I am really happy w/ the Kayline Professional Took Holder. It always worried me having the hot flat iron & blow dryer on my bathroom counter where my daughter could seriously hurt herself. I hung this on my bathroom wall behind the door & I don't have to worry about that or about all of the counter space I was losing. I only gave it 4 stars because you can't really plug in more than one appliance because the holes are so close together but it's still a great product.

This deal seemed too good to be true! And It was. My mistake was that I never measured this hair before making tracks. Never really had issues here with other brands. The hair was labeled 18", which is what I paid for, but in reality it was only 16" adding only about 2 inches of length to my natural hair. I contacted the seller, and after a few weeks of not hearing back. Unfortunately I must leave negative feedback. Quality of the hair is good. But I will go back to Black Diamond next time.

I reluctantly purchased this hair but I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and length. It is indeed 18 inches but does shed a bit. However, it rarely tangles and takes well to heat applications as well as washing/conditioning. This wig is a beautiful piece. The fit and style are amazing. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the highlights do not look natural (too yellowish-27) so I had to use a brown color stick to calm the highlights down. Also It would look even better if there was a part (skin or lace). The cut of this wig is really nice layers falling in the back that gently rap around to the front in a soft bob. I just didn't like it... The hair wouldn't style right and you had to do a lot to just style the wig to make it fit you... I selected this product because of a recommendation in a magazine to which I subscribe.
First, I admit I should have paid more attention to the person here in Amazon who complained that the product was too loud. That person is right. On the HIGH setting, the product is very loud and shrill. To avoid harm to my ears, I always use the lower setting.
Secondly, it's big and heavy. I have to use two hands to hold the wand and dry my long hair.
I only find one of the attachments useful. There are two other attachments, but I never switch to either of them.
On a more positive note, it does dry my hair quickly. Also, if I use it like I would a curling iron, (i.e., roll a strand of hair around the brush and hold it there for a few seconds, then unroll it), it gives my hair a gentle curl and nice body.
Bottom line, I find myself going back to my old blow-dryer-and-separate-round-brush method about 50% of the time. If I had to do it over again, I don't think I'd buy this product.

I bought this product at Target and read Amazon reviews after, and was really scared to open and try it based on reviews saying it's too loud. I'm really sensitive to loud noises and was afraid I would hate it. This awesome styling brush is quieter than the blow dryer I reaplaced, and a MUCH better and faster styling tool. Please do not be put off by the reports of how loud it is! Maybe they've improved the product recently, I don't know, but even on high it's quieter than my last blow dryer. It's also not at all heavy. It works REALLY fast, een on my very thick hair, and makes beautiful smooth lines or curled ends. Amazon price is better than what I paid at Target, too, so get it here. I used this for the first time today, and it's going back! It was the loudest hair appliance I've ever used! It actually hurt my ears on the highest setting. It HAS to be dangerous for your hearing using it right next to your ears. I definitely DO NOT recommend this product.

