I have natural hair and it is 4b type hair. I came across this product while surfing for soft and gentle products for my hair to reduce breakage and repair environmental damage. I wasn't sure if this line would work on hair with really tight curls. Since, I was going through a period of trial and error, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I gave it a shot too! When my hair is wet, it tangles easily. When I use the conditioner, it softens my hair so wonderfully and I can actually run my fingers through my hair without having to use a comb! It's so smooth and creamy and you can feel your hair loving the pampering. I love this stuff and I have noticed less shed and broken hairs when I wash (in addition to my wash/deep condition regimen). This is my new favorite hair cleansing product and I would highly recommend all brands of Kanechom hair Shampoos and Conditioners to anyone working with 4b hair. If this stuff can help make the tightest curls manageable, I know it is is phenomenal on all other types of hair.

(2008 HOLIDAY TEAM) Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program Although it isn't explicitly stated on the packaging (but you can see it in the marketing), "Motions Naturally You, Moisturizing Cleanser" is formulated for a very specific hair type. If you have that hair type, this is a great shampoo. If you don't ... then prepare for a greasy head.
My wife is Asian, and has thick, coarse, black hair. It is long and straight, but still feels like a wire compared to my hair. She loved this shampoo. It gets down deep into the hair and moisturizes, leaving her hair soft and shiny. The shea butter, coconut, and avocado oils really work their wonders, and even though her hair is straight and not curly, she gets a lot out of this shampoo.
On the other hand, I am a white guy with wispy ginger hair. Using this shampoo (which is VERY thick) feels like slathering Vaseline on my head. The greasiness stays with me the whole day, so I opt not to use it.
If you have the right hair, this is an awesome shampoo. The only problem is--if you are a mixed-race couple--this isn't a "his or hers" shampoo. If I run out of mine, I can't grab her bottle to use for the morning!
The only drawback for me is that I do like scented products and this has very little smell to it.

I was eager to try this product to see if it would decrease my winter dryness and restore some shine and luster. I was quite surprised and pleased with the results! It is a thick cleanser and you don't have to use too much. I paired this with the Motions At Home Moisture Plus Conditioner, 13-Ounce Bottle and the results are quite nice. Though the directions say you only should use it once a month, I've used it a couple of times a week with no negative effect on my hair. Others have remarked that it leaves a greasy, heavy feeling but I have not found this to be the case in my situation. My hair is smooth and softer.The only drawback for me is that I do like scented products and this has very little smell to it.

This creamy, rich shampoo rinses out wonderfully and leaves hair clean and bouncy with a really nice scent that isn't too perfumey, fake or strong. I have fine hair that isn't very thick. It's a little dry on the ends because I use a blow dryer and flat iron. This shampoo, along with the Motions Deep Conditioning Hair Masque, work really well together on my hair. These products leave my hair clean, light feeling and easy to comb and style. This shampoo is a plus-it doesn't strip hair nor leave it overly conditioned. I will definately look for this is the store. I was tired of buying cheap drug store hair dryers that last a few months before burning out. My hairdresser recommended this one & I am very happy with it. It's been over a year now and it maintains its heat and functionality, even with the daily use by myself, husband and kids. It might cost you a bit more than the drug store brand. But if you figure how many you have to buy to keep up with this one this is by far the better bargain. I definitely recommend this product!

This one is my favorite so far. It does not have the thickness that I'm used to when I use Queen Helene, but it works. I mixed it with a few of my favorite oils and paced it in my hair. I use saran wrap to seal in the heat. I then placed a plastic cap on my head. Sit under the dryer for 30-45 min, or use a heating cap. The results are unbelievable.

It was great back in the states but when I moved abroad, it sounded and acted very strange! It would turn off in the middle of using it, it's currently making a very weird sound that sounds like it's dying and might catch on fire. Wouldn't recommend it if your thinking of going abroad.

I've had this hair dryer for years (of course, it's an older model) and it's still going strong. I believe it's about 7 or 8 years old. Either way, for an inexpensive little hair dryer, it's definitely lasted long enough to be worth it.
I was surprised at first because it was smaller and lighter than I had expected.
The heat can get really hot, and the air speed can get really strong too, and I like it since my hair needs a lot of heat and air strength to get dried and straightened.
I also like how you can dry your hair and straighten it at the same time.
This hair dryer is really cool, and the price is very reasonable as well.
The only thing I don't like about it is that it needs too much pressure to put and take out the straightening pic and the concentrator.
Every time I try to pull it out, I'm scared that I might break it, but I think I'll get used to that.
Anyway, this is a great hair dryer overall.
I need to toss it and buy something else.

I selected to purchase this dryer because it is one of the few left that does not have ionic conditioning. I have very fine, straight,short and thin hair and the ionic conditioning dryers zap any body that I may be able to build through shampoos or setting solutions and cancels it out. Actually I purchased a couple of extra ones just in case Conair decides to discontinue this model #261. There is another Conair dryer that looks very similiar to this one that does have ionic conditioning so be careful and don't mix up the two. This dryer works for me. I have had this hair dryer for over a year and it works fine except for one thing....the silicone-like finish is melting and sticky. I have been unable to clean it and it is gummy and hair is sticking to it.I need to toss it and buy something else.

I just love this produce. I am a African American with coarse thick relaxed hair. I must say after using this product I will not use another kind of straightner or flat iron. I love the combs, and the adjustable heat settings. It made my hair soft and silky. I also used it on my neice who has long really thick hair. It usually takes forever to finish, however I was done much quicker. She just loved how it felt when I finished, as it was shiny and silky.

