I ordered this small package of soapnuts to give them a try before I committed to a big "economy" size and just came back to order the bigger package. I am very happy with them. They clean every bit as well as my old detergent (all free and clear) and are easy to use, the same price (actually cheaper in bulk) and of course all natural. I first found out about them thru researching washing cloth diapers. My baby isn't quit here yet so I really can't say definitively how well they will do, but they got very strong urine smells out of my 4 year old's sheets and blankets when he had an accident no problem.

This is a great product, and Naturoli's soap nuts are so easy to use, packaging is recyclable and minimal, yet makes a great gift for friends and family. I made the mistake of ordering the 40 load soap nuts. I should have listened to other customers who said to just go for the 4 pound bag of them. I ordered the 1/4 pound of soap nuts and am now working on a 4 pound bag of them. I have very hard water and a front load washer. I use 5 soap nuts for 4 loads and I am very happy with the results. Don't use cold water or you will be disappointed...only warm water will do. Oh, and don't expect suds...even without the chemical suds, your clothes will be clean, smell fresh, and be soft.

I ordered my nuts straight from the NaturOli web site and I couldn't be more pleased with them. I ordered them after making a horrible mistake and ordering from Maggie's first. The Maggie's nuts were my first set of soap nuts and what a TERRIBLE impression! They were black, tacky and wrapped in cellophane that apparently had water trapped in it. They had hardly any soap by the time they got to me.

I'm sooooo glad I decided to try again and order from NaturOli this time. The nuts they shipped me were a warm, golden brown, packaged in a cloth bag and just 5 nuts will do an entire weeks worth of laundry for me (5 loads, 4 washed in cold and 1 washed in hot). I was so pleased with the way the soap nuts cleaned my clothes that I ordered a years worth of nuts after my initial order got low and I'm shipping off 6 weeks worth to my mom to try!

Just a note: If you have embedded odors in your clothes already (armpit area, etc.) that reg laundry detergent just covered up, soaking the clothes in a vinegar/water solution for about an hour will help get the smell out. Because soap nuts have no fragrance you will notice the odors after washing with the soap nuts as the perfume will be washed out of your clothes but the smells it was covering up will remain set in the fabric. I was shocked at some of the odors regular laundry detergent had just covered up, but after the vinegar/water soak got the set in smells out the soap nuts have kept the odors gone (and I now use wool dryer balls, not dryer sheets, so there is NOTHING in my wash to cover up odors anymore).

I was turned on to soap nuts when I ordered a sample from Maggie's. So I bought more. The large bag I purchased from them were in a cellophane bag (inside a linen bag) and were a complete messy, sticky glob. I thought that's just how soap nuts were. Yes, they seemed to do an adequate job in the laundry, but were not very fun to touch. Then I tried Naturoli. These soap nuts are dry, clean, packaged in linen bags without the un-earth-friendly cellophane and do an amazing job at cleaning laundry. The price is good, packaging is superior, all literature is beautifully printed. Compared to Maggie's, it's like night and day. Choose the light choose Naturoli! Great for the environment and great for your laundry.

This is by far the best hairdryer I have ever used. I have a VERY sensitive scalp and after using my sisters hairdryer once I had a blistery rash on the back of my head, I never want to go through that again! This hairdryer BLOWS teehee, strong enough for my thick hair, distributes enough heat so I don't have to get close to my scalp at all. The back pops off so you can clean it to keep the air circulation as strong as the first use, also you can't beat the price! Great product.

For $7.77, it's fine. It blows hot and cold as well as a more expensive unit.

But be aware that the cord is only 4 feet long. That's pretty short.

I needed an inexpensive hairdryer. When it arrived, it was not as large as I thought it would be...that's a good thing when you're tight on storage space. I would say this is a mid-size hairdryer. Not the full gigantic salon-sized version nor the mini travel version. It doesn't seem too noisy when on and the volume of air it blows is pretty decent.

The overall construction is as you would expect for the price...a glossy smooth plastic outer shell surrounding the internal heating/electrical/mechanical workings. The switch is easy to manipulate into the desired setting: down for low and up for high. The cool shot button allows the hairdryer to ramp up into the high mode but blow out cool air. The filter cover on the end of the hairdryer is easy to remove by twisting off. I prefer this type of filter cover over the hinged version that you cannot run under the sink for a good cleaning. If you ever rinse the filter cover, make sure it is absolutely dry before putting it back on the hairdryer as water and electricity do not mix! On the topic of electricity, the hairdryer also features a GFCI plug in case your bathroom doesn't have a GFCI outlet. This feature trips the power off to your hairdryer in case it comes into contact with water, preventing electrocution.

The weight is decent and lightweight, not too heavy to hold while drying your hair. The handle could be a bit more comfortable, but for the money I cannot complain that much.

I don't know about durability, but I think it was a decent purchase and very utilitarian.

