Cheap DryGuy AC/DC Footwear Dryer

I bought the AC/DC model several months ago and use it for warming and drying ski boots. I primarily use it in my car to warm up my ski boots on the way to the mountain. Nothing is harder than putting on performance (Ie. stiff shell) ski boots when they have been sitting in a cold car or garage. They give you a good head start to keep your feet warm on cold days. I find that when I start the day with warm boots, they don't suck the body heat from my feet...Cold boots tend to stay cold all day cause they're never able to catch up to your body temperature.

It takes about 20-30 minutes to warm them up.

The temperature is safe enough to use with heat moldable liners and custom food beds.

You can put them in gloves to warm them as well.

The heat also works well to keep your gear dryer and odor free.

They won't work great to quickly dry a soaked pair of work boots. But they'll eventually dry them by creating heat and some air flow by the means of convection. For really wet boots, you'd get faster results with a heated/forced air boot dryer. Though, these are super compact and great for travel.

Edit... I've had it about two months. Worked great till it stopped working.

2nd Edit... Dry Guy quickly replaced it for no charge and were very eager to make sure I was happy with the drier. Excellent customer service and it has been working great since it was replaced. A++ company.

This item is a must for all skiers. Keep it in your boot bag and you'll have toasty boots to start the day and at the end of the day, you can dry them on the way home. Don't leave home without it!!

Another GREAT CHristmas present I got for my husband! He loves to mountain bike we live in NJ, so it gets COLD in the Fall. I got these hoping they'd keep his feet biking they did. He was very happy to have warm bike sneakers to slip into and the ability to dry them and keep them from smelling afterward. I also got a pair for my mother-in-law's gentleman friend who is an AVID hiker. He is also thrilled with the results.

What can you say about a product that stops working after 4 weeks of use. The heat was minimal so there should not be any burn out, so go figure. Low cost but high risk. I hear that this is a problem with their other products. I will see if there is any warranty response and report back after I have dealt with the company.

This bottle is like magic!

I am a person with very curly stubborn frizzy hair! and using this keratin my hair now is completely straight! and its very shiny and very soft! Although there are some wavy roots in stubborn areas but they are not annoying me besides they give a little volume.

One thing I would like to add, this Keratin doesn't really work well if its not used with a very high temp babyliss, the one I used is from BaByliss Pro Nano Titanium, its temp goes up to 450.

I would recommend this product to any girl or woman who is tired of going to the hair dresser to straighten her hair every other day, a girl who always has to tie up her hair because its too frizzy, a mother that spends lots of time every morning brushing her daughters hair before school.

This product kind of works, but not like the original QOD Gold. It only lasts about a month, and does not completely remove the curls like the original QOD Gold.

I bought this brush to use primarily on my bangs. It works well but I have very fine, straight hair and find the bristles are a bit sharp. I have to be very careful when using the brush as too much pressure causes me pain. This is the first time I've bought a brush by this company and would think twice before buying another given my hair type. If you have thick, curly or coarse hair, it may work better for you.

I bought two of these dryers to replace two old ones that I had for years. I was very excited to have something that looked updated. When I recieved and assembled them,I left them for my hairdressers to experience the next morning.

I got called immediatly because they realized that the dryers extend and go up like my old one,but the hood is not very deep on the inside at all and the client could not easily sit under it.This is in a normal size chair! Forget about someone with foils! There was no way to extend it out more to help.I had to mail them back!

I've had this bonnet hair dryer for over a year and it still works great. I have really frizzy hair, and the only way I can get rid of the frizz is to put my hair in big curlers and sit under a bonnet hair dryer. I haven't had a problem with it being too short the pole extends pretty high. Having it on castors is really helpful for moving it around. In addition, it has holes all around the bonnet, so the air doesn't all come out at one place and get that part of your head too hot.

