Turbo Power Twin Turbo 2600 Hair Dryer I bought this for my mom's beauty salon; she had some of these but they were worn out, so basically she knew what to expect from this product. Although it was a good buy, it wasn't exactly a bargain as the price was not very far from what I could get on a 'brick and mortar' store. As of know it has been what expected: reliable, and comfortable in hand. I (my mom) would recommend this product.

Same dryer that my hairstylist uses. Provides salon-quality results in little time--I can straighten my long, curly hair in less than 20 minutes without the need to finish with a flat iron. The dryer includes two nozzle attachments that allow for concentrated airflow. A little heavy, but not unbearable. The cord is very long, which I find a plus. Excellent workmanship, quality product, great results!

I purchased this hair dryer over 5 years ago, at the time I paid $150.00. It is one of the best products I have ever purchased. The only reason I am looking to replace mine now is that where the power comes into the dryer is loose, not sure if it can be fixed. The dryer works great though. I am going to buy another one and keep my current one as a standby, once you use this you won't touch a drugstore brand!

Bought this to use on my should length hair. The pick doesn't stay in the handle, but I didn't really care about that. I think the barrel is a little small for the length of my hair, I should have gone with the 2 1/8" barrel. It does make my hair shiny and bouncy. My only real complaint is the handle. It's a very grippy material which is great for my fingers to hold onto, but my hair grips onto it too! I often have to untangle my hair from around the handle. I think I would prefer a more slippery handle so that my hair would just slide off. So I'm still looking for the perfect round brush.

I found this brush to be great if you are styling someone else's hair and can section all the parts you are blow drying. The bristles are short enough that it won't grab a ton of hair at once and it's easier to clean. The grip is rubber and comfortable but catches hair very easily. I've ripped out my own hair many times. I now won't use it on my own hair and only if I'm styling someone else's hair.

Works well and perfect for what I need. I basically use it for deep conditioning treatments and wrap styles. The design is a little flimsy, however. When I close the unit to put it away and try to carry it by the handle at the top, it sometimes opens back up.

We bought these hair clips to go with new smooth rollers for my mother who is suffering with Alzheimer's disease. The clips work great. They are easy to use with one hand so you can quickly roll up the hair. The clips hold very well so you're not having to 're-adjust' all the time once in place. I recently purcahsed these clips to hold down my dreadlocks during "re-twisting time".....I already owned Diane brand clips and reading the reviews I thought these they were going to be of the same quality if not better. They are cheaply made and the spring on the clips are not tight enough so they did not hold down my locs...If you're looking for simple clips to hold down soft, wavy and or silky straight textured hair these are probably for you. But women and men who are blessed with kinky, curly and coarsely texturized hair I advise you to purchase a different brand or go to a beauty store so you can see what you're purchasing....I would have done so too but I am Wyoming right now...so needless to say there are not many African-American hair care products on the shelves here!

I bought these clips as an alternative to the Deva Curl ones. They are perfect for creating that added lift for my curls by inserting the clips at the roots and gently lifting then releasing when the hair is wet (check out the Deva Curl website for more tips!) Anyone who is looking for the Deva Curl clips: these are the next best thing! They are less expensive and I received them right away in the mail. Great quality and very strong grip. I would not advise people to get these for their original purpose: If you are looking to use them to hold your hair in curlers, you may find the clips to be too short!!

Unlike many other reviews, I did not receive this as a trial from Goody. For the price, it is what you would expect. It is a hair dryer, not salon-grade by any means. I don't forsee using all 10 temp settings, but I use a lower one to diffuse my curly hair (I use another diffuser rather than the small one that came with the dryer), and I use the fast dry temp to straighten my hair (doesn't seem to get too hot--good or bad?). It does the job, not complaints so far.

I received this as a sample from Goody, and I've loved it! Here's why-

1. the TEN heat settingsWOW! I've always hated how hair dryers give me the option of a VERY slow dry, or a fast dry that fries my hair! Not a problem anymore! With the turn of a dial, I have full control over the heat and set it where I wantdepending on the look I'm going for, and how much time I have to get ready.

I bought this dryer, after I had read all of the reviews on several websites. For the price, it's exactly as I expected. It's a good hair dryer, nothing earth-shattering. Although it has all of the temp levels, it really doesn't seem to be all that different than any other dryer, in that regard, as most people just go for a low, medium, or high heat when using their hair dryer. So, if a dryer has that equivalent, they're in good shape. I'd recommend it, and buy it again (for the price), but just remember: It's an inexpensive, Goody hair dryer... not a professional salon hair dryer. :)

This is approximately the same size and weight of a standard 1800 watt dryer but the air flow is significantly more forceful. I can't tell if it gets hotter than a standard dryer but I think my shoulder length hair dries in about half the time. It has a very long cord and is more quiet than any other blow dryer I've ever used. I've bought several other "salon quality" hair appliances and have found this dryer to be the only one worth the extra money.

Very Powerful the dryer blasts air but it doesn't get too hot, so it dries the hair without damaging it. There is a slower, hotter setting and two different nozzles for targeted styling. It's also lightweight and easy to manage.

This is the best hair dryer I have ever owned. Prior to purchasing it I was skeptical; could an expensive hair dryer really be that much better than a $40 or $50 model? The answer is yes. I have medium length, thick hair with a slight wave that I blow straight every day. This hair dry reduced my drying time by approximately 10 minutes and leaves my hair soft, smooth and static free and is super light. I will definitely purchase this hair dryer again.

Great hair dryer. It is lightweight, simple to use, and I love the long cord. My only complaint would be that it needs a 'medium' setting for blowing air. Low is too low and high it too high (puts my hair in knots) a medium setting would be perfect. It does seem to dry my hair a little quicker than a regular dryer but not 30-40%. I would still highly recommend it, and never go back to using a $19 Conair ever again. :)

This purchase was a huge disappointment. I just got this straightener less than a week ago, and already, the black paint or whatever it is on the plates have already begun to chip off. I've considered returning it, but would be at a loss for the shipping since this thing is only 20 bucks. Regardless, I would not recommend this product to anyone since it could not even hold up for a week. I am so disappointed. What a waste of money.

i have to say that the iron did a great job in straightening my hair! i'm african american and my hair stayed straight in the rain and in humidity! but it didn't burn my hair like other irons i used and didn't have that burning hair smell. for that i would give it 4 stars. but like another user, my iron started to chip also! i just purchased it last week and used it once on relaxed hair that was blown straight first. so i would give it 2 stars for that. also the iron started to chip in on the top plate in one area, making me think that the iron gets too hot in that once spot.