I bought this for my mom and little sister's home, as one of their Christmas gifts this year, because they haven't had a blowdryer in the house for years now. They said they love it, it's a simple blowdryer with a high heat so it dries the hair fast; overall it's easy to use but doesn't come with any special perks. But guaranteed if you don't have one now it's better than what you have!

I absolutely love this stuff. It works so incredibly well. It leaves my hair really sleek and smooth, even when I use my flat iron and blow dryer on their hottest setting. I did a lot of research on rolling hairdryers before buying this, including reading reviews of products on Amazon. The model I have is BABHHDRIW. My hair is fine, normal porosity, normal elasticity, and I have a lot of it. In summer, I let it dry on its own, but in winter it takes hours and it's too cold to run around with wet hair. I'm newish at curly hair, having always used round brushes and hand drying sections at a time to style. In Southern California heat, it is too curly to maintain a smooth style, so I've been experimenting with products, sites, and equipment.

This Babyliss ProThermal roll-about drier is perfect. It is quiet more a hum but you may not want to have a conversation while it's on high and someone is speaking from the other room. I roll it out and sit under it while doing my makeup, leaving the clips in at the roots while it dries. Within 10-12 minutes, my scalp and whole head are dry enough to remove the clips. If you have longer hair mine is just past my shoulders when dry the ends may be set but still feel a bit damp.

The dryer was easy to put together; no need to be mechanical. A couple of rods that go together and the base screws on (you might want a wrench to tighten) and the bonnet slips on at the top. Very stable, not tippy, weighs maybe 15 pounds altogether. No frizz, doesn't blow your hair like a wind tunnel there are three settings, including a no-heat one with just light air. I love it.

This hooded dryer is perfect for drying my natural hair and I don't have to worry about going outside with wet hair. My husband also uses it to dry his hair, this way he doesn't have to worry about drying all of his hair at the same time. Blow dryers don't always get all of the hair dry. Just a few minutes my husband is out from under the dryer. I only stay under the dryer for 30 minutes or so. I use the medium heat, not the hot. You can always turn it to cool. I would recommend this product because it's so easy to put together and your hair gets an even distribution of heat.

I tried two creme presses, one was the Spanish sure grow, then I tried the Black and Sassy. Both products got the main job done. Hair was thermally relaxed. Both had a creamy texture, but the black and sassy product was creamier. Black and Sassy creme press also gave my hair more of a shine and my hair was easier to style and had more volume. The spanish sure gro creme press gave my hair a more mat finish, and the hair was a bit flatter. With the Black and Sassy you have to be careful not to use too much or the hair will feel sort of oily, (a little goes a long way). The container was bigger with Spanish sure gro, but like I said you probably need less per use with the Black and Sassy product. All in all I liked the black and sassy creme press. It also appeared to repel moisture more than the other product. To each its own though, if you prefer a mat or glossy finish to your thermal relaxed hair will determine which product is best for you. smiles val ford

The product pictured has been discontinued and is not what I received! The Neutrlab version is not nearly as good. I have gone everywhere looking for the Black & Sassy. It is no longer being made and I am sad. I used the original for more than 10 years and would have bought a boat load if I had known it was going away. If you love the stuff in the white jar shown save your money. It is not what you are going to get.

Why?

The stuff that is in the jar with the orange lid is greasy and ordinary. The original was light, creamy and slightly waxy (not greasy) which made for shiny hair that held curls for hours. This new stuff is just hair grease and will do nothing special for your hair. I ordered several jars, and to be fair to the new product I did try it (did I mention how sad I am). It is not the same. Neutrlab!!!! When you bought the name you should have have bought the formula too! Very disappointed. I will be returning the other jars.

I love this conditioner...and began using it after having gone to the Batia and Aleeza salon in Los Angeles. The gel is also great and highly recommended it. The conditioner helps keep curls in check; I recommend leaving some in (not to thoroughly wash it all out) for it to work even better than it does on its own. A wonderful product and very recommended!

I have naturally curly hair and have struggled all my life to find products that would help my hair with frizz and for my curls to have nice soft ringlets rather than kink wave. I use this with no shampoo (I'm a "no-poo" girl, 3b hair). I use this along with their Micro-Sculpting Gel. I've been tried to talk into changing to other products, no way...I've found what works. The thing with this product is the longer you use it the more responsive your hair becomes with it. I get great 2nd, 3rd and 4th day hair with just spritzing with water.

I have very curly hair, and this stuff is amazing! My only complaint is that is cost me almost $25 for a small bottle of it. I co-wash everyday, and I can be a bit heavy for my hair. Nonetheless It is a very good conditioner and works Incredibly well.

I did however go with another brand, which was cheaper in the long run

(Deva Curl Ultra Creamy Daily Conditioner, One Condition, 32-Ounces $29.20 is a bit easier on my wallet and my hair.)