I hardly ever write reviews of products -I can't even remember the last one I wrote. However, I'm pretty inspired right now. This dryer has cut my styling time to less than half of what it's always been. It's not frizzy, so I'm not doing tons of follow-up flat-ironing. And, the most important part is that my ridiculously thick hair is completely dry when I'm finished.
Now, it remains to be seen how long this hairdryer will hold up, but for now, I'm pretty sure this is the best purchase I've made in years.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've used inexpensive blow-dryers for decades (my two most recent are a Conair Ionic Cord-keeper and a compact Vidal Sassoon, both 1875 watts) but upon using this model, I'm a convert to you-get-what-you-pay-for.
This Remington is the standard professional shape (not collapsible), with the standard heat options (cool, warm, hot; plus a button for a burst of cold), airflow options (medium and high; the enclosed concentrator and diffuser can be attached to further customize the airflow), and 1875 watts.
But that's the end of "standard." This model is slightly heavier than my other dryers, the weight being a sturdier motor that's warranted for 4 years. The motor makes it the first dryer with enough oomph that I can hold it the recommended 8-inches away from my head and still get great heat and airflow to my hair. (And it's the first time the tips of my thumb and index finger are healing; they were constantly dry and cracked from needing to hold my old blow-dryers too close to my hand that holds the styling brush.) It has a fabulous surface -a sort of velvety-smooth composite that creates just the slightest bit of drag so the dryer doesn't slide around or off a countertop. And the best? It's the quietest blow-dryer I've heard, made even better by a pitch that's low and whooshy, not high and whiney. Oh-so-highly recommended!
Update: I just called Remington. They warranty the product for three years and are sending me a new dryer. No hassle.
I began by purchasing the highly rated Revlon RV544. It worked just "OK". The fatal flaw with that model was the short cord. It was only about 6 feet long and it wouldn't reach across our deep countertop to where I needed to use it. Not wanting to use an extension cord with this appliance, I tried to plug it into my makeup mirror to overcome the short cord. The way the plug is designed, it absolutely would not stay plugged into the makeup mirror and fell out multiple times each time I tried to dry my hair. I only used this dryer for a week, but my hair began to look dull and I wondered what long term use of this dryer would do to it. Back to the store.
This time I bought the Conair 259 Infiniti Pro which came well recommended. Another disappointment. It had a short cord, was extremely loud and it barely heated up enough to dry my hair.
My last try was the Remington Studion Collection Pearl Ceramic Hair Dryer. After using it for a month, I love it! My hair dries in a reasonable amount of time, it looks sleek, shiny and to be in excellent condition. The dryer is not overly loud (although I wouldn't call it quiet either), the cord is longer than most standard dryers and it was in my price range. I really don't see how my hair could look better even if I used a $200 dryer. I would highly recommend this dryer.
UPDATE: 1/23/13:
The dryer is still working great. I love it so much I bought another one to keep on hand in case the first one breaks.
I have purchased the Remington Pearl Ceramic Paddle brush and the large barrel round brush too. They work together to make my hair look so glossy and shiny. They are my favorites of all time and that's saying something. Stop your research, get the Remington Pearl Ceramic dryer and a Pearl Ceramic brush and I bet you'll agree...they're great.
However, I emailed the company about the issue, and they responded within a couple hours informing me they would be sending a replacement unit as well as a prepaid shipping label to return the defective one. I know some other reviewers mentioned that they were unresponsive, but I had the opposite experience. And I did receive the replacement 5 business days later. However, because this seems to be a consistent problem across the model, I will probably keep this as a backup to a different unit I purchased. It's inexpensive, so if you want to take the chance you get a good unit, go for it. It did work really great when it worked correctly (although I do agree it was rather heavy).
As for the other claims on the box, I'm very skeptical. It promises a salon experience with its "pearl ceramic grill with real crushed pearls for faster airflow." But airflow is primarily a function of the motor and the nozzle, not the grill. The box also extols its "internal electronic ion generator for maximum therapeutic benefit." Sorry. We haven't noticed any therapeutic benefits in the process of using it. The product does a fine job of drying hair, but these two claims strike me as a lot of Madison Avenue hoo-hah!
On the plus side, it's remarkably quiet for such a powerful machine, and it comes with a long cord, a non-slip grip, a removable air intake screen for ease of cleaning, and three heat and two speed settings for a total of six combinations. It's a sturdy dryer that should last for many years. If I needed to dry a lot of thick hair fast, this would be my tool of choice.

Possibly one of my best beauty buys this year. VERY HAPPY. I was due for a new hair dryer, so I spent some time doing research on the best batch of new hair dryers this was top 5 for 2013 on almost every single list. This dryer was also the most affordable of the top tier options, so I gave it a shot. I was not disappointed. I have long hair, and this dries it quickly and the air flow is substantial. The buttons are easy to use, and there are multiple drying options (hot / warm / cold & low / med / high).

Cheap Magic 10 Piece Professional Styling Comb Set
I just recieved my combs today and they are amazing! They come in a clear pack that rolls up and is easy to store. I took one of the combs out and put in my styling clips so I have everything there that I need when I style my hair. Everything they said would come with it did. I ordered it on the 13th and I got it TWO DAYS before I was supposed to. This product is amazing and I definetely recommend it! thank you :)

This product is DANGEROUS. I bought the blowdryer because it came with a lifetime warranty thinking it was a good deal. I have gone through 3 dryers in the last 3 years, and they all had electrical problems and ended up dying by literally blowing up (the cord). I am not the only one with this problem. The switch would let out a small spark every time I turned it on or off and eventually the cord would explode at the base of the dryer. However, I did like the way it dried my hair, always leaving it frizz-free and dried it very fast, but it's not worth the risk in my opinion.