At first it takes practice to get the water chamber filled up, but it comes easy after a few uses. Make sure to have a bottle of room-temp filtered water nearby. You can only use distilled water in it. The directions say not to take off the water chamber when the iron is still hot, so that is pretty much the only con I found with this. Otherwise, it left my hair incredibly straight and soft!
This iron gets it done. It makes my hair softer than non-steam irons, and it is humidity resistant. Don't be disillusioned though..if you have hair like mine, it's ALWAYS going to take 30+ minutes to do your hair. Get over yourself if you think you can whip out shiny straight flat hair in 10 minutes. This makes my hair soft, polished, straight, and even movable(I can wear pony tails again and not look like a broom end!).
I've used Chi irons. They burn my hair and dry it out. This iron is FAR better than my 100+ dollar Chi iron, when I bought this one on sale for $40.
Bottom line. Get one~

This is an update to this straightening iron I have owned since June 2008. I (still) love this straightening iron!! I've had it for more than a year, used it almost every day for 3 months straight, and it's still going strong. My hair is not long anymore, so it's even better for short and poofy hair after blow drying it. I purchased the Conair Infiniti Steam Straightener a couple days ago. The main reason is because of the steam. The one I currently own, a Virtuo, which I paid about $100.00 for 3 years ago at the mall, does not have steam. With my hair totally dry, I have to go over one piece of hair two to three times, so I wanted to cut my time in half. I have long hair that is medium in thickness. Let me tell you, this does work. It took me about 10 minutes to totally straighten my hair. It would take me 20 to 25, on a good day. I only had to go over each piece ONCE. The steam really does make a difference. It also made my hair very shiny, whereas the one I currently own does not. On the bottom plate, there are detangling "combs" that are retractable. Other straighteners have actual combs, which when straightening your hair, actually cut it! Ouch! These combs are not pointy, they are round. So, it doesn't cut your hair. I like also because it has an automatic shut-off. That is really great for me because I have left my other one on all day!!!! I was hesitant to purchase this because I read a lot of different opinions about it, and a lot of them were not good. But, like anything else, you have to try things for yourself. Everyone has different hair types, so some products might not work as well as others. After a lifetime of dealing with high maintenance hair that never really looks good, I am impressed! Truly the only time my hair looks good is when some else does it. I have thick frizzy, curly hair that I don't usually have the time or patience to deal with. I have gone years with just air drying my hair and leaving it curly. Trying multitudes of hair products to limit the frizz. Honestly I couldn't style my hair if my life depended on it. I was not born with the natural ability to be create beautiful hair. With that said, I've been walking around for a week now looking like I went to the hair stylist everyday! My hair looks so soft, shiny and straight that my friends and family are skeptical that I myself accomplished this. My hair feels and looks healthier. And did I mention soft! My hair has never been soft! I would recommend this product to any woman that has suffered as I have through the years. It is actually easy to use. If it only takes me 20-25 min. to use, I would imagine that some one that knows what they are doing could do it in less time.
Buy Solano Super Lite Dryer Model 3500
My salon used Solano so I was scoping out the one I wanted for a while (they used a 3600 Pro). I could not be happier with this purchase of model 3500. After my old dryer (which was also more than $100 a few years back) went bad I decided to take the plunge with this one.
Simply put, it is amazing. Drys my thick hair so quick and leaves an amazing sheen to it. The settings are very cool and the dryer itself is very light (weight wise). WONDERFUL!!

this is an amazing dryer. my hairdresser has one and told me about it. Although it has the same wattage as other cheap dryers the force is MUCH MUCH stronger. It makes the hair really controlled just with blowing it dry. Review of Folligen Hair and Scalp Nutrient Cream
I guess it doesn't work for everyone but it worked for me. I'm a female with male pattern inherited hair loss. I took before and after photos at 3 months and six months to discern any improvement. It works pretty slowly because hair grows slowly especially when one has been dealt a bad genetic hair card.
I've now used Folligen cream for 2 years. While I don't have a beautiful thick head of hair, I can style my hair again. Two years ago, I was about ready to start wearing wigs. So I am very pleased with Folligen.
P.S. I tried Minoxidil and all that grew was vellus (peach fuzz) hair which fell out as soon as I stopped. The hair I got with Folligen is normal head hair.

It is a bright blue color and although Ive been using it for about a month, it still can cause my upper eyelids to itch, but its usually fleeting and isnt really painful. If you go to the website where this is actually from, they recommend using it with Emu Oil. I have been using them both and I have to say that my results are amazing. My lashes have grown longer than they did with Lilash (another lash stimulator that has some cautionary ingredients) and they are much fuller and thicker. I look like I am wearing mascara when I am not and my lashes curl outward at the ends, giving me a 'glamorous' look that I love.
As with most products, every individual reacts to chemicals differently and one cannot always expect the same results as everyone else. I personally would recommend this product if you were looking for a fairly safe way to improve your lash length. This particular cream does not have prostaglandin which is a controversial drug that is used in the treatment of glaucoma and has some serious side effects which include blindness. It does contain some types of parabens which may have been linked to some forms of breast cancer when used in underarm deodorant. But since my eyes are not near my breasts Ill try not to worry about it. The price alone is amazing, considering that Ive been using it everyday for almost a month and my tube is still almost completely full.

You can read about how the copper peptides in this formula help stimulate hair growth in a most natural way.
