I bought this holder for my bathroom at home. The seller was prompt to ship and the item arrived in great condition. However, the product itself has some major flaws that make me consider returning it.

I have a larger than average hairdryer, and the hole in the holder can only accommodate a tip of it. The iron holders are also quite small and would probably not accommodate the standard or wide flat irons (my narrow one fits fine). The additional outlets on the side are useless because the large hair dryer plug covers up the remaining 2 outlets when plugged in, and there is no way to turn it the opposite way because the holes for the prongs are not the same size and the wide prong doesn't fit the narrow hole. The instructions for installation are not easy to read and understand, plus the hardware for wall mounting is very flimsy. I drilled the indicated 1/4" holes for the plastic anchors just to find out that the holes needed to be smaller and/or the screws longer to hold this heavy construction in place. I do not recommend to mount this heavy piece on drywall only, without the backup of a wall stud.

I still was able to install the holder using alternative hardware, however, the final construction with the flat iron and hair dryer, and all these ugly black cords sticking out in all directions, looks so hideous that the whole point of cleaning up my countertop and decluttering my bathroom is missed.

In summary: great idea, poor execution. I better keep all my stuff under the sink.

The hair care appliance holder is a must with Moms who have little ones who could by accident come in contact with a hot iron. It keeps it up and away from the liitle ones plus has its own power strip so you don't have lots of cords running everywhere (another hazard). It's a great product!

I am a total shampoo snob, and usually buy Alterna, Paul Mitchell, Back to Basics, Enjoy, Biolage, etc., but don't really use hair products out of the shower. Other than shampoo and conditioner, this is the only hair product you will need. Young Again makes your hair feel like that of a child soft and shiny. My hair is highlighted and can be very dry. Add a few squirts to wet hair prior to combing and the comb slides through easily. People comment on how blonde my hair looks even though the color is the same as it has always been. Plus it is the perfect size for air travel exactly 100 mls.

I have been using this model of hair dryer for over 20 years. When my previous one quit on me I bought another one. I have a sleep number bed in my house and it says not to use any products with "ionic" whatever. Most hair dryers out there are now "ionic" so I kept to this dryer. Good ole reliable. They changed the air filter at the end to a mesh, liked the screen type better but still works okay.

I first tried this hair dryer when visiting my sister. It's just what I wanted. Didn't want to be holding up a heavy dryer but wanted the power and variety of settings that this one has. It's lightweight but has 3 heat settings and 2 power settings. I use it every day. Very happy with it. The first one I bought had a burning smell right away when I turned it on. I returned it to the vendor and have used its replacement for about a year with no problem.

I have been a loyal consumer of Fekkai Straight Away in spite of its outrageous price. Unfortunately, it appears it has been discontinued. (Don't get me started on how I hate those uppity companies who keep changing their products.) I have to wear my hair up every day, and this product seemed to be the one that would do the trick when I was reading what it was supposed to do. Unfortunately, it is not really a gel product, it is like a glossing product. It doesn't have any "hold" factor at all. On the plus side, it smells good, and if you are looking for more of a glossing product, this would probably work well for you. It just didn't work for what I was looking for.

My hairdresser used this on my hair before drying my moderately curly shoulder length hair. My hair was so soft and shiny! I bought some at Amazon for a great price and tried it. I've tried many straightening/smoothing/frizz control products, but this is the best! It even cuts down on the time it takes to blow dry my hair.

My son also has curly hair and wore it really short. Before he was going to get a haircut, I suggested he try it on his wet hair and let it dry naturally. His curls were so soft looking , and looked so nice that he's wearing it longer and curly now, and it looks really cute. Would definitely recommend!!

I am a AA woman with all natural 4a cottony hair. I stopped doing my hair at home about 10 yrs ago, when I was relaxed, so I rarely ever used a blow dryer and mind you the blow dryer I had was just to get by. Now that I am natural, I do 99% of my hair styling at home and needed something better.

My previous dryer (different brand) only had a concentrator attachment for blowing out my hair so I used it in conjunction with my Aveda denman brush. That was TORTURE! My arm would ache before I was even half way through which caused me to take 2 min breaks in between and during the process the brush handle would be come slippery due to my hair being wet or from the leave in conditioner which only added to the headache of blowing my hair out. It basically took me 20-30mins to blow dry 5" of hair :(

I used this blow dryer 2 weeks ago to blow out my hair using the comb attachment to do mini two strand twists. I swear it took me less than 10 mins to dry my hair. I was so happy and it was so EASY! The reviews are telling the truth that the combs DO FLEX unlike the previous model from decades ago, where the combs would break off jaggedly at the smallest hair knot. I always recommend and practice untangling the hair before blow drying, regardless of the attachment.

In summary: I HIGHLY recommend!!! :)

My Conair 1875 Yellowbird has worked for years, but I wanted to try something different and give it to my daughter. This dryer was light in weight and thorough in drying. The comb attachment didn't pop off or get hot like my Conair and the teeth on the comb didn't dig into my scalp when drying. Also, it didn't take as long to dry my hair which is medium in length and thickness. A good dryer for a modest price.

