I can't stress enough of how cute this dryer is! It is the size of a glue gun (could easily fit in your pocketbook) and just gorgeous. Not super powerful, but exceptional for the size. My friends think it is the berries!

My old hair dryer quit on me and I had a long and frustrating look for another one. Despite only having 3 reviews I settled on this one mainly because it was the only one in the store with a several heat AND blower settings and was ionic/ceramic. I really wanted a finger diffuser too; that it doesn't come with one is the ONLY downside to this dryer (not worth taking a star off for). Oh and it's purple not maroon. :)
It is LIGHTER than my old dryer, has a STRONGER blower and though doesn't get as hot, drys my hair FASTER!! I timed it this morning and it took about 3 minutes to almost totally dry my hair. PLUS, it dries it from the inside out so when I was done only the top layer was slightly damp (personal preference). I can definitely tell a difference in my hair after only 2 sessions with this thing.
FYI: I have fine straight(ish) waist length hair. Hope this helps!

I ordered this dryer because of the great price and the fact that it was a ceramic dryer. It works extremely well. My stylist commented on how good my hair looked. Prior to owing a ceramic dryer I used a coil dryer that essentially burnt my hair. There are 3 heat settings, a cool button and 3 air speeds. I have used all the settings and speeds. The variety allows me to easily use the dryer on my 4 year old's hair when necessary without her complaining the air is too hot. The dryer dries my hair extremely quickly and leaves it extremely shiny and healthy looking. The only thing that I don't like about it is the weight. The wattage is great, and it does a terrific job drying my hair, but it is a little heavy.I ordered the dryer and had it at my home within a week. I had no issues with shipping or delivery. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this purchase.

I don't usually leave reviews although I always read many before buying a product so I feel it's time to give my two cents back.My old dryer just died and I couldn't wait for shipping so I picked this dryer up at a local Walmart. This is a great product for the price! It's lightweight which I love since I like to use the heat of the dryer and a round brush to style my hair.
There are two sets of clickable buttons on the handle to include speed settings high, low, and off; temperature settings hot, warm, and cold; and then a cold shot button by itself. I had to get used to the different feel and position of the buttons since I was so used to my old dryer. The buttons felt awkward at first, but now I like that a can click through the settings without having to stop to see what I'm doing.
Other features of this dryer that I like is that the cord is a decent length and there's a removable door at the back so you can clean the lint trap.
Aside from all the nifty features I've listed above, the most important thing to me was how fast it dried my hair. Soaking wet and it still dried my long, thick hair in half the time!! And my hair is frizz free and silky smooth. According to the box this is do to the ceramic coils and ionic technology the put into the product.

I have never written a review in the past, but I depend on them when making purchases so I figured I should give this product a quick review. When my very favorite hair dryer died a year ago I thought I would treat myself to the best hair dryer my budget would allow. I hate drying my hair because (even tough I have fairly thin hair) it always seems to take too long. So when I purchased my $85 hair dryer I figured my enjoyment level would go up. I was SOOO wrong. That stupid thing was way too hot and so loud that my dog and my baby would start to fret every time I used it. It also fried just 1 year after I bought it. So I wanted to go much cheaper with this purchase. I bought this product really doubting that it would be (as previous reviews stated) quieter, less hot, and make your hair shinier. But I just used it for the first time and I am in love! It was all of these things and more (my hair actually dried faster with less heat). I love that it doesn't make me pour sweat and it just seems to give me more control over the hair drying process. I would definitely recommend this product to a friend!

I have long straight hair and normal cheap curling irons do not work on my hair (my hair doesnt hold the curls for more than 30 min) i saw this product on tv (the Real World) and loved how the hair looked on one of the girls. This Waver is awesome, i used it on my hair for new years last year and it held the entire night. it took me an hour to do my entire head but it worked great and i didnt have to hold it very long (about 30 seconds each hold, i know that may be long for some people i thought it was reasonable)

I have thick, coarse African American hair. I wear it relaxed. Prior to this I used old-school crimp tool for the stove. That worked well.The style However I kept damgaging my hair. I searched for six months for an electric crimper/waver that would provide enough heat. I bought this one because it was relatively cheap, although I was hesitant because it did not have temperature control. But it worked well using small sections of hair.The waves look fabulous. I wrap my hair is a silk cap every night and they seem to be lasting (3 days). It took me along time to do my hair because it is long and thick. I used a non-alcoholic mousse for hold and heat protection. I would recommend this product. Also you can buy it at Sally and return it if you do not like it.

