This dryer has the irritating feature of automatically shutting off long before I'm finished using it; it can only then be turned back on a few minutes later. Perhaps it's an inherent safety feature to prevent it from overheating, but even if so shouldn't it be designed to not overheat until it goes well past normal usage?

These hair dryers are made very well. This one replaces the same model that finally broke after at least three years of daily use. I think it only broke because it did not get cleaned well enough. These are light and the rubberized finish gives it a great feel. I wouldn't normally review a hair dryer but I have to say that Revlon makes the best ones compared to others my family has tried.

I have owned this travel dryer for several years and have been very pleased with it. The dryer is so lightweight that it is a pleasure to use. I particularly appreciate the concentrator, which can be hard to find on other travel dryers in its price point.

In terms of durability, it has accompanied me on all of my travels, both domestically and abroad, including a month-long stay in Germany. When I stayed at the ultra-luxurious Shangri-La Hotel in Vancouver a year ago, I was not surprised to find that the hotel had chosen to stock their high-end guest bathrooms with this model.

Because I was so happy with its performance on my trips, I ultimately switched to using it daily once my at-home, full-sized dryer melted on me. Perhaps because I have overused it, it recently started overheating. After reading reviews on competitor dryers in this price point, I believe this dryer is still my best bet and will be purchasing it again. This time, however, I will use it only when traveling to extend its life.

Ordered this product over a year ago and it has been a lifesaver when traveling internationally. Very good hair dryer and switching between voltage settings is so easy. Manufacturer warns not to use the high setting when switched to 220volts, and believe me, you won't need it as the low setting at 220 volts functions as 'high'. VERY SMALL which is great for packing, but again, very good quality hairdryer despite its size (not your typical cheap travel dryer). When I purchased it, it was on sale, so my price was significantly lower than the current price. I would suggest shopping around to see if you can find it cheaper. Additionally, if shipping costs deter you, I have seen this same product at Linens N Things.

I can't tell you just how pleased I am with this brush. It's lightweight, yet well constructed and easy to manipulate even if you have small hands like I do! The bristles are great, hair doesn't get tangled in them and the VOLUME you end up with after drying is fabulous. Hair drying and styling is quick AND easy. My hair dresser used this brush while blow drying my hair and I like the style so I looked it up on amazon and bought the brush and it really works and does the job. Its a little spikey on the head or to the touch but it does the job.

I got this hair brush for a new haircut with bangs. It is an amazing brush! I love everything about it: the rubber handle, which is very easy to use and it does not slip out of your hand as you dry your hair, the size of the brush itself is great for curling the bangs and drying hair overall. It is also antistatic and it is extremely helpful with fine hair! A definite buy!

Great brush for blow drying hair! Creates body, increases drying time, and you can't beat the price. The bristles are stiff and can be uncomfortable if run along the head using too much pressure. I use a separate brush to remove tangles.

Same dryer that my hairstylist uses. Provides salon-quality results in little time--I can straighten my long, curly hair in less than 20 minutes without the need to finish with a flat iron. The dryer includes two nozzle attachments that allow for concentrated airflow. A little heavy, but not unbearable. The cord is very long, which I find a plus. Excellent workmanship, quality product, great results!

I purchased this hair dryer over 5 years ago, at the time I paid $150.00. It is one of the best products I have ever purchased. The only reason I am looking to replace mine now is that where the power comes into the dryer is loose, not sure if it can be fixed. The dryer works great though. I purchased this mirror to replace one I had for 8 years. It came with 3 suction cups on the back. I attached it to my bathroom mirror ready to check it out. When I had finished, I tried to get the suction cups to release, and the whole glass mirror crashed to the tile floor. The frame was still stuck, and the suction cups were too, but the mirror was in pieces on the floor. If you buy this product, don't use all the suction cups. One will do. I would send it back but it would cost almost as much in postage as I paid for it.

The diameter is actually 7 inches with a 2 inch border to make it the advertised 9 nine inches. The mirror fogs up as soon as steam develops in the shower. It took too long to arrive, and it turned out to be worthless. I am disgusted with my purchase.

What a disappointment! The mirror was not attached to the base. The base had an impact mark. I took the mirror out of the package and right away it slipped off the base. There were finger prints on the mirror as if it had been sold before. I instantly sent it back!

This is the worst waste of money I have ever had. the only good thing about this mirror is the suction cups. 3x magnification??? more like 9x !!! you have to have your face right on the mirror or it looks like you are standing by one of those funny distorted amusment park mirrors.

My suggestion would be not to waste your money on it. its a joke.

So, yeah, it mounts in your bathroom with the suction cups, and once it's mounted, it stays put pretty well. Unfortunately, it has so far never actually been "fogless." Get a good shower going, and the mirror fogs up in record time. Splash some water on it, and you can see yourself for half a minute, but overall, this is a disappointment.

This was my first time buying/using hair extensions and I was not disappointed. I had my hair dresser examine the extensions too and he said they were pretty good quality! I've worn them a few times now and am very happy. They do thin out towards the bottom but not too much. Some extensions have an awkward amount of thickness at the bottom, but I thought these mimic natural hair. I bought the jet black color, which is a little too dark but it blends well. I got scared by some reviews that said the one shade off jet black was too light. I think I would have been fine either way. The only thing I don't like, which was why I put 4 stars is that the ends tend to clump together and get stringy. If you carry a small comb in your purse you can comb it out and fix it, but if you don't have that, it can start to look a little nappy.

