I got this for $12 plus shipping, so I shouldn't complain too much. It does its work fine. The ionizer works just the same as in the more expensive models. The difference is more in the accessories. the concentrator nosel opening is a little bit large, therefore blowing too much air and not concentrating it in a smaller space making it hard to style your hair. More speed settings would also be appropriate, but I repeat it more than worth it for the price.

This is my 4th time buying this hairdryer over the years. I really LOVE it when it works, but it always dies, usually with a pop and a burst of smoke. This last time, it only lasted 3 months. Usually they last about a year. Can't return it to Amazon, but you can return it to manufacture and pay for it to be returned. Not worth it. Might as well buy a new one. I think I've finally learned my lesson and will buy another brand.

I have very curly hair. I was looking for a curling iron with tangle free, ceramic combs to replace the one I have which has been discontinued. I decided to try this product and was pleased with the results. It does hold the hair in place while drying so this eliminates blow drying then curling. The release button works great for tangle free. If there is anything I would like to change perhaps I would like for the temperature to get a little hotter. Just tried it for the first time and very happy with the results. I have VERY fine hair that is hard to style. This brush picked up all of my layers and gave me more volume than I've been able to achieve with other types of stylers. Just be careful if you get the 3/4" barrel as it catches in my hair if I put too much into it. I had a 1" before and it didn't do that. I like the extra lift with the 3/4" versus a 1", so this is a "keeper".

This is a great clipper. The ability to swap out the shaver head is genius. I shave my head bald and the Andis #00000 blade works great and does not cause irritation.

The Andis 21420 and the Andis 21485 are the same unit as this shaver, they're just intended to be used as a pet shaver and so they're $15 to $20 less money.

I'm not sure why you would want to completely disassemble the shaver blade, there's no reason to. Don't unscrew anything to clean the blades, read the instruction manual it shows how to remove the blade assembly. It's quite easy to clean everything.

The blades are brittle because they are tempered, which makes them stay sharp for a very long time. A softer non-tempered blade will not be brittle but will be more malleable and will dull much quicker. There is always a trade-off with knifes between how hard the blade is vs how brittle. This is true for any blade, scissor, chefs knife, hunting knife, etc.

The reason that only one of the blades is ceramic is because only one of them has to be ceramic, it serves to reduce the friction of steel on steel. The lower blade is steel because steel handles stresses a lot better than ceramic, the ceramic wold crack if you torqued those screws on there. There is some heat from friction but the coefficient of friction for ceramic on steel is less than for steel on steel.

I've been cutting my own hair for about 10 years, and I have a pretty simple style (high and tight -kind of like a Marine cut). I've had 2 other clippers prior to this, and this is the best one yet. As the prior review states, the clipper is ceramic and moves against a steel comb. The primary advantage I find is that these clippers don't get nearly as hot as my old clippers did after 20 minutes of cutting.

As far as cutting close, I use the bare blade (no add'l or different combs used) right on my scalp and I don't think I could get any closer without using a razor. My head feels like the stubble on your chin at the end of the day. The disassembly has been fine, and the unit is easy to clean. The cord is nice and long, and seems to have plenty of power and sharpness for anything I need. I love it, and would buy again!

I've been using this about a year for clipping my hair to the scalp. I've only used cheap $30 clippers and this. Everything about this product feels of quality, including the plastic clip-ons (1/16" up to 1") which grip very securely and including the on/off switch which a previous reviewer said broke easily. It cuts the hair exactly as I'd hoped, without leaving rows of uncut hair, pulling, etc. The motor is powerful. I can run this down my head quickly and there is a barely noticeable change in the motor's tone. That means it takes much less time to clip my head. Deep cleaning the thing and, if needed, changing the metal guard/blade is very easy (about 1 second to access) and toolless. It runs cool. The attached metal guard seems to be the common length I'm used to and you can buy additional lengths. Also comes with a cleaning brush and oil. I feel this clippers will outlast several cheap clippers thereby saving you money in the long run and also you'd have a superior product the whole time. Overall I am ecstatic with this and HIGHLY recommend it.

I have tried everything for my fine, frizzy hair, and when I used smoothing and/ or conditioning products, all I ever ended up with was a heavy, greasy, flat look. Then I found Daily Keratin and my hair is sleek but not limp, its manageable, shiny and vibrant looking, has a little bit of volume and bounce, as well. What is so great about this dryer and sets it apart from other cheap hair dryers?

1. It is lightweight and easy to use to style your hair with round brushes. You don't feel like you need an extra arm to pull it off. ( I recommend the Moroccanoil round brush that has the little tail comb at the end of it)

2. Temperature controls are great, there is no burning your scalp on medium heat. Also there is a cold shot button you push in and it locks so no holding it in while using the cold shot. If you are changing the temp on your dryer and feel no change your cold button is locked in.

3. Even if you are going for the messy look instead of smooth it is just so easy to accomplish with a great finished look.

I can't live without this hair dryer now. Don't know if any of you feel this way but I used to dread to dry my hair. You don't stand there forever making your shoulders soar fumbling with the dryer and and brush. My hair looks so much better now. Everyone has been commenting on how nice my hair looks and asking what I have done differently. Another thing is it has cut down a lot of time I spend on drying my hair. I highly recommend this.

This is my second revlon brush. The first one worked but then the attachment pins stopped working and the brush kept falling out. I thought this newer version would be better. A year later and the attachment pin is not working. I love this product but to have to buy a new one every year seems silly when the dryer is fine but the attachments keep falling off the dryer since the pin will not lock anymore. I think I will know try a conair brush or another brand.

I bought this product to use the styling attachment while drying wet hair. It does not work. Note at the base of each of the attachments is a space where all of the hot air comes out and very little air comes through any of the attachments. You are better off with a hair dryer which has a nozzle on it that is a little bit easier to direct. Also, the barrel is too big to fit comfortably in my hands. Very disappointed. Total waste of money.

I bought this product about a month ago and loved it. It made my life so much easier. I have wavy/curly hair that is a complete nightmare to handle. This product allowed me to blow dry my hair (on low) in less than 10 minutes and be able to walk out the door. I should also mention that my hair was smooth!!! I didn't even use a curling iron!! I always used only the large attachment. Never even tried the other pieces. I even considered throwing them away. Then today will I was drying my hair the brush just fell off. I tried to put it on again and then had my husband try. He said the small plastic piece that locks it on was broke. I looked online and found that others have had the same problem. I have emailed Revlon to see if they will fix it. It is suppose to have a three year warranty, but of course I have lost the receipt. I really hope that they will fix this flaw in the design. After researching all hand held round blow dryer brushes it is hard to find one that is not flawed. We've put men on the moon why can't we have a good product to dry our hair?