After carefully researching 1 1/4" barrel curling irons online and reading as many reviews as I could, I finally settled on this one! So far, SO GOOD! I have fine, extremely straight, silky, FLAT hair of medium thickness/abundance and length, which resists curling and has never held a curl very well. I selected the barrel size because I wanted loose, but defined waves. I selected this particular curling iron because of its performance ratings it was said to do a great job QUICKLY with lasting effects. It has!!! This iron curls even my stubborn locks quickly (without damage), and after I spritz my curls with a little hairspray, the curls stay in 24+ hours with only slight droop after being slept on. Gets hot fast, stays hot. Good weight and balance. I really like the variable heat control, and that it's separate from the power button.The power button is in an unfortunate location, however, and I've twice accidentally turned it off without noticing until I'm several curls in and it doesn't seem to be curling anymore. This is a design flaw the on/off switch is in a bad place, right near where you tend to move your thumb a lot while curling, and while it clicks "on" with an subtle sound and tactile "click," the switch toggles "off" like a ninja, happily stealthing into the "off" position at the slightest whisper of perceived intent. I'd even read in other reviews where others would accidentally touch the off button during use, so I thought I was prepared. The design and location of the on/off switch makes the iron feel shy and a bit too introverted, so you'll want to get in the habit of glancing at that button after every curl or two.
Otherwise, the iron makes beautiful, smooth curls that set faster and have a longer shelf-life than other irons I've used. And it looks great on my vanity next to my pink zebra hair blower.
I'd recommend this curling iron.

As a first time curling iron buyer, I put a few hours into researching which curling iron to buy (based off customer reviews and what I could find on the internet). After said research, I narrowed down my choices to this iron and another Hot Tools iron; I went with this one because the other one was sold out and this one was Prime eligible.The main issue is a pretty big one, in my opinion where you place your thumb to control the bumper (not sure if there's a term for this) gets hot. This is NOT supposed to happen. Even the crappy drug store irons that my sister owns have a nice rubber area to protect you from the heat. It was fine at first, probably because it hadn't heated up to the set temperature. Then all of a sudden my thumb got hot and nearly burned. I actually put on a pair of leather gloves to finish doing my hair that day because the heat on my hand was unbearable.
The other issue has already been mentioned, and that is where the power switch is. It's in such an easy spot to accidentally turn off and not notice, and it actually has happened to me a couple times. This isn't a big problem but it is a flaw in design.
Overall I would not recommend this iron to anyone.

This is actually my 2nd HotTools Pink Titanium Curling Iron. I just recently purchased the 1.25 size and this one 1.5 size. I just love this iron. Heats up sooo quick at a high level heat. It doen't pinch any hair when releasing the curl. I love the gray titanium barrel. Also,the cord swivles easy and the cord itself is smooth and not a tangling kind. I am a daily curling iron Queen. I use it on myself and my 8 year old daughter everyday. It does not sizzle or burn in any way. LOVE this iron. And I would put myself in the fuss-bud catagory!!! Great quality...All the hair dressers I know use Hot Tools.

The product is good and mounted on the wall easily. I would have preferred that one of the holders be a bit larger to accommodate the blow dryer with a large barrel more easily. The vendor was prompt and I would do business again.

I installed in our bathroom to allow my wife to store her curling iron and hair dryer off the counter.It installed easily with some anchors, and it has stayed solidly attached to the wall over the weeks of its use.
The metal allows the appliances to be put away while still a little hot, which is nice.
Hard to review a simple product like this other than to report that it works exactly as advertised, and that I highly recommend it.

This curling iron holder certainly does it's job of keeping hot styling wands and flat irons off of counter out of reach of little hands.... or my clumsy hands for that matter. It is well made and very useful. I installed it on the side of vanity cabinet, and it stores my dryer,iron,and multiple combs(middle holder). It hides all the cords nicely from view. This was difficult to mount on the wall. We had to add a piece of board to put behind it. It is sturdy and holds my hair appliances without it feeling like cheap plastic. Another drawback is where do you put the cords??? I only give it 3 stars because I'm keeping it and I'll try to figure a way to rig something to neatly hang the cords from my hair appliances. The directions sheet were not all to clear as well.

I have been searching for years to find something that will tame my wild hair without making it greasy or heavy; this is the perfect product for my hair. I have thick blonde color-treated hair that is unmanageable and frizzy, but with this product no one can tell....it's that good. I ordered this online after having a hard time finding locally. I have curly hair which tends to be frizzy if I don't have enough product on it. I wear it curly sometimes but mostly blow it out straight and this product works for both purposes. It helps define the curl when curly and makes hair smooth when blown out or straightened. Product is lightweight, it doesn't weight my hair down even thought I use a fairly good amount to cover my hair.
