I got a haircut that requires some blow drying and wanted an upgrade from the travel size piece of crap I had before. My stylist tried to get me to buy one from her for fifty to sixty bucks no thanks. I am an amateur when it comes to blow dryers and honestly I had no idea what to look for except for something with good reviews. After using it a few times, I can't believe I ever used the other one. The motor on it doesn't screech, which is wonderful. I use the warm setting on low and its perfect doesn't burn my scalp like other dryers have. I am using it with the pick attachment (new to me) and it really does make a difference with hair volume. I used to hate blow drying my hair but with this thing its a breeze and my hair looks a lot better than air dried.

I really like this hair dryer. I read the reviews at Amazon.com before I made the purchase, which made me aware of some cons of the hair dryer.

I found those cons to be negligible overall. I had a Conair 1875 before and used it to death. This one is just a better version of what I had before. Granted, it does not get as hot, but my hair feels better for it. After styling, my hair feels very smooth and shiny. I am very pleased with both attachments and the attachment lock on the dryer. My old one did not have that option, and the attachments would fall off while in use. I also like that this dryer is smaller than my old one and weighs about the same. I would definitely recommend this product.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Conair 276 is like bringing the Salon home with you. I love the ionizing attachment that runs thru my hair like a comb drying and fluffing it from the roots outwards. It has a sleek design and fits easily into my suitcase for easy portability.

It is far more powerful that other hand dryers I've used in the past. I can be done with styling my hair to my satiesfaction in less than 10 minutes. Very important when you're running late for work as I do in the mornings.

Its very easy to switch the attachments from the Ionizer to the concentrated Blower attachement. There are three heat and two speed settings that meet any hair emergency you might have. There is a convenient filter that can be removed that help keeps hair and lint out of the motor insuring a longer life. It's slso light weight so that it won't feel like your working out with dumbells like you do with bigger dryers.

I enjoy styling with mine and I know you will too!

I've only used blow dryers in the past when it was cold outside and I really needed to dry my hair before going out into the tundra. So it was really for my health, not beauty. Occasionally, I would use a diffuser to get a nice spirally curl. This device has brought my beauty regimen to a whole new level. First of all, I love that it has so many different settings on it low, med, and high plus warm, warmer, and hot, and even a cold setting if you need just cold air! So people with fine, delicate hair like mine can put it on a very light setting and not feel like I'm singing my hair or face. If you do have thick hair, or medium hair, or anything there is a setting for you! Secondly, this attachment is incredible. I had no idea what it was about so I watched a video. You put this right up to your hair and lift it slightly upward as you blow dry and it gives your hair incredible body without the frizz.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this thing! My old blow dryer went straight to good will. Finally, I have a hair dryer for the 21st Century!

I opened the unit with more skepticism; it was somewhat heavy and it had an attachment that looked like a number of scary plastic sticks on a base that attached to a fairly standard-looking hair dryer. However, within two minutes of using the dryer and attachment on freshly washed damp hair I was blown away (not literally!) My hair is medium (between fine and thick) texture, straight, and usually a nightmare to dry, due to my impatience, generalized ineptitude with using a round styling brush and dryer simultaneously, and tendency to sweat profusely from a hot Sahara blast of wind, and the way a dryer makes my hair feel and lookfried. This dryer solved every aforementioned problem. The airdirected flow dried my hair in 1/3 the normal time. The volumizing tines made me feel as if I had a talented stylist drying my hair rather than my usual approach of giving up and allowing the dryer to blow my hair helter-skelter in a hot gust. I didn't have a single sweat gland activated since the dryer directed the flow to the hair, not my upper body. My hair looked luxuriously healthy and not at all crispy. This is an absolute piece of genius. I simply can't believe what a great buy this is. Believe the hypefor once it's all real! There is also an air concentrator attachment, and a wide range of temperature/speed settings including a "cold shot" setting that locks in your final hairstyle. My only commentary is that with its heavy motor and attachments it is a bit more hefty than a standard dryer. However, considering the savings in time, it's worth building your biceps for volumized, va-voom hair!

