I have baby fine hair. After using this hairdryer for several months, I realized it was the hairdryer that was ruining my hair. My hair broke off everywhere and what is left is just super thin shafts and extreme frizz and dryness. It looks and feels like straw and just plain ruined. So unhealthy looking. I did not change shampoo or do anything else differently. I am going to have to cut my hair very short. Worst hairdryer I have ever used. Perhaps just not good for baby fine hair.

I abolutely loved this product! I know everyone's hair is different so I can only speak for mine. I will never be without this Keratin Express treatment again ever! I'm african american and growing out my relaxer. I would never be able to do it with the keratin. It keeps my hair from breaking due to the stress of the relaxer growing out...I purchased the 16oz. bottle just because I know I will probably use it for life and its a better buy. My hair was so shiny, silky, and smooth...I got so many compliments it was amazing!!! I use it about every 5-6 weeks. My hair drys quickly, less split ends, and very managable!!

My daughter has mixed hair and is always looking for that perfect product so that she doesn't have to chemically straighten her hair. This product is great! After putting it on she was able to run her fingers through her hair and it straightened with the flat iron beautifully. The only draw back is that it only lasted two days. My daughter usually washes her hair every three days and she had to restraighten her hair on the second morning.

I have very coarse, curly hair and I live in humid Seattle. I just got my hair cut a few weeks ago and my stylist used this product on my hair. I was amazed at how easily and quickly it straightened my hair. I had her order me one and it just arrived yesterday. I takes ten to fifteen minutes for me to straighten now where as other straighteners took thirty minutes or more. This is well worth the price and is much better than the more expensive CHI turbo. This flat iron works great! I have been using this iron since it was still called UNIL. I have also used a Chi and this works as good or better than the Chi. I am a cosmetologist of six years, and I use this on, and sell this to all of my clients!

I'd fallen into a rut. For the last 10 years, I'd had the same boring bob, but I didn't think that I had many options because my hair is baby fine. So when I got my most recent haircut and the stylist used an Infrashine flat iron on my hair to give it some pizazz, I knew that I had to have one. Upon arriving home, I promptly did a quick search to see who had the best price (Amazon!) and ordered one. My cupboards are full of beauty products that didn't live up to their claims, but this is one purchase I'm glad that I made. I love the 1" size, too. It's perfect for my chin length cut. I'd recommend purchasing a bottle of Biosilk Therapy Serum to go along with the flat iron. It seems to really protect my hair and leaves it extra soft and shiny.

I have fine hair and I had tried cheaper ceramic irons which broke my hair off. My stylist used this tool, and I ordered one online since it was much cheaper than buying it from the salon. I have used it for about a month and my hair is not breaking. The ceramic iron glides over my hair, leaving it smooth and shiny. I am very pleased with this product and would buy it again.

It works quite well, but one thing I do not like is that there are no rubber "rest knobs" on the handle. When it gets hot (and the iron does heat up), and you want to rest it on the countertop, you really have to be careful that it doesn't mar the surface. I have had other brands that do have these type of rest knobs and they are not only handy, but make for a much safer product.

This is my first wall mount dryer unit ever purchased after many hotel and condo stays, I wanted one. I got tired of clutter on my sink top at home, so I decided to purchase this unit due to it's ionic tourmaline hair conditioning reviews and the 1600 wattage and smaller wall mount unit size. I had reviewed all of the other brands available however did not need a night light and was more interested in the hair conditioning of the iconic tourmaline type dryer usually found in hand held dryers. We received the wall mount dryer two days ago and installed today. Have never used this brand before, however installation went well and excess power cord was able to be pulled up into the base unit to have less cord hanging out from wall. Unit looks nice on wall and the cord pulls out far enough for both left and right hand usage from the wall and sink area. I will attempt to update as we use the unit going forward as I see I am the first reviewer.

It was obvious when I received the hair dryer that the pakage and contents had been previously opened. Dryer works and appeared not to have been used, but all packets had been opened previously. Not a very comforting thought for a piece used in this capacity.

Super product. Used one in a Holiday Inn Epress motel recently and tried to buy one at the motel but they were out. I got on the internet when returning from our vacation and found the same one that we liked at the motel. We tried to find it in various stores while on vacation to no avail. I have had this same model for the past 7 or 8 years. When my old one died, I had been so happy with it, that I replaced it with the same product. It is a great dryer. It dries my hair quickly, fits nicely in my hand, and is compact enough that it doesn't take up too much space on the wall. I love the nightlight feature. I would definitely recommend this product!

After having gone through 3 models of a competing brand over a period of 4 years (the last of which lasted only 2 months), I decided it was time to find a different manufacturer. My need was for a wall mounted unit, similar to those found in most motels. While there are a number of manufacturers for hand held dryers, wall mounted options are limited.

