I tried a sample of this product, not expecting my hair to turn out exactly the way it does when I use my $2 Ecostyler gel, which is hard, dry and crunchy. The results were so identical that I decided to look up the ingredients for each product, and the only difference was the olive oil and the blue and yellow color in the Ecostyler gel. Save yourself about $20 and buy the Ecostyler gel identical product, identical results! Miss Jessie's should be ashamed!

This is a new product from the Miss Jessie's line & I had been looking for an effective yet light gel for my hair. I could not be happier...once again Miss Jessie's does not disappoint! The product delivers as promised: defines curls w/ a firm hold w/o leaving the hair hard. In addition it is flake free & smells amazing (kind of reminds me of fresh cotton laundry :) ) I have thick curly/kinky hair & my curls are so soft, light & fluffy after applying this product, & they hold throughout the day w/o getting frizzy. I'm pretty sure this is the perfect hair product...love this stuff!!! Will be buying more for sure...

i ordered a free sample from miss jessie's website and i've used it for 2 days and love the results, much better than the curly pudding results :) my curls are perfect and nice and bouncy. there is curl shrinkage, but i'll take the shrinkage if it means perfect curls.

I am african american and I have 4c hair. I love this gel. If you have kinky or curly hair, you really do have to put a moisturizer on first so your hair won't be so dry. I put cold pressed extra virgin olive oil on my hair or either extra virgin coconut oil, or carol's daughter hair balm, then I put on the gel and it locks in the moisture just about all day long. It makes my hair soft, defined and so shiny! It doesn't feel greasy either. I also love miss jessie's quck curls but you also have to put a moisturizer on first.

I love these hair dryers and have had really good luck with them. My whole family uses them daily, often twice, and they still last at least a year or longer.

If you have extremely thick and long hair, they do tend to overheat-but mainly if you bury it deep in your hair so it can't breathe. Two women in the house use it and they have fairly thick heads of hair, and they have no problem.

I recommend the dryer heartily, but be forewarned-the comb attatchment teeth will start to break out in a few months. YOU WILL NEED REPLACEMENT ATTATCHMENTS. They cost a few bucks each. I have never used the brush which gets poor reviews, so maybe avoid this unit if the brush is critical.

I read the reviews and decided I needed a second dryer just in case my other one pooped out when dashing out of the shower for work, so I bought this one. It was a good choice. Fine hair will dry rapidly but this dryer gives the hair more body and shine.

The only thing which wasn't a plus for me was the loudness of the motor when it's on medium, and high is much too shrill near your ears as you dry your hair.

It is worth the price and Amazon is a good place to make a purchase.

I have long, thick, curly hair. Think Kerri Russell without the full time stylist. The humidity where I live makes it very hard to style and even harder to hold the style. Enter this jewel. One handed styling with the comb attachments works wonders and the ionic technology dries my hair faster, shinier, and straighter than anything else I have ever used. A few small issues: the brush attachment is absolutely useless. I would have preferred a concentrator. The fine tooth comb, necessary for a smooth finish, is starting to loose its teeth after only four months. When I have tried to use the dryer without any attachments, it overheats, but this is easily resolved by simply keeping one of the combs on at all times. I love my new soft and sleek look and feel that my hair is healthier than ever before.

Great concept if only it worked. Cheap design and poor quality make this dryer among the worst I've ever used. I have thin, but curly hair. Generally not a long or arduous process to dry, but with this product it takes forever. The dryer overheats WAY too eaily and you have to wait five minutes or more to use it again. I spend two minutes drying and then five waiting to start again. Comb/brush attachments are cheap and made of super hard plastic, neither comfortable to use nor able to stand up to regular wear and tear. Don't waste your money.

This dryer made my wavy hair straighter than a seperate brush and dryer ever could. THe problem is that it just shuts off. The first time I used it, it shut off twice within a 20-minute period. It wouldn't restart when I plugged it back in, or even when I tried a different outlet. No matter what I tried, it wouldn't restart for about 5 minutes. I've used an older model of this dryer and the same thing happened. I wouldn't recommend buying this product.

I needed a hairdryer for use in Europe so I ordered this. It does work as advertised. When you get to Europe you turn the little button from 110 to 240. BUT in the United States the hairdryer has two speeds -high and low. When you turn the button to 240, you get ONE speed -high and hot. You are locked out of the low speed. My hair dried really fast, but hot and perhaps damaged.

This blow dryer is the lightest one i know. I've bought solano for years, but this one is the lightest. Its not as hot and fast as the other solano dryers, but it does the job. I have not tested it for traveling yet. I purchased it, because I needed one that would be compact for traveling. It is bigger than I thought it would be, but the fold up handle is nice. It is very durable feeling. I do not like that it is sooo loud. It was suppose to be less noise. I do like the ions feature. It does seem to make my hair shiny and give it more body. Even though it is less heat than my other blow dryer, it blows your hair dry fast and probably with less damage due to the ions.

It works and seems to do quicker/better job than regular dryer. It's not as good as my more expensive full-size, but it gets the job done and is more convenient being smaller/folding handle. It's NOT quiet though!

It has broken twice on me.. the first time it starting spitting out sparks so I sent it back.. they sent me a new one (of course I had to get a temporary one because it took a while to get it back) and now it only works on low, the high is broken.. I am going to throw it out and get a different brand.. Not impressed!!

I'm writing this review while I'm on my vacation in Germany. Let me tell you that the hairdryer is working so well in Germany. What I need was the European adapter since this is a dual voltage one.

My hair is shy because the anti-static ion. I only use the low speed in Germany since the voltage here is 220V (in the US I tried it at high speed).

I highly recommend this product.

I already have a larger ION hair dryer that I've used at home for years, and love. I never liked the non ION dryers I used while traveling because I was used to the fast drying and shine I got from my ION, so bought this one to keep in my carry-on. It works as well as my more expensive dryer with the added convenience of being smaller, and ability to fold up making it even more compact. If I didn't already have my larger home dryer the size and price of this would make it perfect for every day use.

This is the second one I've owned and I love it! I have long, thick wavy hair and it blowdries it in half the time without burning or overheating my hair. It has great power and I like the medium heat setting. It's not too loud, but not the quietest. The blowdryer helps keep my hair soft and shiny, too. After the cord on my first one frayed, I tried three other dryers and this is still my favorite. Inexpensive too!

Edit: As this is the second one I've owned, I've noticed they have an expiration date of about a year, give or take a few months. I seriously absolutely love this dryer, but it's frustrating to have to replace it over a silly design flaw -somehow the wiring in where the cord attaches to the dryer shorts out after a while. I'm sure I could get it repaired but it's almost cheaper to just replace the whole thing.

It's a shame because this dryer is amazing. Always dries my super thick & course long hair in half the normal time without burning or overheating it. I love it if they could fix that flaw it'd be perfect!

I first used an Andis hair dryer in a hotel I was staying at and couldn't believe that it cut my drying time in half and did not make it dry and frizzy like some hotel dryers. I have long thick hair so it's always a challenge. I went home and looked on Amazon and purchased this dryer right away. I am stationed in Korea where the electric is 220, I need to use an inverter for this.

Besides that, it's a great hair dryer. I don't look so much for wattage but am more interested in airflow, and this baby fits the bill for drying hair quickly as well as other body parts.