I bought this dryer about a year and a half ago and I must say that I really like the convenience of using this dryer. I am sitting under it right now as I type this review at my computer desk. It does work fairly well but I wish it dried my hair faster than an hour and 15 minutes. My hair is fine and it's not that long either so it should be drying in at least 45 minutes, no more. The other thing with it is, it does not seem to dry my hair evenly so I rarely rollerset my hair as a result. I simply let my hair hang loose and allow it to dry that way for faster results. I may be investing in a Pibbs 514 dryer when this one goes out on me. But for now, it is doing what I need it to do. It does however leave my hair nice and bouncy when it's all done.

I have only used my hair dryer a few times and I would notice that the handel would get so hot it would burn you to the touch. Since this was my only hairdryer I kept using it, I just changed my grip. Well this morning I was drying my hair, it switched itself from High to Low, sparks flew and black smoke started rolling out from the handel and it burned my hand. This hairdryer was to expensive to de this defective. I will never by another Belson product again!

It is absolutely essential that I have a comb attachment to dry my hair. This one broke within 2 washings. First the barrel seemed to be cracking, such that the attachment would fall out. Then the attachment itself broke. I can still use the dryer. It gets hot, but I can't attach anything to the barrel. Also, the buttons are ackwardly placed making it hard to hold without depressing the 'cool' button. It just didn't work for me.

I have very dry, thick, curly hair and a lot of volume too. Every few months I have to relax my curl in order to keep it under control. I also live in the tropics where heat and a lot of humidity don't exactly help my hair remain frizz free. I was very skeptical when I first bought this product because I had tried many hair straighteners and all had given me poor results. Thank goodness that I was finally proven wrong! This product definitely does what it says it will do and is very affordable in comparison to other products on the market. I flatten my hair after I blow dry it and I have finally been able to tame my wild hair into soft, smooth, silky, straight hair. I have been getting plently of compliments but most importantly, I feel happy with my hair! I have recommended this product to friends and family and they have also acheived wonderful results. I recommend that you buy a deep conditioning treatment (Redken Heavy Cream) and leave it in your for 15 minutes with a self warming cap, rinse out and apply a heat protectant on your hair (Redken Heat Glide) before the process. Your hair will be fabulous!

I read the reviews and was quite skeptical since I've tried almost everything to straighten my coarse, thick, curly hair. I get my hair chemically relaxed about every 9 months. But the results keep my hair still curly, just not as bad. I've used ionic hair dryers, flat irons, curling irons, etc. It usually is an hour and a half process and me sweating half of my body weight in the bathroom! But this product eliminated the hair dryer...no sweating! It straightened quite nice! I used a comb in conjunction. That's the only thing I wish it had built in. My hair section was completely dry in the one passage. The entire process only took me about a half hour! Just make sure you condition well and use a good hairspray to ensure lasting results. I used my curling iron to secure and smoothe my ends. I'm impresssed.

I know this review may not be very helpful to most of you but I am just going to name some problems with this straigtening iron to warn you.I have wavy hair too so some of these problems may not affect you.

-It doesn't straighten wet hair.(It actually does, but my hair is still partially wet and it becomes wavy after it dries)

-It is only COATED in ceramic, after a while of use, it eventually chips off, leaving your hair exposed to even more damage than it has already done.(I'd suggest getting a ceramic plated straightener)

-The straight hair doesn't last. After a day at school, it starts getting wavy, especially if it is humid outside.

-It does damage to your hair. Its not as bad as those $10.00 ones but you still end up with a bunch of split ends and frizzy, damaged hair

There are also good things to it too, and it seems awesome when you first get it but eventually after a short while it wears down. I'd suggest getting a little bit more expensive hair straightener that will live up to the price.

I got this hair straightener for Christmas two months ago and I absolutely love it. I can't imagine ever going back to my old flat iron.

It has several heat settings, so I don't feel like I'm burning my hair. I usually use it on dry hair because its saves time and is easier to do.

If used properly on wet hair, you'll be happy with the results. It takes a bit longer when straightening wet hair and you have to be patient because you have to hold the iron in each section before sliding it down some more. Its a lot easier if you have someone straighten your hair FOR you when its wet because the steam can easily burn you and after a while your arms will get tired.

My favorite thing about this product is how quickly it heats up (in seconds) and beeps to let you know its ready.

Its worth every dollar.
