I purchased this Goody Ceramic Brush to replace my Revlon one that I had for years and broke. Very Flimsy, has brushes only on one side, so if you have thick hair it just does not straighten very well. Just a cheap imitation~very disappointed.This brush helps speed up the blow drying process, but it doesn't straighten effectively or smooth very well. I bought a ceramic triangle brush last week and it does a much better job.

This dryer works well. I use all of its options and it never gives me any trouble. I choose it because it was lighter and I love that about it. Compare the weight with others before you buy though. I don't know if it is perfect, because I payed a lot, but it was better than I expected. It is really weightless! I compared the air temperature with my old hair dryer and this is much more hot, which means that the hairstyle will last longer. It looks like it is professional! Dryer works well but I dont like the fact that there is only one temperature, hot. Need to use the cool shot button frequently. Very light weight. does dry hair quickly.

As anyone who styles hair knows, bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to styling tools.I use all products on myself before I use them on a client (I do consultations and then the job in-home either at my house or the client's, so everything has to be perfect), and this is honestly better than any other flat-iron I have used.
I have very long thick wavy hair, layered in the front, some fringe, that is extremely difficult to use tools on. The larger irons, no matter how expensive just don't act as they are shown to; but I used this iron with some colour-shield anti-frizz serum and the results were fabulous. I sectioned my hair off and turned the iron to the highest heat, did small bunches at a time.
You can even use this small iron to give slight curl to layers, and probably can add more curl, I just haven't tried it myself and have have a separate tool for curling on clients after straightening.
I would recommend this!

My older sister had this straightener, she recently bought a new one, so she passed this one down to me. It does straighten my hair pretty well, but when I get to the ends it feels as if it's ripping my hair out. It would be even better if it can with a medium heat because low hardly straightens my thick hair, yet high occasionally fries the ends of my hair. But I wouldn't worry about that because although my hair is very thick, it is also EXTREMELY fragile. Other then those small details this is a magnificent straightener. It is very easy to fit in small places yet large enough to get the job done quickly. It's amazing. I would defiantly recommend this straightener to someone looking for a cheap, yet good straightener! Conair BB075W Pro Blackbird 2000-Watt Hair Dryer Review
I like this dryer because it is strong and gets hair dried fast and helps staighten my wavy hair more than most others. This model is used at a very exclusive $alon in downtown Chicago that I've been to. My only complaint is that the dryer is heavy to handle and hold at angles. Yet the price is right. The lighter ones all seem to be over $100! Recommended.
PROS:
-Classic design/substantial housing: has the potential to last years
-Multiple heat settings and fan speeds
-longer cord than most (8 feet instead of 6 feet)
-Low noise (more like a whoosh than a wine: shouldn't wake neighbors if you're in a dorm/apartment situation)
CONS:
-Heat settings are distinctive but not straightforward nor precise
Overall, I feel like I got a very good product at a great price. I would buy it again, though not if it doesn't last. I've only had it for two days and it seems to be doing well.

I am super picky about my hair dryers. And while this is not the best one I've ever had (my favorite was an 1875 watt Helen of Troy Professional that died several years ago), it's not bad. Unfortunately, in this day and age, the only dryers I can seem to find are ionic ones. For me ionic dryers = flat hair. So, with the choices so limited, this dryer is decent. I'd used my first Conair for fifteen years until the overheating sensor near the front of the blower became weakened and the high heat setting would just shut down the dryer. I looked at all sorts of makes and models and settled on the Blackbird because it was touted as a professional version of the dryer which had given me such reliable service. After a month's daily use I can tell you this. The motor is much more powerful than my old Conair. The unit a bit heavier, the cord longer and it puts our a bit more heat at the high setting. I'm delighted. It really does feel and act like a professional product where my old one was a well built consumer model. Babyliss Diamond Titanium Dryer and Iron Reviews
I have african american hair, though not super course. It came not 24 hours later via next-day air saver shipping. When I took it out the box, it felt really lightweight. I also own the FHI Nano blow dryer which is really light but the Babyliss was lighter than that. I assumed it would be like a cheap Conair or Revlon blow dryer you can get from CVS, but NO! It was fantastic. With the attachment, the high heat setting, and a round brush, my hair (which is natural and kinky), was dry and all the curly-kinks I have were gone in about 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, I used the flat iron, which was a dream! I also own a Chi, Hot Tools Titanium, and FHI flat iron. The titanium gives it a natural sheen without having to use any oils. And for the price.....just wow! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!

I used one of these in a hotel and said I have to have one. Looked in Amazon and bought this unit. Perfect for the bathroom for makeup l.
The mirror surface itself is great. The mirror is 5x and 1x. This is definitely perfect for doing makeup ( or so I'm told). I originally got the 8x but it was way too intense. That magnification might be more to pluck eyebrows or something.
It is very nice that this item is in a raised base. The light itself is great. There was no mention in the description but mine came with an extra replacement bulb.
The chrome exterior doesn't look as fancy as other mirrors. It has a strange lip and there are holes (vents?) in the sides that look just a little but cheaper than other models of the same price.
This item also has an outlet in the base so you can plug a hair dryer in without having to bend to the floor. This is a nice item that has done what it is supposed to do. It was definitely a crowd pleaser.

It's sturdy, huge, good quality, bright, convenient, and awesome! I don't use the lights unless I need to fix my eyebrows with the magnified side. It does get warm after a while being close to the light plucking those brows, but it's so great and clear! I like how big the mirror is, and it does take up some room on my desk, but it's so worth it consider the price of it. It's also great that it comes with an extra outlet on the side of the mirror for people who wants to plug in their hair tools!
