I am an African American with very long, very thick hair. I have more hair than anyone I know besides my Hispanic sister-in-law, who has a comparable amount. This spray is the bomb!!!! I spray this on and it brings such shine!

It is very light and smells great but of course i would suggest using it with my favorite rusk flat iron for best results.

This is great because it does not build up quickly, it smells like a salon, which is great. It protects, basically it does what it said it does. Also it is not greasy for my kind of wavy but also curly Caribbean hair. 3rd time ordered because it does not sell in stores.

I used to use Got2Be heat protection spray and could never really tell the difference. Once it ran out, I decided to try something new and read that Rusk doesn't test on animals, so I bought it. I could tell a change after the first time I used it! It makes my hair a lot shinier and silkier. It's also pretty cheap compared to many other brands. I got a little carried away a couple of times when spraying, and it made my hair oilier, so make sure you don't use too much!

I have owned many flat irons from CHI to Babyliss and this is a much better flat iron. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants professional results. One thing I love about this iron is I am able to curl and straighten my hair and it doesn't leave my hair frizzy like other flat irons. The packaging was really cute and the iron itself is light and fits perfectly in your hand. It heats up super quick so be careful. Love it, Thanks.

Ok, so I've been a GHD lover for about 10 years now. Convinced that they couldn't still be the best on the market for their price point and after doing copious online research, I decided to try the Karmin.

I found that the variable heat setting was a waste of time, unless it was on the hottest it didn't straighten hair anyway.

Even when it was on the hottest, it took twice as long to straighten my hair, we're talking 10 minutes for hair chin length and not even that thick!

The straightening did not last with the humid weather (not nearly as much as GHD does).

The handle heats up when you're holding it, making it quite uncomfortable.

Cord wraps around itself (tangle freeyeah right)

Lastly it doesn't beep when it's hot enough nor did it appear to have an auto shut down function.

Finally, after 2 months of being continually dissapointed for wasting my money and time on them trying to convince myself they are ok, I went and got some GHDs again and have been instantly reminded how awesome they are.

These are not the ooh-la-la revolutionary thing the blogs seem to say, they are no better than anything you can get at the appliance store for under $100.

I'm never going to make this mistake again. Going to give the Karmins to my little cousin, who doesn't need a proper straightener to use every day like I do.

I have very thick hair and it takes half the time it used to take with my old straightener. I had a sedu before this one and a chi before the sedu. I love it. The temp is adjustable which is great. Great product. Will definitely buy again if need to.

I have longish, thick hair that hates humidity. I live in California so as a solution (and lazyness) I wore my hair up with a band all summer. It destroyed the hair follicle and became a fuzzy mess. I went to my hair stylest and asked what to do. She said the only solution was to cut it off but when she styled it, it behaved. So she tried selling me a $345 hair dryer calling it "an investment." Even if I had the money, I think spending that amount of money on a blow dryer is ridiculous. So I went to amazon. Read all the reviews, which is always tricky, but took a chance on this guy. Never been happier with a "blind" purchase. Granted, I had the best blow dryer target can buy (prolly $40), but the difference is amazing. The diffuser smoothes my fuzzies, my hair is silky, and stays that way throughout the day, even with humidity/coastal weather. Don't want to say I never write reviews because everyone says that but felt it would be a disservice if I didn't. This review would have helped me while I was researching so there you go!

I am one of those people who didn't know any better and only used drugs store hair dryers. I have been getting the Japanese straight perm for many years every 6 months on my long (below the shoulder blades), slightly curly and thick Asian hair. I tried the top two best ones from Folica. I did not experience the significantly shiny hair that many people raved about at all unfortunately. My hair was less frizzy though. Here are the winners for the following categories:

weight: Sedu by far! The weight is the main reason I returned the Solia dryer. By the way, the cheapest return shipping fee through USPS with Delivery Confirmation Receipt is $12! Ouch.

airflow: Sedu. Even at the lowest setting, my hair was getting tangled and knotted like crazy with Solia. I also lost A LOT of hair after each hair drying session (double the usual amount). I don't want to go bald!

temperature: Solia. The cooler setting on the Solia was perfect for me. The warmer setting wasn't too hot. I don't think I'll ever use the hotter setting on the Sedu because the cooler setting was warm for me.

drying time: Tie. The time difference between the two was only like 3 minutes apart. Solia's 5 min vs. Sedu's 8 minutes.

