My hair is short, straight, and a bit fine, so bad hair days are about flat, limp, and no body. But this stuff is truly amazing! I spray it on lightly before blow drying and my hair becomes thicker, shiny, full of body and life, and it not only lasts all day, it's still beautiful when I wake up the next morning! Honestly it's the best hair product I've ever found. A bit expensive, but worth every penny as far as I'm concerned. I've gotten so many compliments on my hair since using this; even my hairdresser asked what I was using. I never really loved my hair before, so it's great to do so! It looks natural but holds a general shape in wind and weather. A really good product.

After reading reviews on this product and seeing it used on What Not To Wear segments I decided to purchase. I have a lot of hair but it is a fine texture and brown highlighted with blonde. I find that most products are too heavy for my hair and discolor my highlights. This product was not heavy, did not change the color of my highlights, and my hair looked great all day. The next day my hair still looked good with only minor touchups and my layered chin length bob still had body and a defined shape. My hair is soft yet full of body. Great product with a mild scent that was not overpowering or offensive. Would highly recommend and will purchase again.

Okay I grew up seeing constant commercials about products that would make your hair thicker (and silkier).

I 'm old enough now to realize my hair is as thick as it'll ever be, but this is one of the few products I've tried that does give the appearance of more hair/volume.

My dirty little secret: I think I buy it as much for it's beautiful scent as I do for it's quality :-)

I have shoulder-length hair that is naturally curly with a fine texture. Because I live in a climate with almost no humidity, the weight of my hair often pulls out the curls near my roots and leaves my hair looking flat. After washing my hair, I spray this product on the crown and front of the top of my head (I use different products on the ends), comb it through, and then blowdry my hair upside down using a diffuser. The end result is significant volume at the crown with absolutely no stiffness, stickiness, or flaking. I highly recommend this product if you are looking for touchable volume that lasts all day! I also like that you can easily pour some of this product into a smaller spray bottle that meets carry-on requirements for air travel.

Cheap Fahrenheit - Heat Wave - Flat Iron (Zebra)

I received this flat iron as a gift from my best friend and I'm in love with it. I've had a flat iron a few years back, though it did the job, it left my hair feeling thicker and damaged. With this flat iron, my hair feels smooth and soft; it felt as if I hadn't even used the iron on it!

My hair can be considered thin; I'm Chinese, and Chinese girls have somewhat fine to thin hair. So, when I use this, I don't use the maximum heat level. It doesn't say the exact temperature of the heat because it's like one of those knobs where it just shows the lowest and the highest. My setting is around the middle, so the temperature should be around 250degrees; highest is 450 and lowest is 140. I tried using higher temperature but I don't like the feeling of my hair super hot.

Also, I use this to dry my hair in the middle of the night. Sometimes when I get home late and shower really late, I use this instead of a hair dryer to dry my hair; because hair dryers are loud and this is quiet. Even though I've used this on damp hair, my hair wasn't fried to a crisp. I set the temperature slightly less than the middle, so it was about 1/4th from 140degrees. Another reason that I love this flat iron.

Though there are a few Pro's about this flat iron, there are a few Con's as well.

Pros:

Quick heat up; takes about 30 seconds to heat up

Light indicator on the side

Smooth and easy to glide through hair

Long power cord

Swivel cord; makes it less likely to tangle up & won't rip if you wrap the cord around the iron

Leaves hair soft and smooth

Adds a bit of shine to my hair (personally it did)

Cons:

Tugs my hair a bit at the ends

Hard to curl hair with

The end of the iron (where the swivel cord is) can clip onto your skin (I've done that...it hurts a lot)

