Received the dryer in a timely manner from manufacturer offered through Amazon.

The dryer is holding up well in my home.

I have 4 daily users-all with medium to long thick hair.

The dryer makes quick of drying hair. It comes with attachment for styling.

It is very powerful. No real issues with accidental on/off switching while drying hair. The dryer has a 9-ft long thick power cord. No tangling and plenty of length to be mobile while styling hair. There are 2 fan speeds (High,Low) and 3 temp choices (Hot,Warm,Cool) w/ a cold shot button. I would have like to have seen a third choice (med) on fan speeds. The noise factor of the dryer fan is good. Cleaning the air filter is a snap. The dryer stays cool to touch in use. The ionic works. We have really noticed a reduction in static charged hair. Especially now that we are in the winter months and home heating is needed. We highly recommend this dryer. Definitely worth the extra money spent.

Beware when ordering this item--the red dryer with a 50 month warranty. After ordering this model twice, I was sent one that has a 24 month warranty, worth quite a bit less and a completely different model. The only thing similar was that both were red and made by the same company.

This is my first "pro" dryer and I've had it for 1.5 years. In the past, I always bought my dryers (Conair, Sassoon, Revlon, etc.) at a big box retailer.

I extensively researched many products before I decided to buy this Babyliss. Overall, it's a fantastic dryer and I will not go back to the type that you can get at a drug store. This BabyBliss is a nice compromise between the high and low-end products.

I do agree with other reviewers that the buttons are not strategically placed therefore you end up switching the temperature settings a lot when grabbing the handle.

I must say that the dryer is indestructible! I can't tell you how many timea it's fallen off my bathroom counter onto my ceramic floor and, other than minor scratches, nothing has happened. The color is also a nice metallic red.

We have one of these and were happy with it. It's relatively quiet and functional.

But something in it broke after about 10 months of use -perhaps one of the internal ceramic heating elements. (After all, it is called the "ceramic twin" dryer. Maybe one of the twins died.) It's not hot enough to be useful now.

It does have a two-year manufacturer warranty that we intend to test. The warranty instructions suggest that they'll repair or replace it even without the original receipt as long as it's within two years of the manufacturing date. That's a nice type of warranty.

I would've given it five stars but as some others noted, the controls are a bit awkward. It takes awhile to get used to being able to hold on to it without accidentally flipping a switch. Other than that, works great and great price for one with this many settings.

Powerful dryer, drys my hair 2x faster than any hairdryer I have ever had. I would compare it to those that are used by professional stylists. Also leaves my hair smooth, soft and shiny. Unlike other reviewers, I have not experienced any problems with placement of switches. I have purchased one for myself, one for my mother, one for a friend and today, I will be placing another order for my daughter. You will not be disappointed with this great hairdryer!!! (Forgot to mention another plus-this dryer cost me 22.50-a wonderful deal for this quality of hairdryer)

I wanted to replace my old 1000 watt hairdryer with somthing more powerful, and this really filled the bill. It has hot and cold adjustments for the air, which is wonderful. My only complaint is that the control buttons are on the handle right where you hold it, so I've had to adjust how I hold the dryer so I'm not constantly making unwanted changes.

Bought this along with the Bass Brushes Lg. Oval Hair Brush Wood Bristles to upgrade my old, worn plastic brush. This is a nice way to distribute shine through your hair. Minimal breakage. I am worried, tho, about cleaning the brush as the bristles seem to sit in some kind of fabric.

Our whole family (four of us) use this style of brush, #847, the design of which has changed from the last time I ordered them. For the better, actually. The handle is more ergonomically appropriate and feels better in my hand, although I never noticed any discomfort with the prior handle, but the new handle design does feel more solid and natural. The bristles are spaced a little further apart from each other, which somehow makes it feel even nicer on my head and running through my hair. However, time will tell if the plastic bristles that surround the boar hair will keep their soft-tips intact, a problem we had when my five-year-old daughter got hold of one of the brushes one afternoon and pulled them all off, rendering the brush unusable due to the sharpness of the plastic bristles without the soft "cap." Overall, I love the new design and have ordered more.

Unlike many other reviews, I did not receive this as a trial from Goody. For the price, it is what you would expect. It is a hair dryer, not salon-grade by any means. I don't forsee using all 10 temp settings, but I use a lower one to diffuse my curly hair (I use another diffuser rather than the small one that came with the dryer), and I use the fast dry temp to straighten my hair (doesn't seem to get too hot--good or bad?). It does the job, not complaints so far.

I received this as a sample from Goody, and I've loved it! Here's why-

1. the TEN heat settingsWOW! I've always hated how hair dryers give me the option of a VERY slow dry, or a fast dry that fries my hair! Not a problem anymore! With the turn of a dial, I have full control over the heat and set it where I wantdepending on the look I'm going for, and how much time I have to get ready.

I bought this dryer, after I had read all of the reviews on several websites. For the price, it's exactly as I expected. It's a good hair dryer, nothing earth-shattering. Although it has all of the temp levels, it really doesn't seem to be all that different than any other dryer, in that regard, as most people just go for a low, medium, or high heat when using their hair dryer. So, if a dryer has that equivalent, they're in good shape. I'd recommend it, and buy it again (for the price), but just remember: It's an inexpensive, Goody hair dryer... not a professional salon hair dryer. :)

I saw this exact same mirror while in San Francisco at the Sheraton in our bathroom. I immediately fell in love with the magnification and easy arm movement. I actually photographed the label on the back with my cell phone and immediately looked it up when I was home. It was easy to locate, but other places wanted an arm and a leg then I thought of Amazon. Of course, they had it and at a great price too! I have thick, color treated, medium length hair. My hair tends to get frizzy on humid days. HOWEVER, this is the ONLY dryer that gives me body AND gets rid of the frizz. I also use styling products, but when my original Valera hair dryer broke after three years, I bought a Bliss, thinking brand didn't matter, yes brand matters. My hair was flat and frizzy with the other hair dryer. This is the ONLY hair dryer I will use, and I'm very picky about my hair. I want it to have body, and no frizz.