I'm a black woman with really thick corse hair. I've decided to go natural which I'm thinking about going back to relaxers. It takes me three hours to do my hair. But this blow dryer has definitely cut down the amount of time spent on my hair. The best thing about this blow dryer is that it comes with a comb. I needed a blow dryer with a comb attachment in order to blow out my hair and this dryer is great for the price. My only complaint is that the comb attachment got soft and part of it bent from the heat almost as if it melting. I kept having to stop to let it cool of for a bit out of fear that it would melt. Previous comb attachments that I've used were made from a harder plastic. Even with the 'stop and go' technique I used, I was still able to dry my hair fairly quickly. I can see not being able to use the comb attachment for much longer b/c a few of the teeth of the comb are permanently bent. Overall it's a good dryer, easy to use, great heat settings, but the comb attachment isn't great.

I love this stuff. I have curly hair, which tends to be a bit dry at times and since using this I have seen a noticeable difference. My hair feels healthier, and doesn't frizz up as much anymore. I think it's well worth trying. I'm not saying it will work for everyone, but it doesn't hurt to try. I have tried a lot of different products and so far this is one I have purchased more than once because it actually does what it claims to do.

I was looking for a travel hairdryer to take on a trip to Europe. I chose this one because it has dual voltage, is foldable, and is available through Amazon Prime for quick shipping. It is rather bulky, but I suppose if it were smaller it wouldn't have the power and other nice features like the speed settings and "cool" button. It dries my hair, and i have noticed a lot less frizzies and fly-aways since i started using it. The cord is on the short side, i'd say maybe 4-5 feet long when stretched. The color is pretty much exactly as it looks in the picture, definetly pink. The cool air function is very nice to have. It's light weight and fits in my hand very comfortably. It's not too loud. All in all, does what it is supposed to do in a quick and comfortable fashion. I definetly recommend this to anyone willing to dry their hair within a few feet of the outlet they plug it into!

I have fine hair and already own a Sonia Kashuk paddle brush that has a mixture of boar and nylon bristles, so I figured this brush would work great too. The boar bristles in this brush are great for distributing oils and the nylon bristles are great for grabbing onto my hair (which is thick even though it's fine). I also like that this brush does not cause static flyaways or pull and tug at my hair. This is a great, affordable brush that makes blowouts so much easier.

Important notes: brushes with natural bristles are recommended for all hair types as they do less damage to hair. Also, if you were wondering what size to get, the smaller the diameter of the brush, the more lift and volume it provides.

I've had the same issue with round brushes for years, they all have some type of grip product located on the handle which always grabs a few strands of my hair and proceeds to rip them out which hurts (I have fine hair so any pulled out isn't a good thing). An issue of my InStyle magazine came and this brand of brush was recommended, at the price point it's at it's unbeatable, so I logged onto Amazon, ordered and it was here within a few days. I love that the handle of the brush is all one piece, no rubber grippers, etc. to pull strands out. The boar bristle and nylon mix works fantastic to grab my hair, pull it straight and add shine while doing so. I highly recommend this brush.

This is my one of my favorite round brushes (the others being the Marilyn Ovali and the Marilyn Tuxedo), I have shoulder length, fine straight hair, but lots of it, and I use this brush about every other time I do my hair, and sometimes on its own as it's really fast. Most of the time I use two brushes (can be different ones) at a time (one in my hair, and one styling another part). The Spornette doesn't grip the hair as well as the Marilyn brush, but it does provide a better lift, and I've had my Spornette porcupine (no porcupines used;)for a long time, and haven't lost any bristles. Guess I got lucky.

Mine is VERY sturdy, and very easy to handle. It's a little on the heavy side for such a small brush, but I only paid seven plus dollars for it, and it was well worth it. There are many Youtube blowout videos and quite a few of them set the hair with the brushes as they go along (some use four at a time)...and I've seen them with all sorts of round brushes...metal, boar, porcupine). No matter what brush you choose, for the round brush part, your hair needs to be almost dry. One of my favorite round brushes (the Tuxedo) sat around for years because I didn't know that...my hair was just too damp. You live and learn.

This brush is wonderful for the price point. Used with my new Ionic hair dryer (not expensive, but a good one), my hair looks very shiny and professionally styled even when I only use this brush. It's easy to get that "Just came from the salon look" after you've practiced a while Enjoy!

(#1 REVIEWER)I use this brush to blow dry and style my hair. This brush has all wood handle, it feels comfortable in my hand, and feels solid. The bristles are made out of a mix of boar bristles and nylon bristles. The bristles are relatively stiff, but not as hard as metal bristles of some brushes, and I find it pretty gentle on my scalp. I like that the bristles have no knobs which I found tangle and tag on my hair.

Passing on a tip I got from my hairdresser: she told me to never to brush my hair when it is very wet. It is better to wait a bit until it just slightly damp. When hair is plumped up with water it has an ability to stretch like elastic, but it if you pull it too far it will snap. She told me to use a wide-tooth comb if I need to comb it right out of the shower.

I really like the results I get with this brush, I recommend it!