Overall winner: Sedu.

I have always used hair dryers bought from Wal-Mart or Target. My old hair dryer died and living in a very humid climate, I decided to treat myself. I always had to style my hair after blow drying it, but with this hair dryer, I just dry and go! It's so fantastic and my hair feels so soft and healthy. My friend's husband asked me if I did something different with my hair, so when other men are noticing...it's a good product. Go for it! You'll save time and money in the long run.

This is the best dryer I have ever spent money on! The "Solia" 1875w. I usually don't spend this much money on a dryer, but it was worth it! It made such a difference in the shine and very soft. It also dried in half the time! I have long curly, dry, course hair. It didn't fry my hair dry. It's like wind-blown. Very pleased with the quality of this product. I spent $84 but Amazon has it for $79.99 with S&H.

My hair dresser told me years ago to buy a quality dryer, I'm 45, I wish I listened to her. Worth the money.

I bought this hair dryer as it had 2 heat settings and a multiple voltage. I can only get one of the heat settings to work and its very difficult to adjust the voltage. I bought the dryer as a travel dryer, however the cord is so thick and heavy it doesn't really equate to being a travel dryer.

I purchased this dryer because it claims to be ionic and has 1875 watts. It did have a great deal of power for its size and it dried my thick hair fairly quickly (not as quickly as my daily dryer, but good for a small dryer). I doubt the claims that this dryer is ionic because it always left my hair dry and frizzy, which is unusual for my hair.

The dryer started to have problems switching from high power to low power right away and now it has finally bit the dust and will not even turn. This is disappointing considering I only used it while traveling and it has seen little use. Oh well, now I can buy a better travel dryer and won't have to deal with the frizzy hair anymore!!

I didn't get this brush through Amazon, but I wanted to share my review of it because I love it so much.

The brush is simply amazing as my title says, it gives me salon quality blowouts at home. And it's better than a salon, because I can be gentle on my hair most hairdressers are extremely rough on hair when blow drying they pull it so tight and go over and over it with a hot blow dryer. With this brush, it helps to hold the hair taut, but not so taut that you can feel it pulling at your roots. I used to try to blow dry my hair with a round brush, but it was so hard to get my hair to stay in the brush and the results just would not look the same as when the HD did it. And so I would then spend time going over it with a very hot flat iron.

This brush is composed of two brushes with a hinge, like a flat iron. You hold your hair in between the brushes and follow it with the blow dryer. I don't really need to go over it with the flat iron, but I do quickly go over the layers around my face just to get them to sit how I like. If my layers were a bit nicer I probably wouldn't have to do this. I think this brush is the best thing ever for my dry damaged hair I can use my blowdryer on a medium heat setting and barely use my flat iron on it . I love this brush!!!

My hair is extremely curly (think pencil and Sharpie sized curls), and this product was a little rough on my hair. I think that if my hair were straighter, it would have done a remarkable job, but maybe not so good for curly hair because it tends to snag and get caught. Still giving it three stars because it would have done better if my hair were straight.

This brush is great! It smooths my hair and takes away the fuzz I used to get with other blow dryer brushes. I did not have the problem of my hair getting pulled or ripped out while using this product. This brush cut my drying time by 10 minutes and makes it a lot easier to straigten with my flat iron. It takes some time and cordination to get use to holding the brush with one hand and the blow dryer in the other; but once you do it's smooth sailing.
