I have natural hair and it is 4b type hair. I came across this product while surfing for soft and gentle products for my hair to reduce breakage and repair environmental damage. I wasn't sure if this line would work on hair with really tight curls. Since, I was going through a period of trial and error, I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I gave it a shot too! When my hair is wet, it tangles easily. When I use the conditioner, it softens my hair so wonderfully and I can actually run my fingers through my hair without having to use a comb! It's so smooth and creamy and you can feel your hair loving the pampering. I love this stuff and I have noticed less shed and broken hairs when I wash (in addition to my wash/deep condition regimen). This is my new favorite hair cleansing product and I would highly recommend all brands of Kanechom hair Shampoos and Conditioners to anyone working with 4b hair. If this stuff can help make the tightest curls manageable, I know it is is phenomenal on all other types of hair.
Cheap Solano 201/130 hair dryer, 1500 watts.
I learned that using a higher-watt dryer makes my hair look like I dried it while riding on the back of a Harley! So, I was searching for a low-watt hair dryer and found this one. I read a few reviews from other places and believe this product is probably the best one out there for me. It does a really nice job on my hair and the product is built to last forever. I have short hair and use the little attachment to style my hair into place.

Review of Hair Therapy Wrap Cordless Thermal Turban Heat Wrap
I just got done using this for the first time, and, while I like it overall, it definitely is hard to get it to fit to your head and stay in place. It comes with three sets of gel packs that you insert into the hood. Then you microwave the entire thing for about 45 seconds to heat up the gel packs. After placing a disposable shower cap on your head, you place this on top to do your deep conditioning treatments.
As the previous reviewer said, this does an excellent job of retaining heat and it covers your entire head. However, the turban twist that you use to secure it doesn't tighten the wrap at all, so on my (rather large) head, it sort of floated around, without staying tightly in place. I used it to do two twenty-minute treatments and just read on the couch, but any time I got up to walk around, it bobbled and I had to hold it in place.
It still beats sitting in one place under a hard-hat dryer for the same amount of time, though, and for that I give it a good rating. It's portable, easy-to-use, and does a nice job of heating up.
It also comes with two disposable shower caps to get you started with your deep treatments, but the elastic bands weren't tight enough to keep my hair on the top of my head, so I went with another disposable cap that I picked up at my local beauty supply.

The wrap stayed "hot" for about 20 minutes. After that time while it does not add heat it will actually keep the heat for a while longer.
Overall I was very pleased with the purchase. It of course does not have the high amount of heat that a set top dryer but is perfect for deep conditioning treatments and allows you to move around...and will save you some money in the process. Not only is the item a fraction of the cost from a dryer but also does not suck up all the electric and add more noise to your home. I gave it five stars because it does everything they say it should and does everything I ask it to..and my hair looks better after each treatment.
One other thing I am anti-microwave so I heat mine on the stove and the gel packs seem to hold heat pretty long (I am sure much like food --with the microwave it heats up fast and gets cold fast; whereas going the traditional way on the stove it will last much longer). I just put the gel packs into a pot of water after it has come to a boil and then leave in for 5 minutes, drain and then transfer to the cap. I am petrified of rays getting into in my food or my scalp and ultimately my body.
All in all, this is a great product if only they would consider people with larger heads and those with longer thicker hair that is not always flat/fine and easy to be manipulated as others. I can only imagine how this will work if I let my hair grow out below my waist. Worthy buy!

I had purchased this a couple months ago after seeing it featured on a longhair forum where someone mentioned it and then I saw a woman demonstrate using it on youtube. Like everyone says it is very useful it allows for way more mobility than a dryer that is for sure. However being "natural" there is a one misleading aspect of the product and that is that is for all hair types. Ideally yes but realistically no. If you look at all the models they have straight (meaning flat) hair. Now someone could make the case that this can be used on types of natural hair which it can with curly hair that can be flattened easily by this cap, however when you add natural hair with length and considerable thickness that is a different story. To be clear, I have medium sized locs down to the middle of my back and let me assure you this cap does not fit! I have to turn and twist them all of them into an extra large shower cap which you won't get with this product (got some at Sally's) but when you put the spa cap on top of all this hair it barely stays up because it is not big enough. I was a little let down at first BUT I saw a difference in the moisture with my hair and thought well we can/will make it work.....My suggestion (which I am trying as I type) is to fit the cap on your head over the shower cap as tight as it can but then try tying a bandana/large head scarf over the cap! I feel a huge difference, my cap is staying on tight and I can feel the heat even more. I am trying this today for the first time and really like it. The heat doesn't stay a really long time but long enough. For those who talked about it slipping off, I connected the velcro from the side rather than from the back, as the picture shows. That really helped to keep it in place.I have the hair dryer that you have to sit under and this is so much better because it is mobile and I don't have to figure out where to store it.