I found out after I received this GHD Ceramic Heat styler that it is counterfeit. I called GHD, and they told me what to look for in order to tell whether it was a counterfeit. This one is definitely counterfeit since the plug is a simple two-prong one. The genuine GHD has a reset/test switch on the plug that looks like the one that is on a hairdryer. They also told me that there should be no hologram on the label on the cord. This one did have a hologram on the cord label.I needed it for a trip, so I was very disappointed. The GHD Ceramic heat styler that I bought was shipped from Amazon, but was sold by EBeautyElectronics.

I was really worried about spending so much on an iron. I mean come on, how could it be worth that kind of money? But it IS. It works great, gives me salon-pretty hair, and is easy to use. I had a CHI Turbo before and thought it was good, but this blows it away. My hair looks naturally beautiful rather than made up and the effect lasts for days. I flat iron my hair once a week, either flat or curled, and it stays nice until I wash it. LOVE IT. If it broke I would not hesitate to buy another.

After a week of nail-biting anticipation, my ghd IV styler arrived ahead of schedule today to my complete delight. I tore it out of the box only to be deflated when I realized that it was a 2 prong outlet with no hologram on either the inside of the unit or on the power cord. After all the time I spent researching online and thinking that Amazon.com was an approved retailer, I was duped and wanted to throttle Amazon for selling counterfeits. I did NOT buy through the marketplace, but from Amazon directly, since I thought it would surely be selling the real thing. WRONG! I called up the ghd North America hotline and spoke with a representative, who confirmed that mine was a fake and Amazon.com is not authorized in the US. I had seen Amazon on an approved list of stockists on the ghd UK website, which it is....in the UK only(amazon.co.uk). Some reviewers have reported that theirs have been successfully registered by ghd, which is why I think that both real and fake stylers are mixed together in the shipments. Too bad that mine turned out to be one of the fake ones. As a product (however counterfeit it is), I would still rate the iron as a 4 or 5--it does straighten as well as others have reported. Because it is NOT the product I expected to receive and there is no warranty because I can't register it, I give this review an overall 1.

BOTTOM LINE: Buy at your own risk--if you want to take a chance of getting a real one shipped to you, that's your call. Personally, if you don't care whether or not you have a real ghd or not, you can find a cheaper one ($70-80) on other sites---no use paying double for something that's just as fake! I'm returning mine and buying a cheaper iron (not ghd) elsewhere. Hope this helps!

I have frizzy, curly hair and this is what it took to tame it. The grocery store $40 straightener I had before made my hair feel like straw and took 30 minutes (going over and over the same area) to work. The $240 I paid for this was totally worth it. My hair doesn't curl back midday and feels silky soft.

I'd recommend buying the styler in a store though. I went to Sephora, and the salespeople gave me all sorts of samples of ghd hair products to try, and tips.

Amazon offered the lowest price compared to Sephora, [..] and Folica. The shipping was fast and the customer service was awesome. Received the product day after I ordered it. I've tried other brands, including Babyliss which recently died. I found other flatiron styler to pulls my hair or fried it, ending up with lots of split ends. The GHD heats up quickly. One pass is all it takes to straightened my locks. I find the GHD easier to use than most. It feels very ergonomic in my hand. I have thick course hair. I was able to straightened my hair in 5 minutes instead of the usual 20 minutes. With 3 kids, time is priceless. Love it! I have no regrets. I recommend this product through Amazon.

I usually only spend about $30 for a hair dryer, so this purchase was tough for me. I've crested the "50" hill a few years ago and my hair is changing. Up until 6 months ago I colored my grey, but due to aging brain cells, I decided to start going natural and highlighed my hair to start the 'blending of the grey.' Much to my dismay, my hair became fly-away and dry, so my hair stylist suggested I use sulfate free shampoos. I did six months ago, and it made a difference, but I was still not happy because my hair still felt dry. She then suggested a new hair dryer, this one specifically. I swallowed hard and purchased this dryer. The first time I used it, I realized I had a quality product. It's a little heavier than I was used to, but it is well balanced so it's not 'clunky.' The big difference is in my hair. The heat settings are perfect--my other dryers blew REALLY warm on the warm setting, whereas this one is slightly warm. When you hit the cool shot button, the air is instantly cool regardless of whether you were previously on warm or hot. My hair looks much more healthy and feels soft--the fly-aways flew away! I highly recommend this dryer.

This is a perfect hair dryer. It gets very warm (but not scalding), has a super long cord, is reasonably lightweight and the weight is distributed proportionately so that your hand or wrist do not fatigue while drying your hair. The price is much less on Amazon than anywhere else. I rate this product an A.

I have owned one before, and this one is no different. This dryer blows hard and hot. It has a very long flexible cord that gives you plenty of room to move around. This model has an updated rear filter (the cap on the motor that prevents your hair from getting into the motor) that stays on better than the previous models.
