I received this as a gift from my mother. Since this product advertises itself as being a "salon" blow dryer that dries hair 40% faster, she assumed that it would be powerful, at least 1875 watts. Nope, wrong this is 1600 watts. It is not very powerful. It doesn't dry my hair that quickly. If I had fine or thin hair this would be excellent. It is very lightweight and quiet. However, I have very thick wavy hair and this simply is not a strong enough device.

Ehh. If i could go back and buy a new drier, it would not be this one. It does not dry "40% faster", it's not even your standard 1875 watts.It works, has solid construction and is cute because of the pink color but if you want a drier that actually dries your hair fast, look elsewhere.