Back of the iron (where the zebra patterns are) gets heated

Takes long to cool off

I bought my Fahrenheit Titanium at TJMaxx for $30. I have very naturally curly crazy frizzy hair I was very skeptical because I have never spent so little on an Iron before. I had my CHI for 8 years and it worked great, I loved it, then the cord broke and I needed a new iron fast. I did a little research and decided I wanted a Titanium iron but couldn't afford a Babyliss (which is the best) so I picked this one up. I went straight to my friend's house and plugged in her brand new CHI ultra and my new Fahrenheit. My Fahrenheit heated up faster than the CHI. We then decided to do a one pass test with each iron. The CHI did the job but could use a couple more passes, but my Fahrenheit sealed the deal with one pass and left it softer and more shinny that the CHI. I like that you can change the heat setting and the non-slip grip will help me from dropping it. I also like that it has a small plug so I can have two styling tools plugged in at one time. BUY THIS FLAT IRON.... It's worth it!!!!!

Im not gonna lie I have only used it once, but being from a Nigerian/Caribbean background my hair is VERY kinky, and pretty long as well! Someone recently bought me this straightener as a graduation gift, and I used it on MEDIUM setting and was able to straighten my hair in a matter of 30-40 minutes. Even at the hair salon it takes them an hour and a half just to get it looking this way. It bounces and is extremely silky, and no one would ever believe I have kinky hair! Its insane! I usually buy those 15 dollar Conair ones but you definitely get what you pay for. I am so happy with my Zebra flat iron! [=

Heats up extremely quickly

Locks in hair's natural oils, so it makes your look extremely glossy.

Cons

Takes about 5 minutes to cool down, which is definitely NO BIGGIE

After first use, the plates fell out. Should have known better and returned it, but didn't want the hassle. So now the plate cracked and the crap company (Cortex USA)says I have to pay $25 for shipping to replace a defective product!! And then they are cocky about it! Buy something else from another company and save yourself the hassle!

I purchased this product about 6 weeks ago. Seemed similar in description to some of the other Stand-Up hair dryers and the price seemed reasonable enough to take a chance on the purchase, as there were no other reviews. I've been very happy with the purchase so far. The dryer is very quiet. I can listen to the TV or have a normal conversation while my hair is drying. I am African American with very thick shoulder length hair. It dried my hair perfectly giving me moist and bouncy curls no different from that received at a professional salon. I've used it both on my own and it was also used with my beautician. My beautician has recently started a mobile business and has been coming to my home to do my hair. She liked it so much that she has also decided to purchase one for her own use, as well.

I would have given it 5-stars, except that I broke the plastic knob on the timer. It was mostly my own fault, as I turned it past the max-time. However, I still think that the plastic was a bit too flimsy and it should not have cracked so easily. It still works fine and I plan to try to just buy another knob. Nevertheless, the rest of the unit appears to be very sturdily made. Others have mentioned the the bonnet broke easily on similar models. This one doesn't appear to have that problem. It rolls easily, heats evenly and comfortably. Its also pretty easy to put together and adjust the height. Almost forgot, this one also has the very loud bell which rings when the timer is done....nearly jumped out of my chair. At least, you won't oversleep.

I bought this dryer to be able to get away from drying my hair using round brushes. I am very happy with the quality of the dryer. It is easy to roll around and easy to adjust in height to whatever chair I am using. It dries my hair very quickly (about 20 minutes on rollers) and leaves it shiny and bouncy. It appears to be durable enough to last a long time, with gentle handling of the controls which allow temperature settings and dryer time. I didn't have any problems with packing tape or flimsy controls. The instructions were a little strange, using words like "horses" referring to the crosspieces and "desuccate" which I had to google to find out it means to cross in the form of an x so the instructions must have been written by someone who speaks and writes in other than American English. The assembly was minimal after clearing up some questions about the meanings of words. I am pretty picky about the quality of items that I buy and I highly recommend this dryer.

The only thing I dislike about the floor bonnet was the packing tape on the clear plastic. Could not get it off left a stickey residue and ruined the finish with goo gone it looks terrible and I like things (especially new things that I just purchased to look nice.) Perhaps you should use another type tape and not allow this to happen to someone else. It works great but looks terrible. JUST SAYING.

