The dryer works and it is easy to assemble. There is two speed and two (not 4) heat settings and then there this Ion knob can bet either on or off. They must be adding this Ion knob to euphemistically call it 4 heat settings. The unis is OK and it works. WE have had it only for monh. Most great dryers have a interlocking switch with the from the front visor, so that when you lift the visor the unit turns off. This one does not do that. It is a nice feature to have. This unit is an inexpensive unit and is good value for the money. It could have been a great unit with few minor enhancements.

I couldn't be happier!! I got a $200.00 professional hair dryer for $35.00 and NO tax and NO shipping, that is amazing! I would NEVER spend $200.00 for a hair dryer that is just riduclious, but getting this one for $35.00 was great. I was so excited about it that I've gotten 3 of my friends and my daughter to get one, although the next week when they purchased their's it had gone up $10.00:-( I was thinking that deals like this are worth buying now, to save for Christmas!
Oh as far as preformance, I love the controls they are very easy on the fingers. It's much lighter weight than the one I had previously, and the extra long cord is great. The extra bling that they put on it puts this dryer over the top and I LOVE it!!
It dries my hair quickly (and that's something to say, as my hair takes "forever" to dry) and the "hot" setting is truly HOT and is great for styling. The edge of the filter has little rhinestones on it, and it comes with a small rhinestone coated keychain in the shape of a hair dryer. While this bling is cute, and probably sells dryers as an impulse buy, but I'm more practical and would rather have saved the extra money that was put into these little blings, but that's just me.
Not a bad dryer--not a professional Chi, but still a nice dryer. Worth the 49 dollars for sure.

My Chi finally blew up so I needed to replace it, and with the price on this 1900 watt positively ionic dryer, I had to give it a try. It's not as heavy duty as my Chi was, but this is a fine dryer for the price. I ordered the hairdryer and flat iron combo pack and when the flat iron stopped working 6 weeks after I purchased it, I contacted the seller, who refused to replace it. They did tell me that I could send it back to the manufacturer to have it replaced by them, and when I said that it wouldn't be worth me shipping it to the UK to Babyliss, they said "oh it's actually a Conair product and you would send it to them in the US". So, save yourself money and go to Target and purchase a Conair hair dryer. At least when it breaks, you can easily return it. Well I normally wash my hair when I receive it. This hair had black rinse of some type on it. When I washed it the shampoo lather was jet black. That tells me it isnt true remy hair. Remy hair has no chemicals or processing. I was disappointed as I normally lighten the hair to a brown but I am afraid it may damage the hair now that I know it has color on it. A few years ago someone gave me a "turbie" brand hair turban as a gift. I thought they'd lost their marbles, because what was I going to do with a hair turban?Apparently a lot, because I can't live without one. I wore that turban into the ground and it got so bad even my boyfriend had considered buying me a new one all on his own because he was sick of looking at my sad little worn out one. But I beat him to it and ordered this. I don't love pink and would prefer a darker color, but other then that it's just what I wanted. Nice material, comfortable to wear. It's really nice to use when you're running around and keeps your wet hair out of your face. I'm not looking for anything that dries my hair any faster, since I air dry anyway. When I ordered this, I was under the impression that it would help my hair dry more quickly. It held my hair securely in place and was far less bulky than the bath towel I usually use, but my hair stayed much wetter than when I wrap it in a towel. Still, I prefer this to a towel because it holds my hair so securely.

I decided to try the IC Fantasia Heat Protectant to help protect my hair when I blow dry or flat iron it. I am really satisfied with it so far. My hair doesn't feel fried and crunchy like it used to when I used heat before. But BEWARE, a little goes a LONG WAY. If you section off your hair into 4 or more sections depending on the thickness of your hair; all you need is a dime size drop(or less). Any more and you run the risk of looking greasy and weighed down instead of healthy and shiny.

