I was happy to find this hard hat dryer after using my mother's for so long. I am at college so I needed one for my own and the fact that it's collapsible is so convenient. It dries my hair quickly and it can adjust heights. Great purchase.

Reviews of BaByliss Pro BABNT5550 Nano Titanium Hair Dryer, Mid-Size
I have mixed feelings about this dryer. I purchased this dryer at a beauty supply closeout sale for around $30, a huge markdown from the normal selling cost elsewhere. In comparing it to other dryers in that price range, this is a nice quality dryer with an extra long cord. But while it is compact compared to other "pro" dryers, it is still an average size dryer (with no folding handle or dual-voltage feature). Unfortunately, after using it for four months, I see no difference in drying time nor do I see a reduction in frizz (with long, color processed hair). For what I paid, I am happy with this dryer since I needed one anyway, but all the "negative ions" and "titanium technology" hype is just that nothing more than a marketing gimmick. If you need a dryer for home use, this is fine, but the performance is not worth the huge price premium over other brands.
The price is also unbelievable.
I use this on high heat and speed to start off and then change to warm once most of the water is out of my hair. Then I use the cool shot to finish off my drying and add shine to my hair.
I love the small size but with 1900 watts drying time is fast! No damage at all from this dryer. I was not sure about using high heat but I have had no issues what so ever.

This is a great hair dryer.Small,yet very powerful.Your arm will not hurt again,holding it up.I have medium length hair.It now takes less then 10 minutes to dry and style.No frizz.There are 2 speeds.The high is very strong,but start with that,then use low, with low heat.I like this much more then the Chi I was using before.Perfect choice.Babyliss pro BABNT5550 Compact Nano Titanium Hair Dryer.The price is also unbelievable.

This hair dryer I got for a great price here on Amazon. My sister is a hair dresser and recommended it. It reduced my drying time like crazy and my hair was so much less frizzy! However, it does not have 6 settings. It has 2 speed, 2 heat and 1 cool shot button. I guess they count Off as a setting...?I use this on high heat and speed to start off and then change to warm once most of the water is out of my hair. This is the dryer my hair stylist uses, so I decided to buy one. I absolutely love it. It DOES dry my hair in half the time of my old dryer (a cheap-o conair). I have been a hairdresser for almost fifteen years and have used this brand for about ten. This is by far the best blow dryer in terms of weight, size and most importantly performance. It is ideal for anyone, if you are straightening curly, thick hair or have fine hair. I was a little hesitant to order this blowdryer given how expensive it is but it's really a great blowdryer and worth the money. Its really little and so light but extremely powerful! I have long thick hair and it has cut my blowdrying time about 15 mins (used to be a total of 30-35 mins). If you want a really straight look, I would suggest also purchasing the Denman paddle brush (the big one). Blowdrying your hair with this blowdryer using that brush leaves a really straight and sleek look. I love it! I've been a professional hair stylist for about 20 years. I've worked in salons and work on photoshoots around the world. I have used just about every professional dryer that exists. This is the best I've ever used. It dries quickly, doesn't burn the hair and the dryer itself is very well made and strong. I recently had to replace my other TwinTurbo after 2 years of every day use and different electricity connections around the world. Other dryers before I had TwinTurbo lasted only about 4-6 months. This is a very powerful blowdryer, it came before the estimated delivery date. I would definitley recommend this blowdryer to a friend, but would advise to be careful because it can get really hot. I'm happy I purchased this twin turbo blow dryer!

