I purchased the dryer based on its description on Amazon and it was not complete. There was no mention that the dryer had to be mounted over an electrical box and hard-wired into the box. I assumed it could be mounted and plugged in to an outlet. I managed to jeri-rig the installation and now it works just fine, very well actually. I do like the product.

I installed this unit during a bathroom remodel completed last June. By this April, it had stopped working. I'll probably order it again, because it fits perfectly in the allotted space and it does a great job on my hair, as well as keeping bathroom clutter to a minimum by being directly wired into the wall. However, I am not pleased that it failed so soon. Perhaps this was a bad unit and the next will prove more durable.

I ordered two of these dryers. I had used them before and I trust their quality. But, when the product arrived, I found that there was no plug on the end of the cord. These units are made to be hard-wired into the electrical system. I didn't see that clearly spelled out in the descriptive text when I was looking for the product. As such, instead of going thru the hassle of returning both of the dryers I went to Ace Hardware and purchased some plugs to put on the cords. Now I'm just hoping and praying the connections don't heat up and set the house on fire.

But the dryers themselves work great!

The product details never mentioned that the dryer has to be hard-wired to an electrical outlet since it doesn't come with a plug. As a result I returned the dryer because I wanted a traditional plug-in type, however none of the other product reviews mention anything about this so I decided not to order via Amazon until the product details are more accurate.

Unlike other reviewers, I got 4 years use from this dryer, then the low speed switch quit working. I have no complaints about the longevity of the unit. I also don't have any complaints about how well it dries. It does a great job. It has a small footprint on the wall and is light and easy to use. So why just 3 stars? On high speed it is noisy enough that it makes my ears ring. I measured it with my sound level meter at 1 foot from the unit at 117 decibels. It should be labeled as requiring hearing protection while using, but then, if you used those ear muff style hearing protectors, you might get a pretty crazy new look.

I saw the reviews on the complete soft bonnet hair dryers and decided they are all very poor quality these days. So I got this bonnet to go on my hand-held dryer. The elastic on the end of the hose was too tight, but I simply un-sewed and inch or 2 of the elastic. Now it fits fine. This bonnet works just as well as my good quality complete bonnet hair dryer did that I had decades ago.

This dryer bonnet is perfect for drying my roller set at home. Fits my conair hand held perfectly, and fits large rollers no problem.

Light weight, can be folded for storage, and does the job well.

Okay I purchased this item thinking the worst that can happen is I lose fifteen bucks. I did my rollers I put on the bonnet. Pulled the draw string nice and tight and keep the temp hot on low setting. A few times the hose came off the blow dryer if I moved or made a fast turn in any direction. Its kind of meant for you to sit down somewhere stable and not move. So I sat in bed and watched a movie upright. After an hour and 10 mins my entire hair was dry and I wet set it. I have shoulder length hair.

The material does seem a little thin but it held up well and looks like it will last for a while. I would recommend this bonnet to anyone who does not want to spend loads of money going to the salon when they can do it themselves.

The only thing that would make this bonnet much better is if the draw string was elastic instead of cord.

The catch for the tightener broke before I even used it. I have to keep changing the temperature from medium to cool to avoid being burned. It is not comfortable. It's a horrible waste IMO.

I got this haridryer as a replacement for my t3 Evolution ($300 and overheated constantly). My hairdresser had a Babyliss one, and I wasn't ready to spend that much money on a hairdryer again, so after some research I chose this one. I love it. It is lightweight, powerful, and makes my hair shiny and easy to style. I would definitely recommend as it is also very affordable. Drugstore hairdryers just won't do the job. This dries thick hair in half the time.

This blow dryer was in the Mirage hotel in Vegas after using it a few times I found it online and bought it. I love it. Dries in 1/2 the time and leaves hair softer than others I've used.

I'm nuts about this hairdryer. A major step up from the drugstore clunkers I've always had! It's very comfortable to hold and feels well put together and sturdy, even though it's light in weight.

Compact, but extremely powerful, so it dries quickly. The buttons are set into the handle a bit, so you don't change speeds or heat accidentally. There's both a cool setting and a cool-shot button. The settings are well regulated, so the heat is hot without burning and does not dry out my hair, but leaves it soft and silky.

The cord is super long and has a little loop built into it near the handle, so you could hang it if you wanted to. No more ugly black cord -wonderful!

It's a pearly sort of white. Nifty.

Best of all, it's much quieter than any hairdryer I've ever had. No screeching background sound. I was starting to use earplugs with my old hairdryer; with this one, that is not at all necessary.

I've owned a lot of hairdyers in my life. This is the best ever.