These are good if you are not heat setting your hair. The rollers collapse in the middle when they become too hot. And once they've been heated the ends pop off very easily.

It works if you want to dry with a blow dryer or have it on, but definitely not for sleeping. If you air dry it will take a bit more than an hour to 2 hours, so it wasn;t as quick as I originally thought. It brings plenty of curlers and you have to be careful to not end up with too much curl that it looks like a wig. XD

I just got into the whole weave thing about 2 years ago, and although I still have much to learn about weaves I know good hair when I see it. I usually buy the First Remy hair by Bobbi Boss and was very impressed. But I decided to change and go for something new (Cuticle Remy XQ-NP4/30) and all I have to say is....Horrible. The color is absolutely gorgeous but it sheds and tangles easily. I'm not sure if it has anyting to do with the color but for the price and length of use; I am very dissapointed. From now on I will stick to my First Remy.

I've used all types of hair but this hair I absolutely love. I've had it in for 3 months and it still looks great. I had no shedding until the first wash, but still the shedding was minimal. I'm not sure why there's so many bad reviews but maybe you weave isn't being done correctly or your not taking proper care of your hair. Also, I wash and condition the hair as if it was my own.

I've had this hair in for about 4 months and it only started shedding in the third month, and not as excessive as some brands I've had in the past! I don't do put any oils in this hair because you don't need it! I only use a straightener on it! The hair for me (1B) has been amazing! I've gotten numerous comments on it, and am getting ready to take it out! I've only had to wash it three times and it bounces back every time! As for tangling have never had it! This hair hasn't tangled on me in month four! And trust me I'm used to tangling and having to constantly run my hands through my hair in the past! I've had no problems w/ it, but I also haven't bought this hair from a beauty store. I've learned many beauty stores keep very good hair (in terms of the brand) in their shops sometimes for over a year just sitting on the shelf! If the hair is 1-2 years and has been sitting in a box I don't expect it to be good once I've taken it home, and haven't learned that the hair is no good until I put it in my hair! Personally, I swear by this hair, some people love it or hate it. And honestly, the way some people take care of it ruins the hair as well. I also don't use anything on this hair besides a comb, and I have two one wide to comb it out, and a skinnier comb to style my hairthat's it! Hope this was helpful! OH and also, this hair flows in month four almost exactly like it did when I first put it in, and I can't say that about any other brand of hair I've used!

Ok...I should have read the reviews on this hair before purchasing it. OMG I've had plenty of remy hair before and never had they ever shed crazy like this hair had. I order 2 packs of 12 inches color 1B natural yaky online and the hair was beautiful of course for about a week then after that it started to tangle and shed like crazy. It was ridiculous shedding. I mean I would be laying in the bed with my boyfriend and it would be strands of hair from the weft on my pillow like omg he would just say babe take it out and just start all back over lol. I was so embarrassed brushing my hair in public because all of the hair was basically in my paddle brush. I couldn't believe how much this hair shed I would have clumps of hair coming out even if I combed it through with my hands. I wrapped my hair every night and washed it twice, once every week and just took it out the 3rd week I couldn't take it no more.

I don't know if I just had a bad bag(s) or because I cut the wefts or what. I was just so disappointed with this hair. I will probably try this hair one more time but I will seal the wefts and I won't cut the wefts next time just so I can see if it would be a difference for minimum shedding.

The Solano is alright, I guess, if you just want a basic hair dryer. It's not particularly light or quiet which were two of the features that I was interested in. Also, it's not ionic and takes a long time to dry hair. My hair is not that thick and it took a good while to dry it, much longer than my regular drugstore Conair, which I went back to after returning this thing. And it didn't leave it very shiny either. For the price, I would go with a different dryer, unless you've used this product and know that you like it.