Even my hairdresser said that using these rollers are better for damaged hair than blow drying. I got a perm on my hair and the stylist damaged my hair badly. Trying to blow dry and iron my hair was causing more damage. I could smell the burning hair. So I had to get it cut off and start using the old fashioned rollers and regular hair drier. There was a complaint on this site about these rollers. Yes they can be uncomfortable (what we suffer for beauty :) ). Anyway, what they are good for is shorter hair that you have trouble wrapping around a roller and getting it to stay wrapped and then getting the roller itself not to fall out. If you don't have these issues, use the smooth roller with lid or the rollers with no lids at all. The lids will often leave a bendy mark at the beginning of the curl. But if you do not always want to use a curling iron, these can be great for difficult to curl hair. Air dry your hair (a setting gel or mousse helps) or use a blow dryer to speed things up (and some of us still have hood type dryers!).Best Deals on Diane Black Snap On Rollers - 1" 8-Pack
I try to avoid completely panning products, because there's usually at least one positive feature that mitigates the negatives. Not so with these rollers. The description says they're made of "strong, non-breakable material." Yet two of them arrived ... wait for it ... broken. And although the description is certainly accurate in saying that the rollers "lock curls in place," it fails to mention that they do this by gripping your hair with fifty miniature pointy plastic spikes, which scratch your scalp while instantly tangling your hair into a dreadlock-worthy snarl. Too bad; otherwise these would have been the perfect solution. But for a buck sixty-five, I guess you get what you pay for. (Please note: This review in no way reflects the service I received from the seller, which was superb. I'd highly recommend them for any other product.)

Initially, the hairdryer was not shipped with the hair accessories that were advertised as "included." Not Amazon's problem, but they solved it and made me a happy customer (thank you again, Amazon). Well now, it's 9.5 months later and the hair dryer stopped working entirely. It worked well while it lasted, but 9.5 months is a pretty short life for a hair dryer!

I bought this drier based on other site reviwes and the price, and am disappointed. I have a hairdrier half the size that has twice the power -and when combatting frizz the length of time you have to spend drying makes a huge difference! This is the best hair dryer I've ever used!! For only $14, u guys have to get this. When you first turn it on full blast, u will smell a burning smell but all you have to do is let it run a bit and it goes away. This hair dryer literally dried my hair in 5 min. very perfumey...did NOT come sealed, not in a plastic shrink wrap no tape sealant around cover...sooo...it does give your hair a nice smell afterwards but i did not notice anything different to my hair! used half of it no it will probably sit in my cupboard under my bathroom sink forever

As you can probably tell my wife loves her new flat iron. I had a chance to Skype with her today and for the first 30 minutes all she wanted to talk about was her new flat iron by Onei.
Her top three pros:
1 WAY faster straightening than other flat irons she's used in the past. What used to take her almost 2 hours (she has a lot of hair), now only takes her about 20 minutes. "I would feel comfortable straightening my hair before work with this. I mean, I would totally have enough time to."
2The Onei flat iron doesn't burn her hands. Every other flat iron she's used would get hot to the touch around the pads, or where you grip the tool. She explained that on flat irons there are places that you have to push to clamp in on your hair. On other flat irons the places your fingers touch would heat up and get very uncomfortable. With the Onei flat iron the pads stayed cool enough to keep on straightening without any discomfort.
3 The Onei flat iron heats up fast and cools down fast. She was really surprised at how fast the thing heated up. She also really likes that she didn't have to leave the iron out on the counter, where our son might be able to pull it down, because it cools down so fast.

