I'm someone who cannot blow dry and style my own hair, which is very fine. I keep it short, in either a straight style or all over perm, but hate the tight, just permed look. I've used other brands of hot air stylers made by Sassoon, with reasonably good success on my perms, but this product is amazing! I own the RV444, which has all the identical accessories and specifications as this RV444C. In a matter of minutes, after simply rolling and curling the 11/2 inch barrel through my hair, it looked as though it had a natural curl and was easy to style. I'm 69 years old and don't have time to spend trying to achieve results, because of a variety of physical infirmities. I don't know how it would perform with longer hair, but for my needs, I couldn't ask for a better product and have recommended it to friends.

This product works better than any curling iron or hot brush I've tried I blow my hair dry and it's all frizzy then I just section my hair out and use this curling brush on it and it makes my hair super silky with lots of body and a bit of a curl at the ends. I bought one of these at the store about a two years ago and then I broke it. I looked all over for a new one and ended up trying many different types and none of them worked as good as this one. I finally did a search on the internet and found it on Amazon. I bought 3 just to make sure I am never without one! : ) THis is by far the best product and an added bonus is that it's much cheaper than most of the rest in this category.

This hairdrier has been redesigned. I am very upset with the Revelon Company for doing that. The brush surface has been shortened and air vents put in the brush attachments. That makes it very difficut to dry the hair because the air from the vents blows the hair that is not on the brush and disturbes the styled hair that has already been dried. The handle has been made larger around. That makes it very hard for someone who has difficulty gripping to use it. I have used the earlier designed hairdrier for years and loved it, but this one leaves a lot to be desired. I wish Revelon had left the design alone and not made the so called improvements. I know the person or persons who redesigned the drier never dried their hair with it. Because if they had, they would have never gotten through the styling process.

I have owned this product for the past few months. I love the brush sizes and that they are interchangeable. Great tool for loosening curly hair for a softer look. The quick curl-release is great. It also has several temperature settings . . . low/high heat and cool for setting the curl. The barrels also cool down fairly quickly after use.

My only complaint is the plastic power switch. It pops off at times and is tempermental about making a connection at start-up and switching the temperature settings. It may just be my unit or could be a flaw in the product. Check out the switch before purchase, if possible.

I paid only $17.00 + tax at Walmart. I am looking for a similar product with the same features but sturdier construction. This one is not worth $30+.

My husband recently asked me what the hairdresser did to make my hair look so sleek when she styled it. I used the same products as her and copied her techniques but my fine hair tended to be a bit frizzy. The next time I was at the hairdressers I paid closer attention. Same shampoo, conditioner, brush size and similar technique. As she blew my hair dry I realized the difference she used a professional hair dryer. For years I have purchased inexpensive drugstore hairdryers that run about $20 and replaced them when they blew a fuse a year or so later. With a professional dryer she was able to dry my hair quicker and that combined with ceramic and ionic technology of the dryer she used cut out the frizzys!

After checking out several hair dryers including the one she used, I decided on the Babyliss Pro-Carrera. There were a number of reasons. It offers ceramic and ionic technology. The wattage 1900 is gentler than the 2000 but still powerful. AND a super selling point was that though the dryer is a professional model it is LIGHTER and more COMPACT than other professional dryers by about 25%. Yes I want nice toned arms but not from using a hairdryer. I wanted the dryer to be easy to maneuver.

The dryer has not disappointed. The styling is very euro-chic. Black with a matte finish. Not the shiny easily scratched surface of other models. Controls are easy to use. The handle is comfortable to hold. It has a heavy duty cord, overkill for my home perhaps but not a problem and the hairdryer is compact and not too heavy. The dryer comes with a concentrator nozzle which is not mentioned in the item description. This snaps on the dryer and concentrates the air where you want it to go.

And it dries beautifully. A powerhouse but very controlled works great on my baby fine hair and dries my daughters thick locks in half the time of our cheapie models. And the good news is I understand it will last for years instead of breaking down within a short time period like the cheapie models. Plus its quiet!