As others have said here, you need to turn the power setting to the higher setting by turning the "screw" with a screw driver, or coin, or whatever works. For some reason, I could not find this info in the instruction manual. I tried to turn it before even seeing this review, but I didn't want to break it. I thought there must be a way to increase the voltage. It is supposed to be 1,000 watts, so I figured it was either broken or just crap. But after reading these reviews, I went back to the dryer and was able to turn the settings to the higher voltage, which definitely made the difference. t's a small compact dryer that folds even smaller and travels well. The dryer is holding up well in my home.
I have 4 daily users-all with medium to long thick hair.
The dryer makes quick of drying hair. It comes with attachment for styling.
It is very powerful. No real issues with accidental on/off switching while drying hair. The dryer has a 9-ft long thick power cord. No tangling and plenty of length to be mobile while styling hair. There are 2 fan speeds (High,Low) and 3 temp choices (Hot,Warm,Cool) w/ a cold shot button. I would have like to have seen a third choice (med) on fan speeds. The noise factor of the dryer fan is good. Cleaning the air filter is a snap. The dryer stays cool to touch in use. The ionic works. We have really noticed a reduction in static charged hair. Especially now that we are in the winter months and home heating is needed. We highly recommend this dryer. Definitely worth the extra money spent.

I must say that the dryer is indestructible! I can't tell you how many timea it's fallen off my bathroom counter onto my ceramic floor and, other than minor scratches, nothing has happened. The color is also a nice metallic red.

Beware when ordering this item--the red dryer with a 50 month warranty. After ordering this model twice, I was sent one that has a 24 month warranty, worth quite a bit less and a completely different model. I have very dry afro american hair that tangles and mattes when I wash it. After using this product I can detangle and blow dry or roller set my hair with no problems. I was amazed that it really worked for afro hair. It is too expensive but it works so you get what you pay for because no other product can detangle my hair like this. I wash and conditon then towl dry and then spray the ion fixx then style.

I love this product... Wouldn't color my hair or do any chemical process without it... It helps to protect the hair from harsh chemicals of coloring, etc. But beyond that, it actually makes your hair look better after using it. I have dry, frizzy curly hair (by nature)... I purchased this because I felt like my 5x magnifying mirror did not allow me to 'pick' at my face without causing major damage and scarring. (Terrible habit of mine I know!) but I can't be helped, so I thought if the mirror had more magnification and had light I would be kinder to my face. Despite the mirror looking pleasant and everything working as it should, I felt the light was a little too dim and the magnifying mirror was not 7x as claimed. I compared it to my 5x one and the magnification was identical. Love this! This is my 2nd blow dryer in this brand. My first last years! This one is very light, I can hardly tell I am holding a blow dryer. I don't even dread blowing my thick hair dry. I bought this flat iron on eBay, not knowing what to expect. But since it was an andis product, and they generally make salon-quality equipment, I hoped for the best.
What you get with this straightener is super smooth ceramic plates. It also uses infrared heating for less damage to the hair. The plates don't tug on the hair at all, but I prefer the highest heat setting even for my thin blond hair. It doesn't dry out your hair when used with a light heat protectant like Chi Silk Infusion.
Compared to my last flat iron, a Conair Power of Pink ceramic iron, this is a much better quality product. It glides through my hair and straightens it in minutes. The high heat is really nice for straightening but it doesn't dry out your hair of fry it like my old Conair.
This is a good product for the price.

