As anyone who styles hair knows, bigger is not necessarily better when it comes to styling tools.I use all products on myself before I use them on a client (I do consultations and then the job in-home either at my house or the client's, so everything has to be perfect), and this is honestly better than any other flat-iron I have used.
I have very long thick wavy hair, layered in the front, some fringe, that is extremely difficult to use tools on. The larger irons, no matter how expensive just don't act as they are shown to; but I used this iron with some colour-shield anti-frizz serum and the results were fabulous. I sectioned my hair off and turned the iron to the highest heat, did small bunches at a time.
You can even use this small iron to give slight curl to layers, and probably can add more curl, I just haven't tried it myself and have have a separate tool for curling on clients after straightening.
I would recommend this!

My older sister had this straightener, she recently bought a new one, so she passed this one down to me. It does straighten my hair pretty well, but when I get to the ends it feels as if it's ripping my hair out. It would be even better if it can with a medium heat because low hardly straightens my thick hair, yet high occasionally fries the ends of my hair. But I wouldn't worry about that because although my hair is very thick, it is also EXTREMELY fragile. Other then those small details this is a magnificent straightener. It is very easy to fit in small places yet large enough to get the job done quickly. It's amazing. I would defiantly recommend this straightener to someone looking for a cheap, yet good straightener! I used this hairdryer in a hotel in Los Angeles. Loved it so much I took down the model number and immediately went to track one down for myself. Of course, found it on Amazon...........what don't they have? Great price, but best of all this hairdryer weighs next to nothing. It only has one slider to control it, low, med, high heat, with low heat producing lower air flow, high heat producing highest air flow power, etc. Most hair dryers have separate air force and heat buttons. I actually like this better because I mostly use high heat, full blast, but to each his own. It does not come with those big diffuser attachments, but does have a great directional attachment to better concentrate the airflow in one spot. Average cold shot button. If you are looking for an inexpensive, no frills, light weight hair dryer, this is a great little one.

This drier has been working great for me for the last few months and I'm pretty sure I am using it harder than most. I have it out at the barn with my horse and use it it dry him off after a workout and a bath. This means that while it is only working on short hair, it has a lot of surface area to cover and it holds up the whole time. I chose this revlon dryer for the price just like basically everyone else on here. I was going to give it three stars until I thought to myself "what did I think I would get for so little money?" What I got was a great light weight basic hair dryer. How can I complain about what it doesn't do or have when I wasn't willing to put out another $6 for the retractable cord, diffuser, gel handle, and stronger fan. This little hair dryer is pretty incredible actually and once I stopped being a brat I realized just how well it worked. Did it dry my hair quickly?......... YUP! Was my arm dead tired and soar afterward?...........NOPE! Did the noise wake the neighbors?...........NOPE! Was I able to save a few bucks?.....YUP! And there ya have it. I am buying a new one because after 10 years mine has gone kaput! But 10 awesome years for a $20 hair dryer is amazing.Every houseguest I have who uses this dryer goes and buys one. It isn't heavy, it is powerful and dries my hair quickly.

Aquage is the best stuff for my hair, but it is pretty hard to find in beauty salons, once you like a product, then they tend to get rid of it or you can't find it in the salons like i said previously.

I own three pieces of Swiss Gear (SG) luggage, two SG computer bags, and an SG shoulder bag and love them all. Unfortunately, the travel bag left me less than impressed, and I ended up selling it. Perhaps it is geared more for male users, but I found it lacking in the number/type of organizing pockets I would have expected in a Swiss Gear product--in particular, the outside pockets for shampoo bottles made it bulky and hard to pack in a suitcase. While this is a good product in that it performs as expected, I think similar products are available in drug stores for a fraction of the price. It did leave my hair very soft and protected it from the heat, but my hair felt heavy after use. All in all, would only recommend if the price were halved. Otherwise, just hit your nearest drugstore.

Cheap Hot Tools Black & White Nano Ceramic Ionic Dryer
I really love this hair dryer! I have had a variety of different hair dryers over the years, but Hot Tools is definitely my preferred brand, and this one works wonders. I have shoulder length hair that I dry with a round brush. What I was looking for was a dryer that would be (relatively) quiet, dry quickly, and give me a variety of settings, and I got almost exactly that.
This dryer is stylish and fun, and it dries my hair quickly. My hair is not nearly as static-y with this hair dryer. It's light weight and easy to use. The print doesn't seem like it will rub off, like my last one did, and the settings are clear. The indicator light to show that it's on seems a little silly and useless, unless you couldn't hear that the dryer was on.
Some cons: It's not as quiet as is advertised. When the packaging boasted about how quiet it was, I almost expected something you could use in the same room as a light sleeper without waking them. This might be the case if you have it on low, but I use the high setting, and it's definitely not quiet there. However, even on the high setting, it doesn't shatter your ear drums, so that has to count for something.
It only has two settings high and low. I would have liked a medium setting, since the low is too low to really do anything, but you can probably accomplish anything you need to with medium through small bursts of the dryer on high. It also has a cool setting that could be useful too.
Overall, I am VERY happy with my product. I gave it 5 stars despite its flaws since the pros outweigh the cons, mainly that it dries my hair quickly without causing it to be super static-y. I have used it at home and while traveling, and didn't have a problem with either. Since it's also smaller than my previous dryer, it was easier to pack. I am by no means any type of hair stylist. I have thick wavy hair that becomes frizzy easily. With past blow dryers my hair gets HUGE and puffy. However, I have found my solution! This blow dryer is GREAT. My hair does NOT get frizzy or dry like it has with other blow dryers. I do still run a straightener through it once it is dry, but that is because of personal preference.
