I had my hair stylist use something like this on me at the salon while my hair was cooling off. My hair curls and waves with braids so when I get out of the shower and blow my hair to just about damp I roll it up it to the balls and when I am ready to leave the house they are all dry and very curly. If I want to keep the tight curl I just use hair spray if I want it looser i full my fingers through and then hair spray.

Do it when your hair is damp and add some hairsm spray or gel. Then even out the hair, roll them in the same way and wait ^ ____ ^

They are easy and fun to use, actually so funny that i wouldnt show up in front of my husband, wearing them :)

They work pretty well, maybe will be hard to put then on if you have not that long hair, and if you have very long hair, probably 6 Pcs wont be enough. For me they work just perfectly.

Didnt try to sleep wearing them, but they look soft enough to do that.

I bought this flat iron what seems like a long time ago, i really liked it at first, and then i stopped appreciating it because i felt like it was burning my hair. The actual truth was that it wasn't burning my hair but that the heat setting i set it on was too high. Now that I use an anti-breakage conditioner before I blow dry and straighten my hair makes all the difference with the finish of this iron. With this iron being thin, it makes it easier to get at the roots of the hair and the ends of the hair at a low enough temperature not to burn your hair. As long as you comb your blow dried hair with a fine tooth comb to get out all of the knots in your hair, then this flat iron should glide through silky smooth! I call this my silk booster, it makes my regular textured hair feel very silky without burning it.

I bought this at Target because I needed a smaller, less expensive straightener to travel with. I've owned many flat irons, from cheap ones to $200 ones, and this is one of the worst I've ever used. You don't know when it's fully heated, it pulls at your hair (doesn't glide smooth), and five minutes after straightening, my hair is wavy again, and not the cute kind. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and it is naturally between wavy and curly. I generally can have my whole head done in 10 minutes with other straighteners, but this takes 20+. Gave it 2 stars because it's thin and a cool color.

I've had a cheap, no frills conair dryer since I was a freshman in college about 10 years ago. I didn't pay much for it & it left my hair dry, big & frizzy. I found this one for $20 @ TJ Maxx & I'm so glad I bought it! I'm African American with relaxed but thick hair. I'd read that ionic dryers dry hair quickly so I timed it. This completely dried my hair in 7 min! Not only was it dry, it was soft and pretty straight as well. I followed up with my flatiron for style only. I am so impressed with this dryer that I'm considering buying another for my sister for Christmas. I got it @ a steal but it's still worth the $40 listed on this site. Additional tips: I also used Biolage Detangling Solution and a squirt of Sedu Anti-Frizz Polishing Treatment with Moroccan Argan Oil.

Received this as a gift in 2001 from a friend who was a hairstylist and it finally died. I have dropped it many times and prior to death something inside began to rattle, now it cycles between hot and cold air and has a rather distressing smell. Who knows how long it would have lasted if I hadn't been so careless!

After endless internet searching on hairdryer advancements and reading many conflicting reviews I finally decided "why not just buy the same one again? It always did a great job" So, I'm back for round 2, we'll see how long it lasts if I don't drop it this time. Oh who am I kidding, I'm not that coordinated.

Certainly not the lightest on the market but powerful with an extra long heavy duty cord. I was able to easily tame my fine wavy hair into smooth and bouncy styles. I have a CHI Handshot for travel and this is about 15% more powerful (and 1/4 the price).

A++ would buy again.

This hair dryer was good but get the red one for $60, not this one. This one starting having that smoke burn smell after only 6 months. Better value to buy the more expensive one that is red. That one lasted me 2.5 years which is not too bad for a hairdryer

This is an excellent hair dryer. I bought it at least 10 years ago at a Sally Beauty Supply store and it is excellent. I have never had a problem with it and it is going strong. Definitely worth the money to pay for a good one. Very happy and happy they still make it as I am going to buy one in case it dies so I am not stranded.

I love this hair dryer! My previous two dryers had malfunctioned after only a couple years of use each, and I wanted something a little bit nicer and (hopefully) more durable. This one dries my hair very quickly. The highest speed setting emits an impressive amount of air, and even at just the middle heat setting, the temperature is warm enough to comfortably do an efficient drying job. The dryer is a little on the heavy side, which took a few days to get used to, but I am willing to trade that for an enjoyable drying experience. Another wonderful feature is that the outside of the dryer does not get hot like my others used to, even after using it for 10 minutes or more. Finally, the super-long cord has come in handy, as I can now walk halfway around my bathroom without having to stop drying. I highly recommend this hair dryer for anyone looking for a better drying experience; it is well worth the money!

I love my Chi hairdryer! Works great and drys my hair fast. The cord is long, and you have 3 temperature settings. This works great because I blow dry my dog on medium, so it's not too hot. It's the best hairdryer that I've had!

It is actually a lot heavier (and more solid metal) than I was expecting. The bottom is completely coated in a black rubberized material, so it does not slide around on the counter (granite). It keeps the hair dryer upright and out of the way and it looks good too because of the chrome finish and black bottom. It is a good product that I would definitely recommend.

I stick with something when it works, and this styling wand does that. My hair's kinda funny--it has a mind of its own, but it cooperates nicely with Vidal. I found the prior model of this hot air brush almost a decade ago and have been using them ever since.

I used the brush while my hair was short, and I use it still now that it's long. My hair is rather coarse and is a mix of curly and straight with lots of cowlicks. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair, the brush must be doing something right! It's good for smoothing down the frizzies and getting all the ends going in the right direction after a shampoo, and it's good for touch-ups in between. And is so much easier than hot curlers or the blow-dryer/roll brush combination method.

Usually I allow my hair to air dry until it's just damp and then finish it with the hot air brush, but in a hurry, I blow it nearly dry and then use the brush. With just a trace of dampness, my hair responds beautifully--it just gives up and behaves itself like an obedient child. If I could I'd post a before-and-after picture here to show the marked difference this styler makes.

The last time I walked into the beauty salon for a trim, my hairdresser looked up and exclaimed, "My god, look at you! You're beautiful--your hair is just glorious!" I had washed and styled it just before my appointment.

When my local merchant stopped selling Vidal Sasson's Tangle-Free Hot Air Brush, I panicked and bought four more from Amazon just to have on hand in case the product was discontinued!

I keep one in my suitcase, on in our camper and one in each bathroom. Can't recommend it highly enough!

I've been buying this hot air brush for about 5 years. Easy to use and adds a lot of bounce to your hair. Eliminates the need for a blow dryer in one hand and a brush in the other. Only criticism is that if you don't clean out the air intake area(at the bottom of the handle) with a toothpick every couple of months the unit will overheat and the motor fails. Keep both intake areas clean and it will last a long time.

I was looking for a reasonable Hot Air brush curling iron type product. This was reasonable and really works. I can get my hair in shape in under 10 minutes. Unlike many others my hair doesnt get stuck in it either. Also, because it is not a iron, but does curl it doesnt dry out the hair the way irons can.

This is the best for styling my hair. I have never found anything that works better. I have owned 4 and will be buying more... more because they over heat and shut down or won't restart after turning off until it cools down. This one BIG flaw is very aggravating. So now I have two. When one won't work, I just use the other one. I have searched for years for another brand built like this one...the same size barrel...the rubber teeth spaced wide apart...but no luck. The first one I bought eons ago worked fine for many years...when it started acting up (not restarting) I threw it out and bought a new one. That was a mistake. All the others I have bought since have had this problem within months...and the last one turns itself off after about ten minutes.