Bought this product after reading many reviews. I was having the keratin treatment done and since that was expensive, I didn't want to also spend another $100+ for an iron. This product a) got multiple good reviews, b) great price, and c) came really quickly. I've had it about a month now and it works great I use it about 3-4 times a week. The only thing that isn't the best about it is that the heat setting buttons are right where you hold the iron so I accidentally increase the heat a few times with each use; as long as you're aware to keep checking the setting, its not a problem at all. I know that these items tend to mysteriously stop working after a short period, I hope that doesn't happen with this product! But so far, so good! I used a Remington Wet to Straight for about 7 years before it finally died one day. I did a lot of research on flat irons before I finally chose this one. There is a lot of good qualities about this product that I like. I like the heat settings, the button placement is fine if you are used to using a flat iron. The price is economical, I like the way it looks. I like that the cord swivels, you can lock it to put it away, and it has an automatic shut off. The only thing I am not all the way happy with is that I have fine hair, my old stand by Remington could straighten any kink. I have naturally wavy hair but when I blow dry it, it's pretty straight already I just use this to shine and sleek it up a bit. I think for someone with naturally curly hair, you're going to have a HARDER time getting your hair nice and smooth and straight. I have days when I roll out of bed, and I just try to smooth the kinks out, and I even up the heat setting to THICK and it still doesn't seem to smooth my hair as much as I would like. And I have FINE hair. I shouldn't have to expose my hair to an even hotter heat setting because I cause enough damage using this 4-5 days a week. I like this product, but I don't LOVE it. I purchased this to use when applying makeup in a closet space with no electricity. It is placed on a shelf at shoulder-level, so I needed a mirror with a short stand. This mirror was inexpensive compared to some of the more elegant, metal mirrors and so I was not surprised that is is a fairly inexpensive, plastic frame. If it were not for the LEDs, I think this would be a product in the $12-15 quality range. But the LEDs cost money, so I think the price I paid of $28 was fair.
The 11" x 8" rectangle seems huge compared to the little 6" round I had been using prior. I love how large the viewing area is. The LEDs are a bright, white light. It is not quite as soft as daylight and not quite as harsh as fluorescent office lighting, but in between those two. I really like it, it works well for me and I am normally in a space with natural, incandescent lighting or daylight all day. The LEDs which span the outline of the frame are a bit distracting at first, it almost has the feel of a light shining right in your eyes. They are bright and you have to get used to not looking at them. I just focus on my face in the center and now I don't notice them as much. If you have sensitive eyes, you would probably want to spend more money for one with more diffused light.
The toggle switch to turn the light on/off is on the back right corner, so you reach up with your right hand and flip it unseen. It is quite easy. They lights are immediately on and bright, no warm-up time required.
The magnification mirror is awesome. It is 3" in diameter and they say 10x. I can't speak to the accuracy of the power because I don't have another mirror to which to compare. It is attached with a sleeve to a metal bar that swivels to the front or back of the mirror. It can move up and down on the bar, so you can adjust it to exact height you want. I only use it once a week or so for plucking, so it is no problem for me to swivel it on its frame to the front to use and then swivel it back afterward so it is not in the way of my viewing area on a daily basis. I really like how it is not permanently mounted to the front of the mirror so that when I don't need it I don't have that distraction in my viewing area.
The base of the frame has an indented area to hold some small items. I use it to place my eye glasses when I apply. The base holds the mirror well, it has never tipped over on me, but it is lightweight. I imagine that if placed at counter height in a high-traffic area it would tip over if bumped. The tilt feature works well, I use it daily and it is easy to tilt and stays in place well.

I once heard someone say that not all mirrors are created equal and I must say that this mirror has a really nice clarity to it and is great quality. it shows everything true to it's image.the reason I didn't give it a 5 out of 5 stars was because the bottom stand is not all that heavy (it's just a light plastic) and it would've been even better if it was a heavier material to weigh down the mirror so it feels sturdier. also the way the mirror tilts up and down is not all that good either. it isn't sturdy the way you tilt it (either higher or lower to accommodate what you desire for the angle). if you tilted it up higher and bump into it a few seconds later (which I have when testing it) it falls back down to the original angle which is down.
OVERALL, I really like it and it serves it purpose and I would reccommend it if you don't mind the little inconviences i wrote about earlier.

