I have really thick, unruly hair and i gotta say, when i need that extra sleek look for my relaxed hair (especially in between relaxers when my hair starts going curly) i turn to this product.
No other economical straightening product has ever really done the trick as effectively as this one, at least for me, and my hair tends to frizz very easily. It has a pleasant, sweet smell, glides through the hair smoothly, and doesn't really give me any undesired side effects when used properly. Because i live in south Florida, i deal with humidity and sweat a lot, and so i do have to occasionally flat iron the roots again in the mornings after having worn the product the day before, but after that, everything's okay.
I highly recommend this product if you want something efficient and are on a budget!

I picked up this product randomly from my local CVS around 4 years back. I've tried every other brand on the market include bed head, CHI, fekkai, Redken/ Joico but i always come back to this. Cheap HairWare Wall Mount Tool Holder
I bought this wall mount holder for Mom; it didn't work well for her because she would have to remove the tool attached to the tip of her blow drier which is too big to fit in the holder.
This product is very useful if your blow drier is not too big and you don't use the attachments that usually come with it, or if you don't mind removing these before inserting it in the holder.
This is not the kind of service I have come to expect from Amazon and it's probably the last time I've ordered an item that is not sold by Amazon directly.

The photo is misleading regarding the size of the holder. My hair dryer is not very big and still didn't fit. The only reason why I took the risk of ordering it was because I thought I could return it. I did not expect, though, that I would have to pay for the return. What an incredible dryer. I have a mountain of thick, long curly hair thanks to my biracial heritage so finding a dryer that can power through these curls without frying my hair has been my life's mission. I love the dryers at the Dominican salons I go to here in NYC but they always seem to be too darn hot and my hair looks great but my scalp is burned off! This dryer provides the right amount of heat with serious power and is easy on the arms. It's not the most quiet, but it's not exactly loud either. PRODUCT: This product does an incredible job. My bathroom is pretty well stocked with an arsenal of good products (Aveda, MoroccainOil, Kerastase, Pureology, J Beverly Hills, etc.), and my hair (wavy, long, fine but voluminous, and highlighted) vastly prefers Brocato products to these other brands in almost every category. (For those of you who use the above-named competitors and such, you know this is no small feat.) Obviously I hold Brocato products in very high regard, then. This product is no different, and is a personal favorite. I run a few drops through my wet/damp hair (combined with a blip of CurlKarma) and comb/scrunch, then air dry. It helps to make hair shiny, soft, smoother...and quite effectively, I might add. (It does not take long at all to see positive results from this product.) It also smells *incredible*, in my opinion. Please know that this smell is TO DIE FOR, but in something of a unisex type of way. If you want something with a floral scent or what have you, keep on looking. I happen to love the way it smells (yummy!), and consider it a huge plus!

After carefully researching 1 1/4" barrel curling irons online and reading as many reviews as I could, I finally settled on this one! So far, SO GOOD! I have fine, extremely straight, silky, FLAT hair of medium thickness/abundance and length, which resists curling and has never held a curl very well. I selected the barrel size because I wanted loose, but defined waves. I selected this particular curling iron because of its performance ratings it was said to do a great job QUICKLY with lasting effects. It has!!! This iron curls even my stubborn locks quickly (without damage), and after I spritz my curls with a little hairspray, the curls stay in 24+ hours with only slight droop after being slept on. I'm SO glad I did the research, am thankful for the honest REVIEWS, and better yet, I found a NEW one through Amazon for less than half the price that these irons are sold in stores! Gets hot fast, stays hot. Good weight and balance. I really like the variable heat control, and that it's separate from the power button.The power button is in an unfortunate location, however, and I've twice accidentally turned it off without noticing until I'm several curls in and it doesn't seem to be curling anymore. This is a design flaw the on/off switch is in a bad place, right near where you tend to move your thumb a lot while curling, and while it clicks "on" with an subtle sound and tactile "click," the switch toggles "off" like a ninja, happily stealthing into the "off" position at the slightest whisper of perceived intent. I'd even read in other reviews where others would accidentally touch the off button during use, so I thought I was prepared. The design and location of the on/off switch makes the iron feel shy and a bit too introverted, so you'll want to get in the habit of glancing at that button after every curl or two.
Otherwise, the iron makes beautiful, smooth curls that set faster and have a longer shelf-life than other irons I've used. And it looks great on my vanity next to my pink zebra hair blower.
I'd recommend this curling iron.

As a first time curling iron buyer, I put a few hours into researching which curling iron to buy (based off customer reviews and what I could find on the internet). After said research, I narrowed down my choices to this iron and another Hot Tools iron; I went with this one because the other one was sold out and this one was Prime eligible.The main issue is a pretty big one, in my opinion where you place your thumb to control the bumper (not sure if there's a term for this) gets hot. This is NOT supposed to happen. Even the crappy drug store irons that my sister owns have a nice rubber area to protect you from the heat. It was fine at first, probably because it hadn't heated up to the set temperature. Then all of a sudden my thumb got hot and nearly burned. I actually put on a pair of leather gloves to finish doing my hair that day because the heat on my hand was unbearable.
The other issue has already been mentioned, and that is where the power switch is. It's in such an easy spot to accidentally turn off and not notice, and it actually has happened to me a couple times. This isn't a big problem but it is a flaw in design.
Overall I would not recommend this iron to anyone.

