I love, love, love this straightening iron! I have used cheap drug store straightening irons as well as the more expensive brands and this has the best features for the price. First, it clamps closed when not in use. No more trying the wrap the cord around to keep it closed for easy storage. Secondly, it has rubber grips on the end to hold while you are straightening your hair. Third, my hair is very fine but is wavy and this works just fine to straighten my hair. When I told my hairdresser that I was looking for a new straightening iron she said to make sure that I buy one that gets hot enough. This iron has 20 different heat settings. I usually set mine to about 10 however if you have long or coarse hair this should also work fine. Fourth, this iron has a 5 year warranty by a company that has been making clippers and other hair products for home and professional use since 1922. Lastly, it heats up in 30 seconds (the Amazon feature indicates 60 seconds). I debated between this model and another Andis model that has 25% longer plates. This is plenty long enough for my hair. I think that the longer plates would be nice but probably not necessary for my use. I am a picky consumer and have no problem returning products that I don't like and I am very happy with this purchase.

length natural curly ( Tracy Ellis-Ross) hair. But after blowing drying and Flat ironing with the Andis iron my hair is silky straight. This a GREAT iron at a GREAT price. You won't be disappointed.

I have had his product for roughly 6-7 months, I have very stubbern medium, thick, curly hair that I have to wash and mess with every morning I have always wanted straight hair becouse of this. This product straightens my hair in minutes!! I'm not one of these women that like to spend a whole lot of time messing with my hair, so I have to have a product that will give me the desired look quickly. It dose take some time to learn a tenchnique, but I can do my medium length hair in about 20 min. I only have to do my hair every other day if I want now. The only con I have for this product which is my own fault is the arms moving around I have looked at several more expensive products and tried them, they would not straighten my hair I would have to iron twice as long which would cause frizziness, or the plates would not hold my hair tight. Don't be worried about the price, they say you get what you pay for well this product didn't cost much, but I couldn't ask for anything better, so I will be sticking with Andis!!! I have bought two of these in the past year because I loved the first one so much I bought an additional to leave at my second home. These work just as well as the Chi's I used to be stubborn about *only* using for years, if not better than the Chi. They heat up quickly, don't break my hair, and have yet to have any malfunctions or problems. Highly recommend saving the money and purchasing this!

This flat iron I purchased and did a lot of investigating before I bought. I am so glad I didn't spend a lot of money this was very reasonable. It feels like a professional Flat iron. It is well made with the swivel cord and best of all it moves down my hair without a snag or pull and leaves it nice and soft. I prefer to wash my hair and let it air dry almost completely I finish with a quick run through with the blow dryer. I add nothing at all to my hair before I I straighten it except a heat protecting spray. It comes out so nice whereas when I used product it would feel waxy with heat. Just a bid of added advice I received from someone and so glad I took it. Anyway I love this and would recommend it to anybody looking for a new iron. My hair is very very thick and slightly frizzy and works on mine beautifully..

I was trying to replace a Revlon rattail comb that I had and lost which had a solid feel, with smooth edges, and that easily glided into and through the hair. This one doesn't do that at all. Don't need the others.

i bought these because i like having abnormal colored hair but my new job will not allow me to have anything except a natural color. these came extremely fast, within 2 days of my order. the color is just like the upclose photo and the hair didnt have much damage to it. reason i only put 4 stars though is the hair within the first inch of the clip is much thicker and looks a bit ratty compared to the rest of the piece. id still recommend this product for anyone looking for a fun clip in hair color.

It came packaged flat and in good condition. You can curl it if you want to. At 16 inches it is very long. The clip stays in securely. If you want streaks of color in your hair, try colored extensions first! You might prefer it to damaging your hair with bleach.

Adds a nice pop of color. Easy to clip in and out and blends. Only wish it wasn't quite so dark and a little brighter (it's kind of like superman's blue highlights if you know what I mean.) and It's stick straight...which doesn't blend as well as if it had a little movement but beats the heck out of one I got from another brand that was a complete curl... for the price some fun.

I had recently used a wall mounted hair dryer in a hotel and loved it because it had three speeds for heat and air flow, making it perfect to dry and style. It wasn't a Sunbeam/Oster brand, but when I searched, this one had the main feature I wanted. I was hesitant to order a wall mounted, but the three-speeds won me over. To my disappointment, the "three" speed heat/air flow is only two. The medium setting blows just as hard as the high and is too forceful for me to style as I dry, so I ended up purchasing what I already had... a two-speed hair dryer.

I have had this Sunbeam 1500 Walmount Hairdryer for over a year and I am still very satisfied with it. Mounting the hairdryer was easy-the fan speeds and heat setting are great but the light stayed on all the time(it is not a nitelite) so I took the bulb out of it. I would recommend this hairdryer to anyone that needs one that is out of the way-the purchase process and delivery thru Amazon.com was excellent.

Having seen the Sunbeam mounted dryer with light and 3 speeds in a hotel, I really wanted the same for home use. When it arrived, however, the item was an Oster and was very lightweight and not the same quality. Had it worked properly, for the price, I probably would have kept it. Although it had 3 speeds, the medium and high speeds were the same. The air flow did not change as it should have, although it did get hotter on high than on medium. I prefer three speeds. I returned the item for a full refund. Also, the shipping was around $8. I asked for it to be refunded, too, since I had to pay more about the same to send it back. The company, Goodman's, did refund their shipping charge also and I appreciated that.

i have been on a quest to find a dryer that straightens, softens and adds shine. this dryer does all of the above. my mother had the dryer first...i was skeptical to purchase my own because it looked old school and she loves all things old school (whether they work or not). it gets too hot and stops working every 5min! stops for a couple of minutes then works again then stops again.

i cant adjust the heat from low to med to high, its stuck at low since i first used it. its just a pain and a waste of money and time.

It was working fine and now dryer has stopped working. I have tried restarting it and followed all directions. Of course it had to die a day after the 30 days return policy!