Stop your hours upon hours if searching & order this! I did a ridiculous amount of online & offline shopping for a makeup mirror with great lighting & glass that didn't distort. I think I skipped over this one because it looked so different. That it turns out is a GREAT thing! No weird green/yellow/pink toned light for things like office, home or night. Who needs that? We have busy days! Who has time to wash your face & reapply makeup 3 or 4 times a day depending in where you will be? Other mirrors had dim lighting. This produces a bright EVEN light on a large surface that allows you to see your face & hair. It can be tilted to fit many angles & just moving it backwards or forwards then tilting gives you a vast array of positions & angles to choose from. The smaller magnification mirror than can be flipped forward when you need it is GENIUS for eye makeup application & tweezing, or any close up magnified job. When you don't need it, it easily flips to the back out of your way.Now. The lighting. This is a biggie and a possible deal breaker. I can say I suffer from severe migraines & bright or intense light is a big trigger. From the other reviews I was afraid to order this thinking it would cause a migraine & nothing is worth that pain. However, the other reviewers have my eternal thanks for the heads up!! When I switched it on the first time ( very nervously I might add ) I just told myself "don't look at the lights." I didn't. I just focused straight ahead into the mirror which is VERY EASY to do! Keep your line of vision on your face and/or hair and the lights cause zero problems. I saw my first neurologist at 2 years old, thats how long (Im 43 now) and severe my migraines are. If I can use this daily with no problems I really believe anyone can. If you are somebody thats ultra curious and just HAS TO peek this isn't your mirror if you are light sensitive in any way. But truly it is NO BIG DEAL & NOT HARD to look at the mirror straight on. The surface is so big, the light so even & bright, the magnifying mirror brilliantly placed & distortion free once you find your sweet spot, plus the reasonable price add up to a GREAT mirror! I used it daily for over a month without reviewing and it's consistently been great. I love it!!! Oh! Also, it is so lightweight I questioned it's sturdiness but no worries there. Haven't had a problem with tip overs or anything even tho my make up area is in a pretty high traffic area. Hope this helped, and I can save someone else A LOT of time I wasted!

I really like this mirror! I use it daily to do my hair. I think the best feature is that it has a rectangular shape which provides more of a viewing area than the round ones. Wish the actual mirror had a enlarger side and had a heavier base. Tips pretty easily. Otherwise it works fine.

I just got this dryer as a replacement for an older Hot Tools Professional Ionic dryer. I relax my hair and use the comb attachment on every dry. This dryer is very light in your hands compared to the old model which is nice. Although it's 1875 watts, it doesn't feel like it gets very hot. My hair too came out pretty frizzy and took a lot longer to dry. I kept wondering if I had it set on low. My hair definitely feels soft, even if it is frizzy. I didn't think it was too loud, but then again, my old dryer is obnoxious so anything sounds better. I do like the 8ft cord and the long prongs on the comb attachment. I'll give this thing one more try but right now, it might be going back to the store.

Why oh why would they place the power switch right where your fingertips curl around the handle? Guess what happens on, off, on off, on off, on off. It's a terrible design.If I still had the box I would return it and get a different model.
Functionality is fine though it dries my hair so we'll see how long it lasts with the constant restarting.

I have owned this dryer for over a year, and although it is still working I need to get a new one. The dryer is very loud (and that is my primary reason for getting rid of it). I have very thin hair and I use expensive Bumble and Bumble products on my hair and my hair always ends up being frizzy after I dry it with this dryer. It "gets the job done" but my hair is always a tangled mess after I dry it.

the product is good in use. The best thing i like is the cordless function. once charged it can be used without cord which gives it a tremendous maneuverability. you can trim your back hair on your head too (which i do) and pretty much anywhere. The dual voltage function was the primary reason i purchased this however, i haven't been able to use it till now. the cutting is smooth and gives nice outlook.

Cons:
Make sure you clean and oil blades after each use or the blades will get hot enough to hurt sensitive skin.
After about 3 months of use, they stopped working, just died, in the middle of use. I disassembled them and found a wire to the motor had broken at the power switch. The unit has NO strain relief for the internal wiring and this allows the wires to vibrate enough to eventually break at their solder joints. Resoldered, applied some silicon goop for strain relief and we were good to go again.

cordless is the way to go. no tangled cords to deal with or knots and the cord knocking stuff over in my tiny bathroom. it does take some thinking ahead though, such as charging it ahead of time before you start cutting. it can heat up but that only really matters if you are cutting the hair of multiple people. i am satisfied with the purchase.

Purchased this dryer after my first Infinity finally burned out after about 8 years of use. Love how this dryer keeps your hair smoother and prevents frizzy dryness. I have very thin, very fine hair and have found that the new style of blow dryers with ionic technology do nothing for my hair except to make it depressingly limp and flat. For this reason I looked everywhere for a blow dryer without ionic technology with no success, until I came across this product. Yes, this dryer does have ionic technology. However, it also has something none of the other dryers I looked at have...an on/off switch for said technology. Finally! That said, the dryer is a bit heavier than I like, but I am smaller than average, so what may feel heavier to me may be unnoticeable to the next person. Also, this dryer doesn't get as hot as other dryers I have used in the past, even on high. This is probably better anyway for my hair type but may not be acceptable for someone with thick hair as it will obviously take longer to dry. The cool shot button is great and provides a nice, cool air flow even with the dryer set on high heat. The cord is of average length, about 6 ft., so if you prefer/need a longer cord you may want to look elsewhere.
