I just got this dryer as a replacement for an older Hot Tools Professional Ionic dryer. I relax my hair and use the comb attachment on every dry. This dryer is very light in your hands compared to the old model which is nice. Although it's 1875 watts, it doesn't feel like it gets very hot. My hair too came out pretty frizzy and took a lot longer to dry. I kept wondering if I had it set on low. My hair definitely feels soft, even if it is frizzy. I didn't think it was too loud, but then again, my old dryer is obnoxious so anything sounds better. I do like the 8ft cord and the long prongs on the comb attachment. I'll give this thing one more try but right now, it might be going back to the store.

Why oh why would they place the power switch right where your fingertips curl around the handle? Guess what happens on, off, on off, on off, on off. It's a terrible design.

If I still had the box I would return it and get a different model.

Functionality is fine though it dries my hair so we'll see how long it lasts with the constant restarting.

I have owned this dryer for over a year, and although it is still working I need to get a new one. The dryer is very loud (and that is my primary reason for getting rid of it). I have very thin hair and I use expensive Bumble and Bumble products on my hair and my hair always ends up being frizzy after I dry it with this dryer. It "gets the job done" but my hair is always a tangled mess after I dry it.

Great dryer with excellent attachments (diffuser, etc.). I have very thick, curly hair so dryer is a little slow when I try to dry my hair completely straight. Definitely recommend for diffusing curly hair

I think this is a good blow dryer, of course I had to have the pink color and was very pleased that it had a diffuser attachment which is excellent for creating volume. It heats up properly and to high temperature. I have really thick hair so it takes ages to blow out. This blow dryer may take some getting used to if you're used to the other style where the blowdryer attachment is sideways (See infinity by Conair sd8 if you aren't sure what I'm talking about. Overall this is a really good dryer!

I picked this because I had a similar set at one time that lasted for years and was reliable. I also selected it for the ionic technology.

This product is cheap. The curlers only loosely stay seated in the warmer even when you ensure they are connected properly. The curlers do not heat to a temp that causes real curls to set. The case feels/looks cheap as well.

I am sorry I threw the packaging away before I had a chance to use it now I am unable to return it. I will probably purchase a new / more expensive travel set.

This is the best blow-dryer I have ever owned. I am African-American with coarse natural hair. This blow dryer gets my hair dry very quickly with minimal hair loss. The design is lightweight and easy to hold plus the attachments are perfect. I find the goldish color to be kinda nice in my opinion as well. The price is competitive and it is lasting me a while. I am an African-American woman with hair past my shoulders. I do not have a perm / relaxer yet I am not natural with locks or twists so maintaining a smooth straight style for my beautiful thick, yet coarse hair is a challenge. This blow dryer is just what the doctor ordered. I now only have to bend the bottom with a flat iron for a bump after using this wonderful tool and I'm good to go. The pros are many: It doesn't overheat, yet filters heat evenly and provides a nice shine, it doesn't emanate a "burning hair" smell when you shut it off like my old one, and the fine tooth comb straightens my hair to perfection and as stated, enables only mild flat iron action for curl effect.

I definitely have not had the negative opinion on this dryer as other customers have had. My natural hair has very tightly coiled curls, so a normal dryer without a comb attachment only can do so much. I put the dryer on medium and blow dried my hair in sections, and it dried my hair so fast, and straightened it well! Now, I don't have to deal with the hassle of not being able to comb through my hair easily. My only dislike about the dryer is that it is kind of on the larger side, and I wish the attachments were so big/long, but aside from that, it works well for me, and saves me time and frustration! Plus, you can't be the price!
