The hair dryer is great. It is very powerful, so if you are looking for a low speed, this isn't the dryer for you. Dries hair very quick but impossible to style using dryer and round brush. I tried to return for a dryer with lesser power. Beauty Basics told me Solano doesn't take their items back so I should call them about returning it to them. I phoned Solano. They do give you 30 days and said they would switch it out for me with another dryer even though I didn't buy it from them. They said they do not sell to Beauty Basic. I don't know where they get their products from. So Solano is reputable, Beauty Basics is not.It works great. Takes less time to blow dry my hair. I will recommend this to my friends for sure.

I'm surprised to see a 1 star rating for this. I'm not sure what this is "supposed" to smell like, but it smells really, really good. My daughter and I both use it. She has long layered hair and I have a short layered cut. For us, this product works great. We can scrunch our hair and let it dry naturally for a curlier look, or blow it dry straight. It is more liquid than regular styling lotions, but I think that's because the thickeners in other lotions are some of the chemicals that Giovanni tries to avoid. This product has a 2 rating on the Cosmetics Safety Database, which is very good. Of course, 0 is best, but good luck trying to find a styling lotion that is rated 0. After the first couple of times pouring too much into my hand and having it run over, I figured out how much to use, and we are very happy with this product.

I've got the type of hair where I have to try dozens of curling products to find one that will actually maintain my natural curls without them frizzing or falling apart. Since my last favorite curling product stopping production 4 years ago, this is the next best I have found yet. It actually doesn't smell awesome, but in all seriousness, no curling product I have ever used makes me want to sniff my own hair. It has a sticky feel if you run your hands through your curls after they dry, and it will last 2 days max before you need to wash it out, but it certainly does hold natural curls well. I use it after applying Giovanni's Vitapro fusion leave in hair treatment on damp hair, then apply the styling lotion, and let it air dry, and my curls are holding well within 10 minutes. I tend to like the softer look I get the following day after using this, though by the third day, a wash is necessary. Most styling products are gels or sprays, so this one can seem a little weird because it's a liquid. It takes a bit of getting used to (you have to pour it carefully into your palm, not your fingers, because it will just run through your fingers), but it was worth it for me. It's an unusual product that works really well with my somewhat unusual hair.I have thin, curly hair. Since most curly hair is thicker than mine, styling products for curly hair are usually too heavy for me, but the Sunset Styling Lotion is light enough that I get defined curls and as much body as my super-thin hair is probably capable of having. I apply it right after getting out of the shower, and then let my hair air-dry into curls. Once it's dry, I fluff it up and maybe put on just a little gel to keep it from getting too frizzy. Once my hair is dry and fluffed, the curls don't have that crunchy, product-y feel.
This stuff is also good for end-of-day-revitalizing, once again because it's so weightless. If I'm going out after work, I'll use it to get some definition back.
Probably not for everyone, but I couldn't live without it.

I use a lot or a little, depending on how curly or straight I want my hair.Works great with just hand scrunching and air drying (for wavy effect) or with a diffuser (for more curl).
Also makes drying my hair straight easier and takes less time to dry. I only need to use the flat iron to get rid of a few waves.

I don't make many reviews, but these towels are the BEST for salon usuage. I have a natural hair care salon, and many of my clients have locs (known as dreads to some people). After reading the reviews on these towels, I was very excited to give them a try. As soon as they were out of the box, I wondered if I had made a mistake. Sure enough, I have since returned them. Personally I didn't think they worked any better than my cotton towels. My major complaint, though, is that the material is like hearing fingernails on a chalkboard. It's the type that will catch on any hangnail or piece of dry skin, making it impossible for me to use them. I would not recommend these if the feeling of material like that gives you the willies like it does for me. Will be ordering more bleach-proof cotton ones asap.

I found out about this product about five years ago and it has done wonders for my scalp. I suffer from several skin irritations and have sensitive skin and scalp. I also relax my hair. Neo Leaf when you first put it on your scalp, you can feel it work on your scalp immediately. You are supposed to use it after you shampoo your hair but the tonic can smell if you use too much(but it is not a bad smell). I use it as a preshampoo treatment, I just use it the night before. Your scalp will be rejuvenated and your hair will have a nice shine to it afterwards. If you suffer from dandruff or other problems with your scalp I highly recommend you purchase this product. I got my mother hooked on it now as her hair was thinning out. It can be expensive but it lasts a long time.

Just opened a new salon and wanted something sleek yet effective. Found these on Amazon and fell in love with the look & price.Items shipped fast but hoods were cracked during shipping. I called customer service and the hoods were replaced within 2 business days. Able to open the salon with beautiful updated equipment and my clients and staff are so pleased. Older clients are a little leery of sitting under them but I still have the old fashion hooded dryers to cater to the older clients.
Drying is very quiet and the temperature range is great. I will definitely purchase more as my salon grows! Thank you so much for your excellent customer service.
Directions could have been a bit easier but my husband did a great job hanging them.
(Sidenote: If you are not a handy person, get the dryers professionally installed so that you wont have injuries to you or your clients. I've heard horror stories about improper installation.)

I really love the space saving abilities. I am in a small studio so all the room I can get is good. The dryer itself had a crack face shield when it arrived. I emailed the and they shipped a replacement right a way! However I need to contact them and ask if they have some sort of filter for the inside where the fan is. I was drying my guest hair and as it was drying it started to fly around and got caught in the fan blade. Had to hurry and stop the dryer and then cut her hair out of the fan