For the kinky hair people, here is a review for you. I was having lots of hair breakage and decided to go to a hair loss specialist. She did not have kinky hair and told me to stop putting relaxers in my hair, or stretch retouches out to once every 3 months by using a ceramic flat iron to straighten my hair. She said that since beauticians have stopped basing the scalp, African American's scalps are damaged and causing thinning hair whereas they may have had thicker hair as children, or before relaxers. I thought she was incorrect because she did not have hair like mine, and therefore did not know how to treat it. There was no way that I could imagine going over six weeks without a retouch. I found a beautician that I thought could treat my hair. This beautician used a ceramic wet to set ceramic iron on my hair. My mind was blown at the silkiness and it remained intact in damp weather. The beautician said that some people are using ceramics instead of perms. I am now on the ceramic-ionic move and I am loving it. This dryer was amazing. I keep looking at my hair because it is so silky and shiny and I have not had a perm in nine weeks. I would now love to discontinue the use of relaxers and bring back my natural hair's elasticity by using ceramic hair appliances alone. I now see what the hair loss specialist was saying. Sisters-this is the dryer that you want to straighten your kinky hair. Why did I give it a 4 instead of a 5,the reviews were right about the poor location of the control switches, heavy weight and large size. They are not so favorable, but you will love you hair. I am very impressed with both the design and performance of this hairdryer. Exceptionally well-made, it sports a very sleek, cushioned black body; is unusually lightweight especially for a 1900 watt dryer is comfortable to hold, and I did not experience any problems with accidentally changing the settings on the handle (hot,cold, on, off, cold shot, etc.). There is absolutely nothing flimsy in the design of either the switches or the body of the hairdryer. You won't run the risk of changing the settings by accident.

Regarding performance, I am amazed at the outstanding results. My thick, long, coarse and frizzy hair became so sleek (major improvement noticed after having used the dryer three timesI guess the effects are cumulative) that it looks like I took a flat iron to it. I didn't even use styling products!

It dried my hair in less time than my previous dryer, an 1800 watt, terribly heavy professional Elchim (non-ionic), and it did so without tiring my arms. The Babyliss Hair Dryer, as described online, does everything it said it would. Cheap Conair CNRTS1875CKN Converter and Adapter Set

The Amazon description for this product (Conair CNRTS1875CKN Converter and Adapter Set) says "Dual wattage converter converts 220V foreign electricity to 110V". This is very misleading, because the voltage conversion only takes place at the low-wattage setting.

This product is actually two different converters built into one package. At `LO' setting (0-25W), it uses a small AC transformer to convert 220V sinusoidal waveform into 110V sinusoidal waveform. This is the preferred approach which works well for any low-power electronic appliance. One obvious limitation is that the appliance's power consumption must be under 25W (most laptop computer's AC adapters are rated for 90W or higher, by the way). If you connect a higher-power appliance to this converter at LO setting, the transformer's iron core will become saturated. This results in runaway input current, which may then cause overheating.

At `HI' setting (up to 1875 Watt), the converter simply uses an electronic switch to 'chop' the 220V sinusoidal input voltage into smaller segments, such that the average power delivered to output load is reduced. This is the same principle used by most incandescent lamp dimmers. It works reasonably well for simple HEATING appliances, such as travel irons or hair dryers. But if you try to power any electronic appliance that is rated for 110V-only at this setting, the high-voltage stress will likely cause the appliance to break down and burn out within seconds!

This is not to say that this product is completely useless, only that you have to be EXTREMELY careful about what you can plug in at each setting. Unfortunately, some appliances fall into the grey area between 'heating' and 'electronic'. For example, most people will classify a curling iron (hair straightener) as a heating appliance. Yet it contains electronic circuit and its power consumption is higher than 25W, which means neither high nor low settings can be used.

The good news is that most portable electronics (such as chargers for cameras, cell phones, laptops, etc) are already designed to handle universal input voltage. Check the AC adapter of your appliance to make sure. If it says "Input: 100 240V AC", then you don't have to use a voltage converter at all. All you need is a set of adapter plugs (such as the inexpensive Travel Smart Polarized Adapter Plug 5 Piece Set), which allows you to physically plug into AC outlets in other countries, and you are good to go.

