Review of T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Ion Generator Hair Dryer
This dryer moves LOTS of air; dries quickly without burning your hair. This is my 3rd T3 Featherweight. My first 2 still work but are 8 years old and don't push as much air as they once did (though still better than most brand new less expensive dryers). My hair is long and very thick. The T3 will allow me to dry and style it in < 15 min. The weight does not wear your arm out at all. You can either spend the money for one T3 or spend more by buying numerous dryers (that take longer to dry your hair) over the life span of the T3.
Tip: if your hair is long, section it off and dry/brush/style it from the bottom up to avoid tangles.
For some time my husband and I have been concerned about the noise put out by most hairdryers and the effect of that noise on our hearing. We had purchased another brand expensive dryer some years ago that was supposed to be quieter but it didn't last six months and broke. I am hoping this one is better.
This definitely is quieter. The handle makes it easy to hold and maneuver.
It does dry more quickly, I have longer hair and the condition of my hair is shiny and sleek. Most impressed. Another feature of this dryer (if you care) is that it LOOKS good. If it were an automobile, it would be a Porsche. I look at it this way I dry my hair 365 days a year. What my hair looks like affects my whole day, as most women and men will admit. Bad hair day, bad day. So I am happy my husband spent this money on this dryer. I definitely would recommend it to others. Worth the money!

Do not buy this hair dryer unless you're sure you want to keep it. Ours was defective but Amazon said the hair dryer could not be returned, even though we contacted Amazon a few days after it arrived. Fortunately Amazon was willing to give us a full refund, although Amazon could not take the hair dryer back and it was a hassle to get the refund. Lighter than most full size dryers. Dried much faster, smoother and had more volume than with other driers. Also, even though it dries faster, it didn't feel as hot. Purchased for my college bound daughter, she has been extremely pleased with the dryer. She claims that it does dry her hair faster and with less frizz. The dryer has only been in use for one month but seems to be solid and dependable. The weight of the unit has not been an issue, as some have previously stated.
Sept 2010 Update This unit is still blowing and going. Used on a regular basis the dryer has performed wonderfully since purchasing it in August 2006. My daughter was so thrilled with her dryer that I purchased the same model for myself and it has been in use for over 2 years. If either died tomorrow, we would be hard pressed to replace it with a different model.

I bought this in April 2006 (six years ago), and again just now. That's how long the last one lasted. It worked great, I never had any problems with it, I never hit a button by mistake, never caught my hair in the back like others, it's not as loud as others I have owned, the cord is longer than some, it has a nice attachment, good buttons to choose from, and a nice little rubber nub on each side so that it doesn't slide off the counter, too. After the last one died (stopped blowing heated air), I snipped off the cord and gave it to my son to play pretend with, and he spent the next 10 minutes pounding it on the floor like a hammer, with no damage to the body, if you're worried about dropping it. It's not too heavy, has a good-shaped grip, and it's just the right proportion to style with (not a short nozzle or weird handle that you have to compensate for). I had the option to buy another hair dryer, and went with the same one again, after going over many others that were more expensive or were different. This hair dryer works. So it's the one I bought. Good dryer, very simple and has a nice combination of settings. Drys hair very fast with no frizz even in Winter. Liked the first one so much I bought a second.UPDATE: I thought it worth updating this review, as it has been nearly 5 years since I purchased two of these dryers, and they are still going strong with daily use! One of the things that I have come to really appreciate about this dryer is that the low fan setting truly is low. So many other dryers give you "high" and "higher" as choices. I don't want to achieve the "head out the car window look", I want just enough airflow to get the job done. Of course, there is a high setting if you do want more. The other noteworthy thing is that cleaning lint out of the dryer is so easy! The lint screen removes very easily and can be cleaned in seconds and replaced. This helps keep the unit working efficiently and adds to its life.

Comb teeth are starting to melt from blow dryer heat. I used this with a hot tools dryer so I thought it would work fine--wrong.
I dry my hair with the pick on until most of it is dry, except for a couple inches on the ends. Then I remove the pick & dry it as usual holding a quarter round brush. A little hair product & I'm good. It has cut way back on my hair frizz, at least until it gets damp again.

I do not recommend purchasing this product. The product constantly falls off of the dryer. I have tried every technique imaginable to get this product to stay on the dryer; but, despite my best efforts, the product falls off. There is no point in having this when it falls it constantly. My hair dresser recommended this to me, and even bought it for me! It fit on to my hair dryer easily, but I also hear there is a way to adjust it if need be. It rotates easily so you can easily keep tension on your hair as you dry it, without having to twist your arm or wrist unduly. You can pull the hair forward or back as you pass through each time to dry or go cross ways as I do on the hair in the back of my head. I have two hair dryers and this tool did not fit onto them. Was a waste of money and time.
Cheap Cricket Centrix 5000 Dryer
I recently purchased this hairdyer and a Babyblis 2000 to complare the two, the Cricket Centrix 5000 does not have 1/2 the amount of airflow, and power of the Babyblis. It takes twice the amount of time to dry my hair. I can't wait to return it!!!
The ad says, powerful but quiet, and that may be true if you compare it to a loud, weak dryer. It's not exceptionally quiet or exceptionally loud, about what you'd expect to find at any salon.
Think of it as an investiment, great hair dryer that saves you time and won't crap out after 6 months.

I did some research concerning utilizing Steamers for Natural Hair. The issue with my hair is that I worked-out 5 days a week and 3 of those days were Hot Vinyasa Yoga Workouts, where you exercise in temps above 90 degrees. I would sweat like crazy and my hair was filled with salt, which in turn would dry my hair out. Therefore, I researched steamers and found this one. My hair is soft as cotton, has moisture. I've only used the product a few times, but my hair feels amazing. This steamer is very pricey, but was well worth the investment and I hope it lasts.
