I first bought this brush 20 years ago. Hard to believe it lasted that long but I take good care of my things. It's been used constantly to blow dry my hair straight and brushes thru all knots and does not leave my hair static. My teenage daughter started using it and because of double the use, the bristle part detached from the base which was glued in very securely. I just ordered this new one and have to say I love it just as much as my original one. I was afraid it would've been made cheaper or that the bristles weren't going to be the same. But, I was wrong. It is still quality-made and I am so happy I didn't have to search endlessly and settle for something close to it. This brand makes quality brushes as I have several different sizes. I highly recommend it!

I needed a quiet hair dryer because I am the first person up in the morning and our current hair dryer would wake the neighborhood. I would say that 99% of the hair dryer manufacturers in the market today pay little or no attention to the amount of sound produced. Just go to your local hair salon and listen to the noise from these dryers. I would literally have ringing in my ears from the hair dryer that I was using and I am not talking about the department store variety. I started to shop around and my first choice was the Silence HP Ionic because I had seen it in a Chicago Convention and it was American made and the quality was good. No local stores stock the Silence HP Ionic and it is hard to find on the internet for a reasonable price. We found the Revlon Quiet Pro at a local beauty supply store and have been using it for about a month. Everyone in our household really likes it. It has two speeds and two heat settings with the cool shot feature. On low speed it is more quiet than the Centrix Q Quiet 1500 Watt dryer which I purchased from Amazon recently. On high speed the sound of the Centrix Q Quiet dryer is lower pitched and slightly less irritating but not enough to matter. Stylists should note that a Diffuser is not included on either of these two quiet dryers but is available for about $10.00 on Amazon, shipping included. A Concentrator attachment is included in the box. On the technical side, the Revlon has a vertically mounted fan design with curved blades much like a squirrel cage motor. It is energy efficient, light weight and the U-shaped air inlets increase the airflow for 50% faster drying. The rocker switches are high quality, front mounted with easy access. A hanging ring is included on the unit for convenient storage. The Revlon is equipped with a 6 foot heavy duty flat cord with a GFCI protection plug. My wife is a hair stylist and she has owned some expensive hair dryers for her work. She really likes what the Revlon does to her hair as it does produce the ions necessary for better drying and hair softness. Revlon states that it has 30% more frizz-fighting ions and 50% less noise than the competition. The Quiet Pro has great adjustable heat output, terrific air flow, and it is attractive and reasonably priced. This dryer lives up to it's name much quieter than my old dryer and a pleasure to use. It is light and feels like a professional dryer. A friend started talking to me about hearing damage. It occurred to me that I blow dry my hair every day, so I thought I should go looking for a quieter dryer. My old hairdryer is a six-year-old T3 that is still going strong, but it's fairly loud.I thought there was no way this could be quieter and faster. It's both. It doesn't smooth hair as well, but it's about a third faster than a T3, and it is definitely quieter. (It's very hot--which may be why it works so well.)
That's pretty amazing for 25% of the price of a more expensive dryer.

I have long hair and it got dry and brittle and started breaking off in places. I purchased the Thin-to-Thick pack (shampoo, conditioner, scalp serum, and hairspray) and it really thickened my hair noticeably. The increased thickness made my hair less brittle so it was no longer breaking. The serum actually stimulated hair growth all over my head so the few thinnish patches in my hair will soon be filling in.

By the second use, I noticed a big difference in the feeling of volume in my hair and have used it steadily now for about 3 months. I bought this wig a few weeks ago and just never got the chance to fix it up to wear. The bangs needed to be trimmed and it seriously needed a wash to get that chemical smell out. (I used a small amount of Gain in water to soap it up, then I rinsed, put conditioner in it and let it sit for a half hour, rinsed, dried on low heat, and it came out looking more realistic and smelling fantastic!) This wig is very soft to the touch and sleek. However, it was very abnormally shiny before I washed it and it sheds like a cat on a particularly hot day. The ends get tangled a lot as well, and I gently try to remove these knots, but it still sheds! But I can't do too much complaining. It's a wonderful wig for the price.

This is a very good product for those of us who straighten their hair everyday. I have it on a granite counter and the suction cups do not stick and it falls over sometimes. It holds up to a 1 1/2 inch flat iron. I still like it and would recommend.