The Conair installed easily but I substituted molly bolts for the mounts included in the package. The result is a very strong installation, but the supplied mounting options might also have worked as well.

To keep the cord out of the way, I wrap it around the wall mount.

I have had the dryer for 3 months and it is working fine. It has 2 speeds both of which satisfy my needs.

There is a night light feature that some will find to be of value it goes off when you turn on a light or when the daylight is sufficient.

So far, I think I have found the answer to my need for a wall mount dryer and if it lasts for a number of years, I know I have.

This hair dryer by Conair is really great. The handle is easy to hold onto and it dries my hair fast after I get out of the shower. The nightlight is a plus but really for me the hair dryer itself is what counts. It's not too noisy; fits well in its wall mounted holder and the cord, if you wish, allows you to move it around somewhat without having to change wall outlets.

Installation was a breeze; and this has worked well for some time now. I highly recommend this hair dryer.

So, after reading all of the excellent reviews on this iron, I purchased it. The item arrived in a timely manner, and I was excited. I opened the box and took the iron out of its packaging. When 'trying out' the iron in my hands, I noticed that the plates do not close all the way when you clamp down. :/ The front end was the only spot the plates touched together. The rest of their length was left open by at least a full centimeter. I can see how it would straighten thick, coarse hair just fine. But for my own fine/thin strands, there is just no way this iron could get the job done. So sad. Especially because return shipping is going to be at least $10, so it's like paying $14 just to find out a product doesn't work for you. Ridiculous. I'm entirely bummed.

Ater reading all the reviews, I was excited to finaly buy a flat iron that worked for a reasonable price. CAUTION!!!!! After I used it a couple of times it was great but the third time I used it on my niece's hair, when I was finishing it burned a small piece of hair off and the plates melted. The flat iron was smoking!!!! I had also purchased the babyliss 2000 at the same time and noticed the blow dryer attachement piece had melted also!!! The company said they will send me a refund that the flat iron had malfunctioned by overheating and they believe it was an isolated incident. The blow dryer is still being investigated as to why it melted the attachment piece. I strongly encourage anyone who has an experience like mine to make sure they put it in writing as I did because when I initially called they simply said "oh, do u want a replacement" like it was normal for a flat iron to smoke and the plates to melt. Not to mention a small piece of my nieces hair burned off! Thank goodness I caught it in time. I don't want anyone to experince the same thing or even a worse situation!! SO PLEASE CAUTION!!!!

bought it because i saw the reviews from you guys, skeptically i got it with the understanding that i would send it back to Amazon in case it didn't work... sorry amazon, i'm keeping it... but i think its better to have someone iron your hair for you just so he/she can blow that hot steam away.

i recently decided not to perm my hair anymore, so my hair is back to natural,ie.. very coarse and hairy ha ha ha yes i'm black... i love the way my hair feels its just that combing takes time and sometimes hurts and after a while my hair gets puffy and very very curly... i look like i got a big cotton on top of my head i actually dont need a pillow ha!

i received this iron on 4/14/10 used it on the same day, wish i could send the pics to make believers out of you... dramatic differences from before..i started braiding my hair last year and just cut off all the permed hair so it was only the new hair that i had my sis ironed for me... she's going to buy one too... we were amazed: one minute it was hard to comb my hair, and the next even those small combs went through with no problem... one problem for the 400F-450F do not comb until the hair is cool (they actually said that) but i didn't listen and it melted my beautiful little comb...

Muffles the loud noise of the hair dryer. Not greatly decreases the decibels, but disguises the higher tone, just the most annoying sound. Tested in 5 different hair dryers, just do not fit in one of them. If the air inlet of the dryer is round, certainly fit. Fits perfect in Parlux.

I have been buying this product from my local beauty supply whiic is at the corner of my block. I am african american as well and this product works wonders in my hair. I have to purchase the shampoo from amazon. They don't sell it in the store because the owner claims alot of people are unfamiliar with the product and it sits on the shelf too long, so they don't order it. I can do with or without the shampoo, but This deep conditioner is the best I have used on my hair thus far. I Love it! I apply mine just like I would apply a perm by parting my hair into fours and apply. Let is sit at leat 10min and rinse with cool water. The hair comes out perfect every time.

This conditioner is amazing! I used it last night and was soo pleased I decided to review it today. I'm african american and have some what fine, coarse shoulder lenght hair. My hair is resistant to most products. I've used alter ego garlic. silicon mix and rysell conditioners and none worked for me. But this stuff is awesome! I did take off 1 star because of the appearance (oily orange brown color). This stuff will discolor your shower curtin so be careful, but soo worth it. I will buy more and would recommend to all.