I have never believed that a device that just blows air has been worth the kind of money the salon dryers cost--i admit it. I recently got my shoulder length hair cut into an angled bob, which requires me to actually style my hair as opposed to the "ponytail every day" habit that I had fallen into. As such I was really frustrated with my Conair $40 dryer, even though it was "ionic.". My newly short hair still took a long time to dry and I couldn't get it smooth with a good round brush, so I was having to use my chi straightening iron after I blew it out and still wasn't thrilled. I was at a friend's house when she got her daughter out of the bath and watched her blow her thick,super-long hair dry in less time than it was taking me to get my short hair dry at home. It was this Babyliss dryer. So I ran home, found it on amazon for much less than retail, ordered it with Prime shipping on Friday and have been waiting. I took my daughter to swim class this morning with dirty hair and a hat because I knew this was being delivered this afternoon! So it arrives, I shoo the kids into the basement, and washed my hair. I decided to try it with no product, just my normal shampoo and conditioner. HOLY SMOKES. It took quite literally 5 or 6 minutes TOPS from sopping wet and then towel dried to styled. And I mean STYLED. I look like I paid for a blowout, my hair is shiny and bouncy and looks so healthy! My 6 year old has the same haircut as me and I can't wait till her bath tonight to blow dry her hair, lol! I can't say anything yet about how long it wil last, but I am currently 100% thrilled with this product! I always have thought it was more technique than the tool, but I can't believe how fast and easy it was to get my hair looking like I went to a Blow-Dry bar! I never would have thought the dryer could make such a difference! If you're a skeptic like me...Try it!

I was looking for a good hair dryer and read many reviews and decided to go with this dryer. The reviews said that their hair was shiner along with faster drying time, etc. Well, the first time I used it I was amazed! I honestly didn't think it was possible for a hair dryer to actually make your hair shiner and softer. I love products, make-up, face/body, hair, etc. and I have not been this happy with a purchase for a very long time, if ever. I can't say enough about this hair dryer. It's lighter but has great power to dry your hair faster and my hair was extremely shiny and so much softer. I just couldn't believe it and never thought that was possible from a hair dryer!! All my other hair dryers left my hair dry and gross until products and straightening helped to make it feel better. And I use really good products and take good care of my hair. This is a must for the rest of my life. I hope it lasts long and they never stop making it. I will buy this dryer forever!

I bought this to help me get out of the house faster in the mornings. However, it took me an hour to dry my short curly hair. The diffuser did do what it was supposed to do though. I did end up giving it to someone else. Was not impressed by the design as my hand would get in the way and accidentally shut the dryer off. Maybe that's why it took me an hour. Would not recommend.

I have natural 3c/4a hair and I hated this conditioner, thus far. It felt good going on. It has lots of slip and detangled my hair like a dream. Hence 3 stars. But boy when I rinsed it out, my hair was dry like I had just clarified it. Thank goodness I had a standby leave-in to soften it up. I have the protein conditioner and I'm afraid to try that one. OMG! Hydratherma is my new staple product for 2012! The minute I put it in my hair it felt like newborn hair! Soft, silky, even with this natural hair of mine, my hair never felt so much like satin!

I purchased this Conditioner after reading about someone else using and researching this product. And I must say again this is my new staple product for 2012 and years to come! My hair dresser uses this dryer and it is rated as one of the best. I bought this dryer from Amazon and it never ever worked or even turned on. I called FHI warranty and they would not replace it because Amazon is not a certified dealer. My warranty paper work in the box did not state the item had to be from a certified dealer however the web site did. This is a GREAT hairdryer!! This is my 2nd time buying this dryer because I loved the first one so much. The picture for this is incorrect however. Everything is the same except it does not have the red heat button.. but I honestly have never known why you would need it anyway. This dryer is so lightweight! It is awesome for professional hairstylists having to do multiple blowdrys everyday (As I am a professional). It gets the hair so smooth and makes it so soft. I would definitely recommend this hairdryer to ANYONE! Whether you have straight, curly, frizzy, dull, etc. hair, it is perfect! Not to mention, the cord for it is very long so it's easy to maneuver around in the bathroom (or wherever you dry your hair..) ha :)

I am a cosmetologist and several years ago I ordered the FHI Nano 1900 hair dryer through my sales rep. When That dryer quit working I got online looking to replace it. Of course finding this dryer listed at this price I jumped to buy it right away but just a heads up to all... this dryer should have a blue button for a cool shot and a red button for a heat shot. The item that this company sends does not have the red button for a heat shot! The box this dryer comes in is the same picture as the dryer in it but the picture on this item listing is incorrect. I purchased two so it wasn't just a fluke.

This is the worst hair dryer ever, plus FHI Heat has the worst customer service. I bought the Nano from my hair salon. After 4 months of normal use, the air flow decreased to almost half. I sent the dryer into FHI to get repaired/exchanged, which costed me another $15 plus shipping. They sent me a new dryer, which stopped working after 10 months. There was a weird sound and then the air no longer flowed through the dryer. I talked to OSCAR at FHI's customer service department, who told me that he reports to the CEO. Oscar told me that there was nothing they could do, then proceeded to blame me as if I had dropped the dryer. FHI would not replace or repair the dryer. I paid $120 for this dryer and expected it to last me years, not break TWICE after only 1.5 years!! I had to go back to using my $19 REVLON hair dryer that is lasting 10 times longer than the FHI Nano.