I am 4B Natural, exactly like the cellist Esperanza Spalding, hair that is soft, cottony, perfect for afros and grows OUT not DOWN, and reverts if there is a drop of moisture in the air, but I'm learning to live with it. Everyone raves about how good the serum is ; and after paying $18.00 for 2 oz of Chi I was leary...So what I did, I bought the IC Serum and the IC spray (check out that review) I used the spray first then the next shampoo and blow dry I used the Serum and I LOVE IT! Smells nice too.You just need a drop I do a two strand twist and let it dry naturally with some serum. I then press my hair and the product is just fantastic. This product is very good on my natural 4c hair. Here's how I use it: I wash my hair with coconut milk Organix shampoo and conditioner. Then I section my hair off in about 8 parts and I towel dry every section very well from roots to ends, then apply this heat protector on a section, combing it and brushing it, you'll see your hair stretch more than its natural state, that's what this product does. Once it's fully stretched with the IC protector (using my hand and a brush), I apply some ampro bees wax to the section and stretch it some more with my hands and brush before braiding or twisting that section. I continue with the rest of my hair until I have about 8 fully stretched, big braids. Then, I can either slightly dry my braids using a blow dryer (that's less heat damage compared to blow drying each section), just blowing heat throughout my head, or just let it air dry overnight. The next morning, I undo the braids and voilà! I have very fluffy, curl (or wave) defined hair which I can let loose. Before going to bed every night, make sure you re-braid the hair in sections and make the braids a little tight. The bees wax helps keep humidity out of your hair and reduce shrinkage. I've been trying to relax my hair only twice a year, my hair was dry, brittle and breaking. I used this after my hot oil treatment and deep conditions. Before I blow dried my hair I felt the difference, it was soft, after the blow dry, i was surprised by how healthy it felt, but when I flat iron it, OMG my hair felt happy and looked and felt like I had a fresh relaxer. I love love love this product, now I can more than stretch my relaxer.

There is nothing like these hair dryers in the USA. My mom was looking around for a new hair dryer but kept on finding products that never satisfied. She mentioned to me that she wanted to get one of those old hair dryers we had when I was a kid--one of these Panasonic hair dryers from Taiwan. I got this and it is just like the ones we had back then. They are easy to use with the blower/brush combo and prevents your hair from blowing in the wrong direction. There are two modes that are "blow" and "set". It is also extremely gentle for our fine hair.
A plus with this particular model is that you don't need a power converter--just switch between 100/120 and 200/240 depending on where your location is in the world. The manual that comes with this product is mostly in Japanese--but! there is a portion in English, so be sure to read that part so that you can use this tool properly.
One downside... the price. I wish it was more affordable because this is really a great product.

I bought a Tescom hair dryer almost 10 years ago from a Japanese chain that is locally owned where I live, very similar to this one except without the extra styling attachment. That had been the best hair dryer I had owned, and the American market doesn't have any (nothing of the same quality at least) as the one I'd had. So after a good nearly 10 years, the Tescom retired itself and I needed a replacement. I did a search for the same brand and several Panasonics came up. Panasonic in Japan makes great quality products so after a little searching and looking through reviews I ordered this model mainly because of the adjustable styling brush AND it was dual voltage (I'd hate to have to get a voltage converter for something that is everyday use). This hair dryer is way better than the one I'd had for so long and I love it! Great for styling my bangs and giving my layers a little bit of body and slight curl at the ends. I bought this because I could not use my Conair Infiniti pro hot brush when I travel to other country. Fortunately, this performs much better than the conair hot brush. Aside from providing me a good styled-hair, my hair also shines better after using this. This product is very durable, it shows on the design. I've been using this regularly for three months now.

So, everything about this hairdryer was what I expected apart from the weight. I thought it might be a little heavy for travelling, but it is actually the heaviest hairdryer I have ever owned!! and bulky to hold. This is obviously a negative if you do want to travel with it. I bought my Babyliss Pro Nano Titanium Torino hair dryer in September of 2011. This is my second dryer in four years. It is a fabulous dryer and dries my hair quickly leaving it shiny. However, after two years of using it maybe four days a week, for 20 minutes at a time, it just up and quit working. I would think that a dryer that is this expensive (would be if not bought on Amazon) would last longer than two years at minimal useage. I am now wondering if this dryer is actually made by Conair as stated on the box but is actually a knockoff? I have read reviews on Amazon on other products (the Otterbox for cell phones) and people researched their defective items and found out that Amazon is selling knockoffs (maybe unintentionally, but still). This type a hair dryer is a must have. Don't waste money on the cheaper models. I'm 50+ and never knew my coarse moderately wavy hair could settle down after a shampoo. The thing is, is it closes up the hair cuticle and smoothes each and every hair. My hair dries in approx 1/3 the time, AND my daughter (who I bought one for too) swears her hair is much less oily, and stays clean feeling longer, and I have to say I agree. With care, and avoiding dropping it, it should last years. But if it does crater, I will buy another one. the power of the blow dryer is amazing, i just dont understand why the nozzle moves so much. it gets a tad bit annoying while i'm blow drying a clients hair.