This is actually my 2nd HotTools Pink Titanium Curling Iron. I just recently purchased the 1.25 size and this one 1.5 size. I just love this iron. Heats up sooo quick at a high level heat. It doen't pinch any hair when releasing the curl. I love the gray titanium barrel. Also,the cord swivles easy and the cord itself is smooth and not a tangling kind. I am a daily curling iron Queen. I use it on myself and my 8 year old daughter everyday. It does not sizzle or burn in any way. LOVE this iron. And I would put myself in the fuss-bud catagory!!! My hair type is 4A natural kinky/curly and I mostly wet bun or blow out and flat iron, occasionally I will wear it curly as a wash and go. When I do use heat, I prefer for it to be administered in the most efficient way to prevent any additional damage and stress to my hair. So I don't use cheap styling appliances. With natural hair, it really needs to air dry straight or have a lot of heat and low fan/wind to effectively straighten to a smooth blow out. Otherwise it just frizzes too quick and burns hair unnecessarily, or the lack of heat doesn't leave it that smooth. Unfortunately, this blow dryer had a lot of bark but no bite. It was loud, felt powerful, but the temperature and fan combinations were not optimal. Either too much wind or too little heat. I just gave up after 1 section of hair and went back to my CHI Turbo, which is consistent in its results but can sometimes get TOO hot. For the record, I have used T3, CHI, and JRS Superstar Blow Dryers, all work well, and that is the point of reference that I am comparing it to. If you have relaxed or straight hair that doesnt require a lot of heat to get a smooth finish, you may like this dryer.

I've had this hair dryer for about a month and wasn't sure I liked it in the beginning. My previous dryer was a T3, which is hard to beat, but just too expensive to buy another. 2. Much quicker drying. It took about half the time to dry my hair as my old dryer.
3. I like the three heat button warm, not as warm, and cool.
4. It still has a cool shot button you can press WHILE drying your hair that takes it right to cool air.
5. It has a two speed button for drying power.
6. The dryer feels substantial in my hand but not overly heavy for a full-size dryer.
I didn't use the diffuser or the concentrator attachments so am not sure how they compare to other dryers.
Other reviewers have mentioned getting their hair caught (sucked into) the dryer. I have medium long hair and this was not a problem for me at all.

I am realistic. Hair dryers have one basic job: blow air. If you get a powerful enough dryer, that part is taken care of, and the rest is all about personal preference and convenience features.
First step: getting the attachment to stay on. I use the concentrator. It took a few minutes it looked like it was supposed to screw on, but it actually snapped on, and it seems like it will stay attached. Definitely a point in this dryer's favor it's pretty annoying to have the concentrator fall off and get tangled in my hair while I'm drying it. (Unfortunately, during the drying process, my hair got caught several times in the join between the dryer and the attachment. Not fun.)
Next step: dry hair. OK, this is the heaviest dryer I've ever used. Hopefully that means it's sturdy and durable and will work well for a few years, and maybe my biceps will even look a little better.
As to the claim that hair dries 50% faster come on, it does not. I have had a couple of ion generator models and honestly didn't notice much of a difference. This dryer has a white light to convince you it is producing ions. OK, that's persuasive. I do have to say that after drying, my hair is a little bit silkier, but not so the average person who is not me would notice.
Final step: putting it away. This is a large dryer. The handle does not fold and the cord is not retractable. It is not a dual voltage product which makes sense because you would not use it for travel way too big and heavy.
To be fair, I did realize when I chose this dryer that it didn't fulfill some of my convenience preferences. I really like a folding handle and a retractable cord. Dual voltage is a plus, but I have another dryer specifically for travel, it resides in my suitcase full time. This one definitely does the job, but I wish it did so without snagging my hair. This will not be my full time dryer.

If you get a powerful enough dryer, that part is taken care of, and the rest is all about personal preference and convenience features.
First step: getting the attachment to stay on. I use the concentrator. It took a few minutes it looked like it was supposed to screw on, but it actually snapped on, and it seems like it will stay attached. Definitely a point in this dryer's favor it's pretty annoying to have the concentrator fall off and get tangled in my hair while I'm drying it. (Unfortunately, during the drying process, my hair got caught several times in the join between the dryer and the attachment. Not fun.)
Next step: dry hair. OK, this is the heaviest dryer I've ever used. Hopefully that means it's sturdy and durable and will work well for a few years, and maybe my biceps will even look a little better.
As to the claim that hair dries 50% faster come on, it does not. I have had a couple of ion generator models and honestly didn't notice much of a difference. This dryer has a white light to convince you it is producing ions. OK, that's persuasive. I do have to say that after drying, my hair is a little bit silkier, but not so the average person who is not me would notice.
Final step: putting it away. This is a large dryer. The handle does not fold and the cord is not retractable. It is not a dual voltage product which makes sense because you would not use it for travel way too big and heavy.
To be fair, I did realize when I chose this dryer that it didn't fulfill some of my convenience preferences. I really like a folding handle and a retractable cord. Dual voltage is a plus, but I have another dryer specifically for travel, it resides in my suitcase full time. This one definitely does the job, but I wish it did so without snagging my hair. This will not be my full time dryer.

This is a good set and the price is ok since I don't use the straightener. The bigger version is a bit heavy. The company I bought from was bad(SF products) although Amazon took care of it. Buy from Amazon and at least you will get some protection. This one I bought has overheat problem for the first one and cosmetic issue on the second one.

Wow this little thing kicks out some strong air. My hair is dried quickly without frizz I used to get from store brand driers. Light weight is an understatement. It's a feather. I already had their hair dryer and knew this would not be a disappointment. I did give the straightening iron to my niece (she loves it) because I have curly hair and it was really tiny. I ordered their standard size straightening iron. Really professional products!!!
