy for its solid construction. The switches are the best you can expect. If you want a hair dryer that lasts a little longer, you won't be disappointed.

This is my third Babyliss hairdryer that I have bought. I LOVED the first two (BAB2000 Ceramix Xtreme Dryer (my favoritelasted a long time) & BABTM5585 Tourmaline 3000 (good too-lasted almost a year) , but this one is just ok. The price on this one was very inexpensive, so it is good for the price, but next time I will spend the extra $10-20 on the other models.

The plus' of this one are that it is inexpensive and very light weight compared to the others, however, the minus' are that the cord is very short, the cool shot button is the only temperature adjustment. I also feel that this one is harsher on my hair than the other two models were. My hair has a frizzy texture so what I loved about the first two are that the dryers are powerful & blow alot of air through so you are able to put it at a lower heat setting (to not fry your hair), but still dry your hair quickly AND get it straight

I read quite a number of reviews before deciding to buy this dryer. Major complaints by OTHER reviewers include noisy/loud; bonnet too small for large rollers/big head; heating part located at the top so sides don't get dried and sometimes, the arm not long enough. Having just bought this a couple of days ago, i have only used it once but this is my assessmentit is worth the price (~$37) and gets the job done with minimal discomfort. The noise was not even as loud as the regular salon dryers or at most the same. I actually felt it was better than the salon dryers because when i put in my pearl bud ear phones, the noise was cut off almost completely and I could hear the program I was watching on my laptop clearly without increasing the volume higher than usual. I am African with moderate volume relaxed hair that gets just below my shoulders. I have a relatively big head with an oval face and I use mostly the Jumbo sized rollers on my hair. It took me roughly about an hour fifteen minutes to get my rolled hair dry. Granted the sides dried last but all I did was to occasionally tilt my head slightly to different sides and all dried. Again, this is about the same tilting I do with some salon hair dryers. The bonnet was wide enough and deep enough to accommodate my head with rollers. As for the arm, I was pleasantly surprised by the adjustments! It has at least three (probably more like five) distinct levels at which a person can position it which I think is good enough for a portable collapsible standing dryer such as this one. Finally, it is quite light weight and can easily be carried about from place to place. The only issue i had was when I set it up the first time. I did not read the brief instruction on how to pull it into the standing position so I was initially afraid it was faulty. Once I looked at the instruction, it fell into place quite nicely. All this, coupled with the free shipping (qualified for order above $25 free shipping) and on time delivery, I would definitely recommend this item to a friend!!

Bad design:

1) Unless you only have hair at the very top of your head, it's crap. It does not have air flow holes low enough in the bonnet to dry the lower third of your hair.... So, unles you like to head off to work or whatever out in the cold with wet hair at your neck, forget this product.

2) The so-called adjustable height only goes up (a little), and it's too high to begin with. This only makes 1) above a worse problem.

I have owned Conair products before and thought I could trust in them. I was very wrong. I really hate this dryer! When you try to extend it to be higher, it tends to collapse. But the worst is the fact that the actual drying area is so shallow that I can't even dry the bottom of my hair; if you use large curlers for long hair, you simply can't get them all into the bonnet. In addition, the space to store the cord is tiny and you have to crush the cord into it. It is a waste of money.

I'm a not an expert on dryers in any way, but after doing research I found that this was one of best hair dryers on the market. I'm very happy with my purchase. Too much heat is never a good thing on anyone's hair. Even at its highest setting the heat is not too hot; or at least hot enough to make anyone uncomfortable. It's also fairly quiet, which is plus. Highly recommended.

It should have stated in the ad the actual circumfrence. When I have rollers in my hair, which is the only time I would use it, the bonnet would not fit down over the rollers! It cost me over $20 shipping to receive it and then return it when I realized it was too small. Maybe if you have a very small head? I gave it two stars because it would probably work if it was larger.

I bought this to do a little one's hair, as well as, my own. Many years ago, I had one similar (different brand)that was adjustable, so it could be placed on a table and one would not need to slope and slither down. We tried placing this with several different height chairs, stools, tables, to no avail. If it's uncomfortable for a four feet high child, I doubt it will work for most. Also, the air comes out one area seemingly, not evenly distributed. And, it feels as light as a toy. I intend to replace this ASAP. Waste of my $$. Not good for those with thick hair or African American hair either.

This product has been so helpful to me. After pregnancy I always lose oodles of hair for months and months and it takes a long time for it to all grow back. I agree with the reviewer who said it can be messy to apply, but it is easy to clean and is so worth this minor inconvenience. It looks so natural that no one could tell that it's not real, at least for my color hair and type of application. I couldn't judge for someone who is trying to conceal a large bald spot.
