i first found this product locally at a beauty supply store. i had a little trouble with it, as it only fit a certain hairdryer. it would get hot and the plastic pics on it would melt and break off. i've gone through several of these before i couldn't find them any more. i finally found them online, and went through those too. i found them online again, used them and they melted also. this is the only attachment that worked perfect on my long hair. my original one was on a braun hairdryer, which lasted for several years. when i tried to replace that hairdryer, it had been discontinued. when i re-ordered the pic again online, they were discontinued at all the websites that advertised them. i would reorder if anyone had them in stock.

I have very thin fine hair and with out a volumizer pik attached to a hair dryer....forget it. The hair would be blown stick straight and flyaway. With this little unit attached, I can get a beautiful wavy or curly style to stay all day without a perm using a little mousse styling product. This gives me the drying warm air I need but with no wind force blowing out the style.

Gotta have it! I bought several! (it is plastic!) and the prongs can break if it gets dropped.

Does not seems to really do the job of volumizing. Drys my hair but would not recommend it for lifting the hair. Easily falls off the end of the dryer, I have to be extra careful when using it. I'm not sure why no one is making the old style volumizing dryer.