After reading countless reviews of flat irons of various brands and price points, I decided to purchase the Onei MK-I Halo. I am so happy with my decision! I truly believe that this flat iron will last for years. I had never heard of this brand, but the glowing reviews lead me to take the plunge. This small company seems to be devoted to putting out a quality product for its customers.What I like:
Automatic shutoff. This was a must for me, as I drive myself crazy wondering whether or not I turned the flat iron off. This feature was surprisingly hard to come by, but this may be because many professional flat irons are used for extended periods of time and therefore wouldn't want or need the iron to turn off after 30 minutes.
Heats up quickly. I turn on the iron, and it's heated and ready to go by the time I grab my hairbrush and spritz on some heat protectant. This is great, as I usually don't have a moment to spare in the mornings.
Adjustable heat with exact temperature reading. The iron heats up to a maximum of 450 degrees, but I usually leave it on 360.
It's just pretty.
Other features:
The cord is extremely long. This could be a benefit for some people, but I don't really need it. Since I found myself stepping on the extra cord, I tied up the excess with a cable tie.
The swivel cord seems to work really well. I don't anticipate any kinks or tangles.
How it works:
My hair is basically straight, has a mind of its own, and loves to flip out at the ends. I always thought it looked fine when I left the house, only to discover that it had morphed into a hot mess by the time I get to work. I didn't expect a new flat iron would make a difference, but it did! I use it to straighten and smooth my shoulder-length bob. The rounded plates allow me to gently curve the ends under, and that's exactly how they stay. My style stays sleek and shiny all day, and I couldn't be happier!
Quality:
This plates are smooth and glide through my hair. The iron feels solid in my hand, but is not too heavy. The black plastic panel on the top tends to squeak when I press it with my thumb, but the wand seems very well crafted in spite of that. I have handled several well-known (and very expensive) flat irons in stores, and I believe that the Onei is of equal or better quality.
Overall:
I am very pleased with my purchase. My daughter loves it, too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to a friend.

I have to admit I'm disappointed in this product. I started using a flatiron 2 years ago and had purchased a mid-grade Revlon model. Since I use it daily, I wanted to purchase a better one in hopes of better results (faster, higher temperature and a smoother finish to my hair). The only thing this delivered is the first thing--it heats up faster. Other than that, my $40 Revlon one gives a better end result. I have naturally wavy hair and I have been using flat irons for years, I have found some great ones and I have found some bad ones. I have also seen some brands that were great get sold to some big company who wanted to make them cheaper and they turned into a bad flat iron...(I'm looking at you, Chi) I look for quality. The 4 year warranty on this one says quite a bit about them standing up for their quality. (Chi went to a one year warranty when they went down in quality).The first thing I liked about this flat iron is that the edges of the plates are rounded off . You don't always see that but it allows for hair to run through the flat iron smoothly, with no edges to pull at your hair. This also makes it far more easy for you to curl or flip your hair with the flat iron (great on my bangs, for example.)
Secondly, the plates "float" This means, unlike many of the cheaper irons, when you press on them, you will feel a springiness or some "give". This allows more movement when you are styling with less damage to the hair when doing so because the give is in the iron rather than the hair follicle.
I never buy a blow dryer or flat iron with out the ionic energy--it honestly does protect hair and add shine. The better models now always include this, as does this flat iron.
You can regulate the temp from 150 to 450 and a bright ion display shows you the temperature. I did use my laser meat thermometer to measure what this read against it's true temperature and it measured accurately.
Overall, it has all the components that make for a great flat iron, but most importantly it works well on my hair and leaves less damage.

I bought this flat iron after reading all the positive reviews on Amazon. At first I was a bit skeptical because I had a CHI for so long and liked it, but I'm very glad I bought the Onei because it does a very good job straightening my hair. My one criticism is that it's not dual voltage. I travel a lot, so I'd have to take a converter with me, but for this price I wish it was dual voltage.

The product description (here on Amazon and on any other site showing this brush iron) says "4-in-1: Dryer + Straightener + Curling Iron + Brush". I thought this meant it had an air drying feature but it does not. That was a little disappointing, because while I didn't think I would use the feature often, it sounded like a healthier way to dry my hair than a standard dryer. Ceramic barrel and all. Even so, it curls like a dream. My hair never gets caught, and I feel like it is easier on my color-treated hair than a typical iron. Of course the price is crazy, but it is put into perspective when you figure what we gals spend on a salon visit.
She took it with her when we went to Seattle a couple of weeks ago. It is light and compact, so no issues traveling with it. She loves the different heat settings too. Great product.

I've been looking for a curling brush iron for quite some time and I'm so excited to say my search is finally over. I was hesitant to try this product because of the price. Then, I couldn't find a lot of reviews online until I did a search on Youtube and saw a few videos that helped me make the decision. I bought it and I'm so glad I did. It took me about 20 minutes to finish my long, wavy and fine hair. I simply loved the curls. My hair felt so soft and shiny.