I have long dry frizzie hair. I use a lot of hair serum. My hair dressers uses organic highlighting products on my hair and told me about this hairdryer. So I went on line looked at the price said, "wow". Sent her the link, she highly recomended this one which she uses in her salon. It was worth every penny. One day I did not use hair serium, dried my hair as usual in half the time and my hair was frizz free, smooth and so soft. Amazing and unbelievable in the same sentence. I text my friend and told this to her. She said, 'This is why I recommended this brand to you." This hair dryer alleviated a lifetime of hair problems. I was not pleased with my hair/frizz and could not find a hair product to releive all the frizz. Who knew it was the hairdryer's I had been using. She mentioned it is an investment and I will have it for years. I usually purchase a new hairdryer every year. So this actually saved me money with beneficial results. The only down fall was it did not come with the two attachments, it only came with one.

It takes some getting used to but it seems to work okso far. I really liked the one that preceeded this one but they don't make it anymore. This one is a little on the bulky sideand it's often not worth it to try to rotate the attachments which will be very hot while in use. I've been using this product for many years. It makes my long frizzy thick and wavy hair less frizzy than the salon. It takes a bit of getting used to at first, but it works great. I section off my hair use the dryer, then a round brush to make sure it's completely dry before I use a straightening iron lightly. Then I move on to the next section. I have to replace it after a few years of repeatedly dropping in on a hard floor and the pieces eventually break. I recommend this product highly.

I bought this flat iron about 6 months ago when I cut my hair short, and it's so amazing! It does not fry my hair AT ALL, makes it soooo straight, and easy to manage. It works quickly, just run it through and 'go'. It's very easy to use (the dial control is a bit difficult to see, it's between the handles, but that makes it hard to accidentally change to a higher setting, too, so that's good) and easy to store, etc.

I use it with the Soya Want Flat Hair flat iron spray, and vary the other Soya products. It looks GREAT, and now I'm back to buy two more for my teenaged daughters. It does get hot, though--so beware. I use it at about 1/2 power and it's just perfect.

This is a great blow dryer and I have been on the hunt for years! I have tried several and have never been happy until NOW!! Yes, it is expensive, but it dries my hair faster than any other product and doesn't leave it frizzy or unhealthy looking. Also, it is very quiet which is a huge issue to me. Lightweight (also something I was looking for), very long cord (which I don't need, but some people like) that is the heaviest part on this product. The high setting is great not too burning hot, but perfect and the low setting is perfect for styling with a brush. Anyway, LOVE IT!!

My hair has a natural wave, is fine to normal,and super frizzy. The fact that I live in Virginia where the climate is super humid in the summer, definitely does not help with the frizz. I have tried countless expensive hair products that have claimed to wipe out frizz only to have been disappointed that they were less than they promised to be...not to mention wasting the money that I shelled out even though it was way more than I normally would spend, but did so only because I am exhausted of this constant battle of frizz.

I only ran across this product because my sister had left it behind after visiting, and once I learned how to use it, it gave me VERY satisfying results. This product is for styling when using flat irons and curling irons. I also pair it with the PROTECT calming serum by Warren Tricomi which smells divine. When you spray it in your hair, it's almost like putting hairspray in your hair, which can be a little scary if you don't know what to expect. That's where the Protect calming serum comes in...this will not only protect from heat styling, but will help to guide your styling tools through your hair with ease. Also, in my experience with this product, the less you brush your hair after styling the better. And the outcome...SHINY SATIN.

Now having said that, I do not believe ANY product aside from a chemical straightner could ever COMPLETELY combat the EXTREME humidity that I am exposed to every day. So if you live in this sort of climate, you may have a few fly-aways BUT ONLY A FEW. And if you live in dry heat or if it's winter you will be THRILLED with the results! I am over the moon happy with this one..hope this helps! ;-)