I have long and very thick hair that is slightly wavy but not enough for a good curl so I usually just straighten it. I am bored with the flat straight look and wanted something different and more exciting for evening. This waver certainly delivered. The look it created was unique and fun and very different from my usual daytime look. The waver heats up fast, creates defined waves, and adds a lot of body and fullness to my hair. My curls were very shiny, bouncy and full of body, and the curls have lasted for 2 days. There is a cool tip to hold at the end of the iron so you can stabilize the tool and you won't get burned. The grip is comfortable and the tool is not too heavy my hand did not get tired holding the tool even though it took a long time to completely curl my whole head. The cord is nice and long and swivels which is always a good feature. And the iron did not seem to burn my hair even though I used the high setting.Now that brings me to the negatives. There are only 2 heat settings and I would like more choices. I color treat my hair and probably shouldn't use the high setting all the time. My biggest complaint is the barrels are a little too short. I would've liked more room on the barrels b/c my hair got stuck in the hinge once. It also does not have an automatic shut off which really should be on all heated styling devices for safety. And I think the curls may be a little too tight for everyday, so I wish the barrels were a little larger. For someone like me who's hair is not naturally curly, it creates great "party or date hair" but it may not be office appropriate. And lastly, if you have a lot of long hair like I do, this is really not a tool for everyday. It took me about an hour to curl my entire head. I got a ton of compliments though. I even had strangers coming up to ask me how I did it, and my husband loved it, so I'll definitely keep this for evenings out or special occasions.

I really like this waver, i had read all the reviews on it, and was a little worried, since there are a few bad reviews, but it works great on me!! I have thin hair that doesnt hold curl and falls flat, but this adds great volume, and holds the wave all day! And it doesnt take long to do, i usually leave it on 15-25 seconds a piece... im happy... :-)

Cons: It doesn't feel like the best curler in the world, the handle feels a bit weak. Also, the cool tip is too small; I've already almost burned the tips of my fingers on numerous occasions. It's really bulky as well, a bit heavy to use.

This is the first time I tried a curling iron. I have straight and slightly coarse hair. I set the settings to 22 (out of 30), and it curled all my hair beautifully in 15 minutes and even lasted 2 days. It's much better than I expected. I have featherweight hair and crave volume more than anything, but have gone from my teenage black-goth to a more subtle white-goth. As in, day to day I look like an extreme blonde and can pull off a pale professional lady, and when with friends look snazzy and cool in extreme pale makeup and pale lipstick. (Are you a purple-head or white-head and young or older and daring? It looks lovely!)
With black hair, too much shine and texture is the enemy! You have to have the perfect balance, even if you've gone from cotton candy pink to very damaged blue-black. It's easy to look greasy and untidy.
With white hair, it's much harder to have a shine. This is clearly geared towards the exact problem. If you have any very light colored hair, including fun color, and don't want to look like you sleep in mayo, this is a blessing! A spritz you walk into, head bowed so as to protect your face, and you manage shine in hair that is nigh impossible to have shine in!
I use this on the top, since it's non-greasy, and Moroccan oil on the tips, even if I don't especially need it. Plus... spf! Wonderful! I assure you: your pale hair needs it. There's some sun protective aveeno body sprays that actually do work for hair if needed, but isn't tailored to hair. (And I would also argue isn't very tailored to skin...) High recommendations, and my ramblings tell why.

This one is my favorite so far. It does not have the thickness that I'm used to when I use Queen Helene, but it works. I mixed it with a few of my favorite oils and paced it in my hair. I use saran wrap to seal in the heat. I then placed a plastic cap on my head. Sit under the dryer for 30-45 min, or use a heating cap. The results are unbelievable.

I typically don't use hair dryers, but I initially bought this product because I was sick and tired of my hair being wet when I left for work (especially during winter).My wife used this one time and loved it so much, that she has now started to use it herself! One day, she used her old one (I guess to compare power and dry time) and it now seems incredibly weak. My caution is that this hair dryer will become the standard by which you judge all other dryers!
*Important note: For those of you who buy this and don't typically use hair dryers, there is no directions that tell you that the "fan button" has to be turned on, AND THEN the heat button. The heat button does not start it by itself.

My hair has been dry and crunchy like straw this winter. I use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, but it doesn't help. this product was good and all but it did not take away my split ends as it said it would. my hair does feel alot softer but i wish it would have vanished my split ends because that was the main reason i purchased it.
