I blow dry my hair every day and usually go through a blow dryer once a year. Eventually they start smoking and burn out. A friend had this blow dryer, and although more expensive than the usual ones I've bought, I figured if it lasted longer then it was worth the money. It's super strong and blow dries my hair in no time! My very curly hair comes out straight, smooth and shiny. I've had it for almost a year and it's been fine so far.

This is the only hair dryer that I have used since I purchased it. It has a powerful motor, which means you get a very forceful air current. It pretty quiet, and this dryer can put out ALOT of heat, so sometimes I find myself turning the heat setting down or moving it further from my head because it can get uncomfortably warm. The first one I had lasted over three years, and would have lasted longer if I had been a little less clumsy with it. To be honest, the only real drawbacks that I find with this dryer is that it's a little heavier than a cheaper hair dryer, and a little more expensive, but very worth it.

I asked my hair stylist where did she get her hair dryer from and she told me that hers cost too much. Then she suggested that i get this Conair Pro Silver Bird.. WELL this is the best dryer that i have ever had.. I am African American and my hair is soft, curly and shoulder length but my daughters hair is longer and thicker than mine and this dryer is perfect for both off us. Dries quickly and comes with an attachment comb.

I got this product last may (2011) and so far it has been wonderful. I am African American, and I have natural hair...my hair is a bit hard to handle when wet but this dry cuts my drying time in 1/2!!!!! I wash my hair all the time.....my friend she loves using it she requested one for her graduation present..... The only neg. is that the comb attachment falls off sometimes, but that's nothing a little tape cant fix.....I would tell everyone to get one of these!
