I was pleasantly surprised with this product, the color was undetermined so when it was delivered the color was purple and I love it, the dryer is heavier because its a professional DC dryer. Purchased this dryer after my first Infinity finally burned out after about 8 years of use. Love how this dryer keeps your hair smoother and prevents frizzy dryness. One BIG complaint about this new version: the cord is 3 FEET shorter than the older model! I now need an extension cord to use it! That's the only reason for 4 stars, if it still had the long cord, it would be a perfect 5! The purple color is pretty, too!

I have very thin, very fine hair and have found that the new style of blow dryers with ionic technology do nothing for my hair except to make it depressingly limp and flat. For this reason I looked everywhere for a blow dryer without ionic technology with no success, until I came across this product. Yes, this dryer does have ionic technology. However, it also has something none of the other dryers I looked at have...an on/off switch for said technology. Finally! That said, the dryer is a bit heavier than I like, but I am smaller than average, so what may feel heavier to me may be unnoticeable to the next person. Also, this dryer doesn't get as hot as other dryers I have used in the past, even on high. This is probably better anyway for my hair type but may not be acceptable for someone with thick hair as it will obviously take longer to dry. The cool shot button is great and provides a nice, cool air flow even with the dryer set on high heat. The cord is of average length, about 6 ft., so if you prefer/need a longer cord you may want to look elsewhere.

This product is good for its price tag. Except its not as heavy duty as mentioned, the first time i used it, it stopped working. Since my hair is coarse and had long hair, it had difficulty doing the job. If you have a short hair and need to maintain the length, then this product does its job.

Used the Andis 60110 only once in the past month. My previous trimmers were Wahl with the variable blade adjustment in conjunction with the comb. This Andis model does not have one. The operation was quiet and the cut was smooth. Since I own another Andis trimmer for my pet, I do not foresee having problems with this model. If you do not mind simple haircuts, this model is for you.

This purchased this one on web because I think it is a good looking with a reasonable brand. But the first time I use it, it because too hot, and almost burned my skin, after 10 min. of use. I did put oil to the blade before and during the usage, I guess it does not help a lot. I returned it as a result.

We've had this dryer just a short time, so I can't speak as to the longevity of it, but, at least in the short term, we love this dryer! It's as powerful as the K-9 II, is very sturdy, and works beautifully. We've purchased many K-9 IIs over the years for our grooming shop, and they tend to last about a year or two at most. I'm very anxious to see if this one lasts as long. Especially since it's quite a bit cheaper than the K-9 II. I'll keep you posted.....

It's now more than a year later, and I'm still very pleased with this dryer!

While this is a good product in that it performs as expected, I think similar products are available in drug stores for a fraction of the price. It did leave my hair very soft and protected it from the heat, but my hair felt heavy after use. All in all, would only recommend if the price were halved. Otherwise, just hit your nearest drugstore.

I have what can be characterized as "4c" type curls; very kinky, coily hair. I have tried just about every natural hair brand for African-American hair (Shea Moisture, Jane Carter, etc.). This hair lotion is the best I have tried. It stretches out and defines my curls greatly. It is not overly greasy. It keeps my hair very moisturized. It does not flake; even after re-applying daily. Cheap Jerdon HL9515N 8-Inch Two-Sided Swivel Oval Halo Lighted Wall Mount

This is a great mirror but a couple things to note. As one reviewer mentioned its not as bright as I would have liked. I mounted it in my bathroom next to my sick so I have the lighting over my vanity which helps when putting on makeup. I made sure I mounted the mirror a little lower then face level so as to not block the light. I have to tilt the mirror slightly to see, but that's all I needed to do for nice illumination. The 2 pack Jerdon replacement bulbs I purchase with the mirror from Amazon are not rated for this mirror. They are 25W and this mirror is only rated for 15W... which is probably why its so dim. When I purchased the mirror I couldn't find any info on the wattage in the product description. I took the chance that the Jerdon bulbs would fit the Jerdon mirror and they don't. Other then that, I really like the mirror. My husband had no problem with the install and it seems very sturdy. I would recommend this mirror if mounted near another light source.

At most this is a 4x mag.. I already have a 3x, 5x and 8x magnification. I have used magnification mirrors since 2000 for up-close sight. I feel this Jerdon HL9515N product should be pulled and relabeled. This was a Christmas gift from my husband.. we are both disappointed and feel let down.

This is the ONLY REVIEW I have ever written and I just wanted to alert Amazon and its' customers. We have purchased many items from Amazon and will continue to do so in the future.

I purchased this online after my Ion Hard Bonnet from Sally's broke (It has the same design as the Belson dryers and it was ridiculously tricky to close. I always thought I was gonna break it and one day I did.) So far I'm happy with this purchase. I'm black with relaxed hair that I deep condition and rollerset every week, so I use bonnet dryers a lot.

What I Like:

It's simple to close.

The bonnet fits my 2 inch gray rollers comfortably. I was surprised because the hood looks so little in pictures.

It has an air vent on top that you can open and close.

It gets hot but it doesn't feel like you're vacationing in the Devil's playland, (like the Ion did.)

I was worried about the air vents only being on top of the dryer BUT there are actually additional vents in the back (where the bonnet meets the neck). So unlike a lot of other hard bonnets, it actually gets the back and the bottom rollers dry.

It's really lightweight.

Things I Don't Love:

The "variable" temp control is actually just low, medium and high. There is no cold.

Also the temp control button came off during my second time using it. It's not that big of a deal b/c it's easy to put it back on.

Needed a new hood dryer after my Conair stopped blowing hot air. I always felt it really wasn't that great anyway. Well was trying to decide between this one and the 125 dollar Pebco on wheels. Decided to take a chance on this one especially with the price. This works absolutely great.

My daughter and I have relaxed hairmine shoulder length, hers longer. This fits 2" and 3" rollers comfortably and takes only 30-40 minutes to dry our hair vs the 1hr PLUS time with the Conair and the hot air is not unbearable. Especially since my DD and I both dislike sitting under a dryer.

It has helped me save money which is why I rated it a 5. It's only the cost of 1 wash and roller set. I could not beat that at all.

I used it only once and was very pleased until.....the cheap setting knob broke. The plastic is basically too weak to change the settings. So if you don't mind resulting to using a pliers to power on and off...its a pretty solid powerful dryer that will get the job done.

Bought this dryer in February 2010. In December 2010, the dryer stopped working. Part of the base of the dryer melted and a hold about the circumference of a pencil developed on the base of the dyer. I used the dryer about once a week for a 45 to 60 minute session. I ran it on high. Maybe that was too much. I have a hair weave and it is important that I get the tracks dry as well as my own hair. This dryer got my hair dry and the tracks dry. Maybe running it on high for an hour is too much. I emailed the Amazon seller for warranty information today. Will see what happens. I will try the dryer again but not run it on high for the entire session, just the first 30 minutes or so. Maybe that will help.

It is built well, however the last one i had just stopped working one day.(I had been using it for less than a year) Nothing on the outside seemed broken, i just turned the knob and it would not turn on. I bought a second one because for the price, its still a great investment. I'll be curious to see if this one lasts longer.
