I've been looking for a high-quality hair dryer that won't take a dent out of my wallet. Saw this item on sale at another site and bought it, which is unusual for me since I like to try before I buy, but I'm glad I bought it (and see that it's cheaper on Amazon). It's not the super-highest quality, but definitely better than my old conair by far, and worth the buck. Strong product, good quality, easy to handle and very lightweight. Has a hinged air intake screen which makes it easy to clean dust and dirt out of the screen. I don't know anything about the negative ions products claim to produce these days, but this definitely leaves my hair softer than my other dryer. Nice colors as well, red and black. It also has a heat setting for synthetic hair if you wear weaves or wigs....pretty cool!

I'm glad I didn't get rid of my old Conair before testing out my new Lava Flo -I went back to the Conair within ten minutes. This was so much slower to dry my fine, wavy hair. It just doesn't have the power I'd expect from a higher-end dryer.
