My first one was great as far a getting my hair dry quick, so when it quit heating up I quickly ordered a new one. (It lasted about a year) The second one was a refurbished model and I have only had it a few months. Now the switch quit working that put's it on high power. If I mash on it I can get it to kind of work. As much as this hair dryer costs I would have thought I would not have a problem. Nope. I won't be buying aonther one.

Bad right out of the box. Turned on the dryer, the motor made a horrible noise and started to smoke. Was afraid to replace it with another.

Powerful motor and excellent air output for drying thick hair. Unfortunately I dropped it one day, a screw fell out and it appeared the motor was loose inside. It then ran with a high-pitched noise and lasted about a week more after that. I ordered an identical dryer from a different store, and it arrived having the same high-pitched noise and loose motor. I love the powerful motor, but I wonder if there is some weakness in the design.
