This is the only in-line desiccant I've purchased, so I cannot compare it to others. At first I was concerned that the threads on each end were plastic, but with Teflon tape, I do not have any leaks. However, if you need to move your hose around, the hose would need strain relief so the force is not directed to the plastic connection. The desiccant changes colors as it absorbs moisture. For me, this happened in about 1/2-day's use.

I'm using this with a variety of air tools to keep moisture out. So far it has seemed to do an excellent job of keeping them dry. I also use one (I bought several) with a plasma cutter because the air into the torch has got to be very, very dry. This works as well as the Miller unit that costs 10 times as much.

Not very experienced with the filters, but this was my first try.

Pros:

Do the job well

Visual indicator is hard to beat

Cons

Dont last very long. They run out within 1 hour of continuous use with my PC compressor and spray paint using HVLP gun

You have to take out the orange "stopcorks" before using them. I didnt know till i got no pressure...then had a hard time getting one out...no instructions to remove them of course didnt help

Water sometime drips on the work surface...should probably have a better mechanism but dont know what other alternatives are out there...i guess i will experiment and learn

the mirror is great and just what I was searching for. let me give future buyers a warning: the screws and wall plugs they send for mounting the mirror are not strong enough to hold mirror when it is extended and will pull out of the wall. Get a couple strong togle bolts for hanging.

When I first purchased this item, I thought it was great. However, with the test of time, it has become a piece of junk. Of course, I was past the time for returning it and the warrany had expired. First the threads on the base of the mirror stripped out. I am quite handy and was able to make a replacement part out of solid brass rod. Then, one of the rivets that are at the joint of the scissors action broke. I ended up using a brass rivet to replace it, but it didn't match the others. Not long after, two more rivets failed. The brass frame around the mirrorbegan to discolor. So, it ended up looking like something from a used junk store, not suited to be in out nice .

Needless to say, the mirror "lives with the fish." A piece of junk.

I couldn't be happier!! I got a $200.00 professional hair dryer for $35.00 and NO tax and NO shipping, that is amazing! I would NEVER spend $200.00 for a hair dryer that is just riduclious, but getting this one for $35.00 was great. I was so excited about it that I've gotten 3 of my friends and my daughter to get one, although the next week when they purchased their's it had gone up $10.00:-( I was thinking that deals like this are worth buying now, to save for Christmas!

Oh as far as preformance, I love the controls they are very easy on the fingers. It's much lighter weight than the one I had previously, and the extra long cord is great. The extra bling that they put on it puts this dryer over the top and I LOVE it!!

My Chi finally blew up so I needed to replace it, and with the price on this 1900 watt positively ionic dryer, I had to give it a try. It's not as heavy duty as my Chi was, but this is a fine dryer for the price. It is not as quiet, and the cord is not as tough, but the unit is lighter in weight and the cord is just as long.

It dries my hair quickly (and that's something to say, as my hair takes "forever" to dry) and the "hot" setting is truly HOT and is great for styling. The edge of the filter has little rhinestones on it, and it comes with a small rhinestone coated keychain in the shape of a hair dryer. While this bling is cute, and probably sells dryers as an impulse buy, but I'm more practical and would rather have saved the extra money that was put into these little blings, but that's just me.

Not a bad dryer--not a professional Chi, but still a nice dryer. Worth the 49 dollars for sure.

I ordered the hairdryer and flat iron combo pack and when the flat iron stopped working 6 weeks after I purchased it, I contacted the seller, who refused to replace it. They did tell me that I could send it back to the manufacturer to have it replaced by them, and when I said that it wouldn't be worth me shipping it to the UK to Babyliss, they said "oh it's actually a Conair product and you would send it to them in the US". So, save yourself money and go to Target and purchase a Conair hair dryer. At least when it breaks, you can easily return it. As for how the dryer works, it's okay, nothing great as I'm sure a true Babyliss would be.

