LOVE it!! Directs the hot air just where I want it, leaves both hands free to fluff-dry and style my hair, and allows me leave my blowdryer out on the Master Bath countertop without cords and clutter. The base is sturdy, and once I put it together correctly, I had no problems.

Key words: ..."once I put it together correctly." Assembly really IS easy, but:

Read. The. Instructions.

I didn't, and made 2 simple mistakes:

1) Two "poles" or rods form the stand, one of which slides into the other to adjust the height of the stand. My first try, everything LOOKED correct except that I couldn't raise the height up. No matter how much I twisted, as soon as I'd let go, KLUNK! Frustrated, I started over from scratch, dug out the instructions (duh!) and discovered I had inserted the second pole upside-down.

2) DO make sure you clamp the flexible neck of the stand onto the "nose" of the blowdryer, so to speak, so that the weight of the dryer and its cord hang BEHIND the stand, AWAY from you, and not in front. I finally studied the photo on the box, adjusted accordingly, and the neck now holds my heaviest blowdryer.

The above MIGHT explain a few negatives this product has received. Just sayin's, all. Bottom line, I love mine. Best $15 I ever spent.

I love this product, it's very sturdy & does exactly what it's supposed to do. You can style the back of your hair easily without juggling a mirror & hairdryer.

I got this product for my step-granddaughter (she's 13) for Christmas. She absolutely loves it she is able to stand there with a round brush and "straighten" her hair as she blows it dry. I'm going to order one for myself now.

We bought this to replace an earlier model that we had that was decent quality. We thought this was the same thing. However, it is a cheaper version of the original. This stand is terrible. Reasons 1/The clamp that holds the hair dryer is too big and not enough tension. 2/ the extension rod that extends the height up has never worked. 3/ The bottom base stand/weight is too light to support the dryer if the dryer's weight is not directly above. Therefore, the stand just falls over. 4/ The bendable part of the support rod is so light duty that it wont support a heavy dryerc so the entire stand falls over. Terrible item. We are shopping around to replace this item but dont want to buy on-line for fear of receiving the same item in different packing.

The assembly was somewhat simple but had a great struggle with the two main components. Once assembled, the stand would not adjust in height as advertised. It only stays at one setting. The stand does hold the hair dryer well, but would be better if it could be adjusted. I would not buy another one.

Great dryer with excellent attachments (diffuser, etc.). I have very thick, curly hair so dryer is a little slow when I try to dry my hair completely straight. Definitely recommend for diffusing curly hair

I think this is a good blow dryer, of course I had to have the pink color and was very pleased that it had a diffuser attachment which is excellent for creating volume. It heats up properly and to high temperature. I have really thick hair so it takes ages to blow out. This blow dryer may take some getting used to if you're used to the other style where the blowdryer attachment is sideways (See infinity by Conair sd8 if you aren't sure what I'm talking about. Overall this is a really good dryer!

I can't believe how long I have been needlessly been walking around with frizzy hair due to those cheap $20 hair dryers sold from retail pharmacies and stores. I have been impressed by the results. My hair is softer and NO FRIZZ. This blower has good heating ability and has a strong air flow. What good is the heating without good flow. The drying time is shorter....it used to take me 17 minutes but now it only takes me 12 or so minutes. My only complaint is that the attachment falls off easily. I was concerned that this blower would be too powerful on the circuit breaker, but no problem whatsoever.....I even leave the TV on. I recommend this blower without hesitation.

My sister-in-law is a hair stylist and swears by this brand but when I used the dryer, it didn't do anything special for my hair at all. In fact, it made it look so flat and left my hair without any body. My hair felt smooth and soft, but it didn't necessarily look that way. Even on the highest setting there's not a whole lot of power, it blows less air and doesn't get as hot as my previous dryer I had an Elchim and it was definitely better. Not sure if the wattage has much to do with it, this is 1875 and my Elchim was 2000. But the 1875 should be fine for my hair since it's normal and not too thick. If you want the flat, straight-ironed look and have thicker hair, this might work for you. For the price I paid, I wasn't impressed. For the record, my sister-in-law's dryer performs much differently, even though it's the exact same model. That makes me suspicious that perhaps this was a refurbished dryer or maybe even a fake if that's even possible. The box was not sealed, though the packaging inside was fine. I'd be interested to hear if anyone else had the same experience.

My stylist had recommended it to me but the price was outrageous, good thing I found it in Amazon at a more reasonable price. I love the design, luster, and black glass base. It goes great with my new bedroom set. But...I wish they made the rotating mirror a little more secure. If you switch between the regular mirror and the 8x mirror on the other side, the screws become loose until you turn it a full 180 degrees. Kind of awkward but i'm getting use to it. Thats the only reason it get 4 stars and not 5.

Italian brand hair dryer, it s used in any italian saloon. I bought when I first went to the US since I already had one in my country but the plug was different. This hair dryer is a great deal, even though the price is a little high comnpared to other regular dryers. My husband and I always bought our blow dryers from regular stores. Then when visiting family they had the Parulux 3200 and we were amazed how well a blow dryer could work. This is more than you'll pay for any standard "store bought" dryer even at the highest end available in stores. It is AMAZING. Quick, doesn't sound as loud, and worth every penny. We're now planning on a second one as we want one for each bathroom.