I borrowed my sister-in-law's hairdryer while visiting her and fell in love with this hairdryer. I immediately came home and bought one on Amazon.com. I have very thick hair and it normally takes a long time to dry. This blowdryer is very fast drying and has all the settings you could ever need. The cord is super-long. This comes in very handy when trying to dry my two year old's hair as she moves all over the bathroom! It's a little heavy, but that's the price you pay for the power in it. I don't find it uncomfortable in any way. I highly recommend this hairdryer and am hoping that it lasts. I have only had it 2 months so far. Last time I got my haircut, I realized that my hairdresser was using the same hairdryer on me and the place I go to actually sells them (but it was slightly more than what I paid on Amazon).

I purchased the T3 Tourmaline 83415 Narrow Duality Professional Ionic 1 Inch Ceramic Styling Iron. Within 30 days the Styling Iron quit working. It would just shut off. I thought at first it was an electrical problem with my outlet. But it kept doing it, everytime I used it. It would work for 5 minutes and then shut off. So I called Amazon and let them know. I recieved a different one. I am not sure if it will continue to work or will have the same problem. Amazon took a long time for them to send a postage paid sticker so I could send the old one back. I had to call Amazon several times. When you buy this product from Amazon it says it is brand new. But they have cut off the serial number off this product and the warrenty with the company is no good. If your product quits working, you are screwed. I emailed T3 and they said sometimes companys like this are actually referbished products. Products that stoped working and a person fixes them. It is a better idea to just spend the extra money and buy from a authorized dealer.

While iron gets very hot (410 degrees I have coarse/kinky hair), does not seem to flatten/straighten hair with silkeness/shine that other ionic irons that I have used in the past do. Also generates a rather unpleasant odor.

I stay quite frequently at the Hyatt Lodge in Oak Brook, IL, and I've always just loved their in-room hair dryers (Andis 80020 Ionic 1875W Ceramic Hair Dryer with Folding Handle and Retractable Cord). No other hotel I've ever stayed in (and I've stayed in quite a few) has a hair dryer that's as good, both in terms of performance and in terms of results.

So when I needed a new hair dryer, I thought I'd like to try an Andis for use at home, and when I read the reviews, I decided to try this one because it's lightweight, and because let's face it the red color is really cool (at least IMHO).

What I like: very light weight, comfortable handle, nice l-o-n-g cord, dries my hair really fast definitely faster than my old dryer. When I'm done, my hair's soft and looks shiny (shinier, I think, than with the old dryer). Another nice feature is the removable lint filter on the back of the unit, should make it easier to keep accumulations of lint and dust out of the dryer (that seems to have been the death of all my previous dryers).

What I don't like so much: at times it gets uncomfortably hot on the "high" setting, and another, intermediate setting in between the high and the low or an option to "fine-tune" the temperature, rather than just have a high and a low setting (plus, of course, the cool shot) would be nice. That's really my only complaint.

Update: it seems that my dryer was defective, which was probably the reason why it got uncomfortably hot. After about a month of use, it simply died on me. I contacted Amazon.com (excellent and very responsive customer service, BTW), and they had a replacement to me by the very next day, and the "uncomfortably hot" issue has been resolved.

Bottom line: I really like it, love the color, and I thought it was a good value for the price.

If you're getting this because of the comb attachment, this is not the dryer for you. For those of us who have thick curly hair and actually need to use the comb attachment, you'll find yourself constantly having to re-start the dryer because of the high/off/lo switch being pushed. There is no way to hold this dryer while using the comb attachment that does not cause you to either toggle the switch or press the cool shot. Other than that annoyance though, it worked well.

I researched many sites and brands before I purchased this hair dryer. I must admit I was initially attracted to the red color but then was impressed with the other attributes. My hair is relatively short and fine. I need a dryer to help give my hair body and this one does it very well. I like the attatchment that can be used as a comb since it can be used with one hand; I recently had elbow surgery so this enables me to dry my hair with one hand. It is heavy enough to feel substantial but light enough that I am comfortable using it in my non-dominant hand.

This is the 1st item I've returned to Amazon. I hated this dryer!!!. The "cool" shot button only cooled the temperature to what would be considered "medium" on any other hair dryer. There is no other temperature adjustment on this dryer. Without using the cool shot button the temperature was VERY hot and damaged my newly chemically processed hair.

The only good thing was Amazon was great with the return process!