I will NEVER buy a cheap hairdryer again. My hairdresser recommended I make this investment and I am glad I did. My hair is much better behaved and appears silkier and glossier than it did with the cheap dryers. I have very thick, almost straight hair. I wear it in a slightly longer than chin length bob. I can spray this before i use my curling iron or before i use large velcro curlers, and it helps hold the slight bend to my hair. I also like to spray my bangs lightly just so they will not go totally flat and straight or separate. I love the light mist that comes out, rather than big droplets from pump sprays or a blast of spray from some other aerosols.

I first bought this exact same dryer from my beauty supply store (you know those stores, with the high end salon products for pros, including $200 hair dryers) for $40 when they had a sale & I had a coupon. I was so sick of buying dryers from Target or WalMart that would die after less than a year or worked like crap. The guy at the beauty supply store told me this was a good dryer that falls between the nicer stuff at Target and the pro stuff (that just does not make sense for one woman to own...A 2-3lb Baybliss dryer? for $150-$200? No thanks!)The guy at the supply store said "I never get these returned, it's a good dryer, good price,a workhorse for a home hairdryer". He was right.

Now, I am perfectly happy with the way I blow dry my own hair. Even my hair dresser knows this, after she is done cutting my hair she hands me a brush & her pro hairdryer & I do it myself right there. I have used the high end dryers. They are HEAVY. And I am not weak!

So 2 years ago I buy THIS dryer & I LOVE IT! It is light enough to handle easily, decent length cord, 3 heat settings, two air speed settings, cold shot button, all easily accessed with my one hand that is holding the dryer while the other has a brush.

So, I was looking for another for our vacation condo. Beauty supply store this time the price is $60. Nope, too much. So I come to Amazon, find it here, order it. When I received it, it was exactly the same, but! It didn't work! I returned it ASAP for a refund. Well, the seller reached out to me personally, apologized, said it must have been a fluke product (that happens, the world isn't perfect), refunded me the return shipping costs & mailed me out a replacement (he paid for that shipping cost. Received the hair dryer, inspected it next to my current one, it is exactly the same, and it works GREAT!! LOVE IT!

Ladies if you blow dry your hair and are sick of the crappy mainstream dryers, give this one a try. And I really like the way the seller went out of his way to call me & make it right. I am ALL about customer service & will holler from the roof when I get good service & products. I would buy from these folks again

I was skeptical about these after hearing how people were snatching their hair out but I REALLY like them!!! I'm not all that hair savvy and I used these with no problem. If I felt that my hair was too hard to pull through, I'd start over. I had beautiful curls that lasted all day and even the ones that were under my cap stayed. My wet 4b-4c hair came out looking as if I had a relaxer. They are definitely worth a try. Con: They are quite unpleasant to sleep in.

The curlers were very easy to use. The only thing I wish I had to speed the setting process is one of those hair dryers they have at the salon. Using a regular hair dryer takes a while, and sleeping on the curlers isn't too comfortable.

I have LONG, STRAIGHT hair that is hard to hold curl. After using my mother's hot air brush that has a rubber-type barrel and dates back to the early 1990's, I searched EVERYWHERE for one like it because it is perfect for my hair type--long, straight and fine. The closest I came to finding one like my mother's was this one (Helen of Troy 1" Model #1574R). The metal barrels do NOT give my hair ANY body or even any curl. Nothing! But this plastic-type barrel gives me softness OR curl, depending on how long I hold it in place. The rubber-type or plastic-type barrel has proven the absolute best for my type of hair. I bought the 1" at an Ulta store this week and am now on Amazon to buy a 1.5" because my hair is so long on the bottom that I want the smaller one to use on the top and sides of my hair and the larger one to use on the bottom. I highly recommend this product because the barrel is so much more conducive to providing body and/or curl to my very straight, fine, hair!!!

This is a great air brush! Had purchased the Revlon brush for years and then they put air vents on the brush that just blows your hair in all directions. Imposible to style your hair! This hair dryer brush stopped working on the low setting, Tried to use the higher setting, but was too hot. You just have to keep it away from your scalp. I contacted Hair Products to make an exchange. They said they could do that even without the original box it came in. I have since decided not to send it for exchange, because it is better than the ones I have used in the past and don't want to be without it. I have straight, thin hair and this product gives me more body than any other hair product I have used. I like the bristles, because it grabs my hair and holds it for great body and a nice curl.