When I initially saw this clip, I loved the beautiful colors and great price, so I bought it, even though it's not the type thing I wear a lot. It took almost two months before I received it, and upon opening it, was disappointed to find that the beautiful colors I had loved were not there. Instead, all but about four of the stones were an unattractive shade of red. But by far the biggest disappointment came when I opened the little bag the clip was in, and the clip part under the peacock was broken completely in two. Shellac is a UV light cured gel polish that lasts about two weeks. I have used OPI's Axxium gel polish and it destroyed my nails. I now use Shellac. This top coat goes on easily and cures quickly under the UV lamp. TO HARDEN AFTER CURING, USE HIGH PROOF RUBBING ALCOHOL TO CLEAN EACH NAIL. IF YOU DON'T DO THIS THE NAIL WILL BE STICKY. One item of mention is that to remove you need to use an acetone nail "wrap" for about 20 min to get the polish to come off easily. I make my own "wraps" by soaking cotton balls with acetone, placing the ball on my nail and covering with a 4 inch square of aluminum foil. Wait 20 minutes and the polish peels off like magic with no nail damage. Although this system takes more time compared to regular polish, it is long wearing under harsh conditions. The only reason you can't get more than two weeks out of a single coat of polish is because your nails will grow out.

I ordered all my UV polishes and the UV lamp from Amazon. I can't believe salons charge $30-$40 a pop for a gel manicure, that I can now do at home for free!

Edit: Having now used my UV polishes and lamp numerous times, I have to say I love the gel polishes! It took me a few tries to get my manicure perfect, but I'm a pro now (I think). Some key points:

The base coat/polish/top coat will not dry without the UV lamp. This is great, because if you screw up a nail you can just wipe it off and start over. Also, you can run the brush over the nail as many times as necessary to smooth the polish without worrying about it drying/clumping. Also, be sure to remove any excess polish you get on your skin before you cure with the lamp.

The gel polishes are great for fixing a split/broken nail! Whereas before, if I split a nail, I had to cut it off, now I can mend the split with the gel polish. This stuff is strong and dries hard and essentially repairs the nail until the split grows out. HUGE plus for me as I am always breaking nails

Sometimes I get bored with the shellac colors and want to use my OPI or China Glaze polishes, but still want the strength of the gel polish. I found I can use the UV base coat, cure for 30 sec., then put the UV top coat on over it (cure for 2 min). After it's cured, I use rubbing alcohol to remove the sticky layer. I now have a strong, clear, gel base coat. I can now apply my other polish and then top off with my regular top cat. Fantastic! And it seems my regular polish lasts longer on my nails (maybe it sticks to the gel better?)

Anyhow, hope these tips help! If you are paying for gel polish at a salon, you really need to stop and buy the lamp/polishes!

I'm giving 5 stars to the whole Shellac system (Base Coat, Color Coat and Top Coat) as it only works when used together. It helps if you apply a light coat of bonder on the nail bed. Then apply the Shellac base coat and cure. Then the colour coat and cure. I have unruly curly hair and finally decided to splurge on a nice hairdryer. It works pretty well, and my hair seems healthy, but it was not the "super dryer" I was expecting.

Cons: heavy, DOES NOT HAVE DIFFUSER for curly hair, cheap design (the air filter seems flimsy and I have seen some people taping the filter on for stability).

Pros: doesn't dry out hair cuticle (still waiting for proof), extra long cord.

I haven't owned many hairdryers, but I don't think the price was worth the product.

Wow, I've been using remy hair for almost four years and before that the best human hair out. I recently started ordering the virgin remy hair from boutiques. I tried tis hair because I needed to get something fast and the boutiques always take long. I hate it. It sheds, it tangles, omg. I got two packs,one of a 1b and on4/30 the mixed color is the one that is mainly giving me issues. I just put it in 3 days ago. Omg I hate this hair for the money that charge this is crazy. Im used to keeping hair in for up to 3 month and it looking great still will I take it out. I dont know what's gonna happen with this. So disappointed. I have fine, thin hair with a natural wave to it. I use a few passes of a flat iron to straighten/smooth my bangs and any small twists or waves in my hair from blow drying. I used an older T3 flat iron for many years and loved it because it left my hair smooth and shiny without using any hair products. After I accidentally fried my old T3 in Europe, I picked this one up thinking I would get the same quality from the same brand. However, even on the low temperature settings with light passes, this iron seems to be a lot harder on my hair and never leaves it with a polished look. After I had been using this iron for about 4 months, my hairdresser pointed out to me the places where my hair had clearly been burnt and was breaking from my flat iron -an issue I never had before. I also dislike the fact that the temperature settings are just marked 1-4, rather than what the actual temperatures are, unlike my old T3. I would never take a chance on another T3 iron after this one.

