This is a great product. Does not leave your hair sticky and gooey. Holds hair firm, but doesn't make your hair hard. You can run your fingers through your hair with this stuff on it. Even my hairdresser was impressed.

I've been looking high and low for something to replace Sebastian's Twisted Taffy, which for me was, the ultimate hair fiber. It has since been discontinued for some strange reason.

Liquid Steel is the best substitute I've used so far, and I have tried at least 10 other fibers, gels and hair products. I can confirm what the other reviews have written:

1. It does not flake;

2. It holds your hair in place with surprising strength. I have short, thick wiry hair that has a mind of its own and liquid steel has no problem keeping it in place;

3. Liquid Steel "reactivates" when you wet your hair, giving it a wet look again when desired.

I work in Iraq and as you may have guessed it's hot here. Most hair gels will sweat and flake off but not this one buddy. I failed to mention I'm a firefighter and let me tell you even after a fire I just remove my mask and helmet and reshape it. With in a few seconds its back to rock hard. I love it and buy it by the case. If you have ever seen "Something about Mary" you might remember the "hair gel" scene, well thats this gel.

I purchased this for my 10-year old son, who uses it to spike his hair. He likes it well enough. It has good holding power and a pretty nice smell...manly, but light, for people who don't like strongly scented hair products. I wish it smelled a little stronger, as I do like a bit more scent than this has. The main complaint I have about the product is that the bottle it comes in is AWFUL. It has this weird, rubberized, dull, black cap that everything sticks to, and it just makes the bottle look ugly. Also, and even more importantly, it does not have a flip-open cap. You have to take the top completely off the bottle to use the gel...not as convenient/user friendly.

I was introduced to this product at a local upscale hair salon ... then they stopped carrying it. Natch! What I love about this gel is that it is strong without clumping or showing any flakes or white stuff in my hair, and it is renewable ... that is, I can splash a bit of water on my hands and tussle my hair a bit and I'm good to go without restyling from scratch. My salon used to charge me $18 per bottle, so this is a great price as long as you get free shipping!

I had one of these I purchased from a big box store quite a while back. Unfortunately I left it on a business trip to VA and couldn't find a replacement. After purchasing a more expensive diffuser I was so happy to find this one again. Fits well on my Chi blow dryer and doesn't get stuck on it like some of the other diffusers do

I have been using this product for YEARS now, the one I have finally broke and I wasn't able to find this brand in the stores anymore. Very glad to find on amazon. Received as described, the price is like 3 times what it used to be, but compared to Conair and Revlon brands, this one works the best, doesn't leave my hair frizzy. Very glad with it!

This is my second FHI blower. The first one worked well for approximately 10 years until it started sparking inside from an apparent short. This one is a more powerful and faster blower, drying my hair in about 5-8 minutes total. My hair is a little longer than shoulder length and is very fine with waves. This blower is equipped with a cool button which I use to finish when drying my hair. The settings are the same as my old dryer with two settings for heat and another two settings for speed! I also love the white color a lot!! I would recommend purchasing this blower for your home as well as your salon! It is professional quality and a very durable product! Enjoy!

I have naturally curly hair that I will usually wear curly (and the diffuser on this item is a must have) and occasionally blow dry straight. It does both wonderfully. It gets hot enough that it dries hair quickly, reducing frizz. For curly hair, try this dryer with Kenra Classic Curl Defining Creme 5 (3.4 oz).

As for shipping issues I had none. It came with 2 day prime and was in great condition.

I have very straight, fine hair, but I have lots of it. I'm always struggling to find something that will give me all-day volume.

My hairdresser used the large round Morrocan Oil hairbrush when I got my hair cut last time, so I thought I would order one and give it a go. Wow. The brush manages to hold onto my fine hair and really allows me to blow dry for lots of volume. The ceramic core means my hair dried quickly. The hairbrush feels great against my scalp--it's very soft--but yet managed to get through the thickness.

I never thought I would be able to duplicate the volume that I get when my pro hairdresser does my hair right at home. I'm pleasantly surprised. The brush is expensive (I've never spent anything close to this amount on a hairbrush before), but it's definitely worth it for me.

NEVER have spent this much on a hairbrush but the woman who cuts my hair highly recommended it (the round one)---she was right--it makes straightening and drying FAR easier than any other brush I have used.

I read wonderful things about this hairbrush so I bought it. I have fine hair and really would appreciate a brush that would gently work my hair. Because of the ceramic Ionic factors I really thought it would also control the fly away aspects. I found my hair to be more fly away than normal....but to be frank it is winter and dry...so I may not be giving it a fair shake. As far as drying more quickly....not really. I wish I had spent my money on a really substantial boars hair brush.