I love these rollers... I have natural, kinky curly hair and these rollers are perfect for twist n curls, creating an easy bantu knot effect, wonderful. I have never tried them with straight hair to create a curl, but I'm sure they will work great. These create a lasting curl in minutes, not hours... which is strange. It's almost too curly if I leave them in overnight to curl the end of my twists. I use these on either damp or dry hair after I have twisted and the result is the same each time. These are so easy to use, and they never fall out. I dont feel like they cause any damage to my hair because my hair never gets stuck in the rollers and I don't find any hair strands in the rollers when I take them out. They are not bad to sleep it, much better than any other foam roller that have used. The foam rollers with the plastic clasps feel hard at night.The cloth covered foam rollers leave indentations and create a square look. These create perfect round curls every time because the hair is wrapped around the inside and protected by the outside. I'm in love and recommend them to all. Not quite what I was expecting. I super wanted these since seeing Jiyeon on Dream High 2 using them. They're really cute, but not very good if you're depending on them to curl your hair.If you have long hair like me (around bust-length), these curlers will maybe only roll up about half way. Also, if you roll too much hair in it'll get tangled/knotted and you might even get your hair stuck in these suckers 0___0 So beware.
All in all a really cute product, but I think I'll just save my $15 and stick to the actual hair curlers.

I bought these because I thought it would be so cute to walk around the house with strawberries in my hair but I will say that these do not hold alot of hair and you really have to use more than 6 to curl. It doesn't hold that well either but if you just use these for your bangs or your hair around you face, then it's fun. I have had mine for almost 3 weeks and absolutly LOVE it. My hair is naturally curly and super frizzy especially on humid days-I live in the south so we have a lot of humid days. After having used a $20 straightener just to see if I'd actually use one if I had it, I finally stopped wanting to fry my hair, and decided to upgrade. I picked this one out because of the long titanium plates, and because I'd heard an alarming amount of bad things about the Chi flat irons.I have been so happy with this straightener. My hair is super straight, smooth, and shiny. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair since using it. It's glides right through my thick, stubborn, wavy hair. One stroke usually gets it perfect, some extremely stubborn parts take two. It's so easy and fast to use. I've got so much hair (a hairdresser once called me "Mufasa", if that's any indication), and I'm done in about 15 minutes.

I love this straightener! I have had several others, including some professional models, that snagged my hair and caused it to break. This one didn't pull once! The plates are super smooth, and heat up quickly. I was worried that the plates are metal, because I've heard so much about ceramic, but I did a little reading and it seems that titanium is also good. After using it, this straightener did as good or better than ceramic units I've used--my hair was incredibly smooth and shiny. I used it for the first time before going out with a friend, and the first thing she said was "wow your hair looks great!"I have thick wavy hair that is fairly difficult to straighten. I almost always use the highest setting on other flat irons, but on this one I was happy with one of the medium settings--it does get very, very hot on the higher settings! It was very easy to use though, especially with the narrow plates, and the shape of the casing makes it easy to flip hair around. I haven't tried curling with it yet, but I plan to!
Some folks have commented on a gap between the plates. There is a tiny gap of maybe 1mm, but unless you have very, VERY fine hair, it should be filled up (and then some) by the hair you are straightening.

My stylist recommended the Babyliss Pro some time ago to me. After reading the reviews on it from Amazon I decided to try it. I also own the FHI Platform and a CHI iron. I must say the Babyliss is the best hands down. I am an African American woman who is in the process of going natural and this iron straightens my hair just as good as, if not better than, a relaxer. I like the fact that the iron is thinner which makes it easier to get closer to my roots. As others have mentioned, the iron gets really hot. I have had to learn to use it with one hand instead of two to avoid burning my hand. The only thing I do not like about this iron is that you have press the on button every time you use it (vs. switching it and leaving it switched to on and plugging in iron). I bought this flat iron, after almost choosing the Chi.I've heard many stories about Chi's breaking after a year, which of course means no warranty. This one doesn't damage my hair (always use heat defense before using), and it makes it look even healthier. It smooths all the frizz, and creates smooth, sleek, healthy looking straight hair.
I've only had to use this flat iron on setting 30 (30/50 x 450 degrees), so I use it at 270 degrees and it's able to fully straighten my hair and keep it straight all day, until the next wash. Never use higher heat than your hair needs! You will only be simply damaging and maybe even burning your hair this way, leading to many split ends.

The hair dryer works okay. The drying power is okay at the highest setting and it's fairly quiet. The hair dryer cord is too short. I'm not sure what is meant by "the unique cord storage feature". I didn't find anything like that on this hair dryer.