I've been an old school curling iron kinda gal (hey, it's not my fault I grew up as a teen in the 1980's), and finally got tired of trying to use a curling iron to smooth my hair, and of course, get the creases. Just a mess. I recently purchased a T3 hairdryer, and love it, so thought I would try a T3 flat iron. The product is substantial, does not feel cheap, and was quick and simple to use. It truly did take a single pass through my wavy hair to smooth it out, without overheating or frying my hair. Great product!

I bought this item and all I can say is that it is not worth it.. When it arrived it never worked, then I realized they don't give you the option to return it from Amazon easily. You have to contact the seller and you have to pay for the shipping cost in order to get a refund.. Unbelievable that they charge you for an item that was defective in order to return it!!!

Please do not purchase from this vendor. The iron does not work after the first use, it just keeps shutting off and sounds like it is shorting. It was sent to me in a direct tv box! The iron box was not sealed, it was as if they had sent me a defective product already having opened it. I have been a customer of Amazon for years and have never had an issue. I tried this iron when a friend visited me her iron was great! Purchase from a known seller such as sephora. It is as the old saying goes you really get what you pay for. I have never written a poor review but this product seller merits this...like one of the reviews said "shady"...I would have to agree! Please spend the extra and purchase an iron that works!

So I bought this flat iron at the recommendation of my hair stylist. Personally I loved this flat iron. It makes my hair feel amazing, and gets it perfectly straight. I normally have very curly hair, so this is a big thing for me. My biggest problem though is that I went through 2 flat irons in a year because it broke exactly in the same spot. For $125, the materials for the flat iron should not be as easily breakable as it is. This is coming from a person who takes very good care of her tools, and normally goes through flat irons every 3-4 years. I'm very disappointed in this product and will be looking around for another flat iron.

This blow dryer looks great, but it's just a lot of hair, and not even hot air. It was 3 heat settings a,d 3 power settings. the high setting is barely hot, so you can't mold hair, the middle temp setting is just slightly cooler than that, and also useless. The blow dryer is extremely powerful, so if you try to use it on the most powerful setting, your hair is gonna blow all over the place. So you have to leave it in the middle setting, which is also a bit too strong. Overall, after reading countless of reviews for this and other blow dryers, i thought i had found the perfect one, but no... my $18 Walgreen's blow dryer was more efficient. That's sad.

The best bow dryer ive ever put my hands on im a professional Barber and i was thinking of buying a compressor for blowing hair off my clients but this thing has exceptional great power with easy use buttons of cold warm and hot. The plug is verry smaller than normal blow dryer plugs witch is a bounce the cord isent bulk it is exclent. I will not be needing a $300 dollar compressor this thing is srond enoughf and not even that loud. Its great. As for as long life im not shure but cuz i recently got it but it seems to be a very well built. It includes 2 attachments and in store prices $180 Amazon.com prices is a bonus i hope this helps you guys make a decision dont look no more this is the one ONE.

These are WAY too long for my nails, even for fake nails I don't see how they would work. The smallest decal goes from my nail down to my knuckle. If you trim them they end up looking nothing like a peacock feather and more like you Tye-dyed your nails. I never thought I had small hands/nail beds, and my nails are grown out a pretty good length. I REALLY wanted these to work out, but they just don't.

It didn't come with instructions so I had to look up application info online. The pattern only works for long nails. But none of this mattered anyway because I could not get them to stick and/or smooth out over my acrylic nails. Went to a salon that does application and they told me these were "poor quality". Oh, well!
