I cannot believe I wasted almost $27.00 on this. It does not close tightly around your hair. I have thick hair and it should hold that. Not this thing. I have purchased cheap ones for $9.00 and gotten better results, It does not get as hot as they claim it does. I could not find a place to contact the seller or I would have. I used it once, for 3 minutes, and shoved it back into the box. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This is a great curling iron. It heats up quickly and curls seem to hold better.
There are two issues that I've seen with this. First, where the on/off buttons are located I keep turning off the power while curling my hair. I have to keep checking it. Second, the cord is getting really twisted.

Don't use a curling iron often but had needed one for awhile...should have held off. The on / off switch is on the front of the handle and unless I focus intently on not hitting it I end up switching the curling iron off when I'm using it.

Works great, but two issues. One, the button placement means that you keep pressing the on/off button while you're curling your hair. The good thing is that you do realize when you press it so you can just check to see if it's still on. The second issue is that it doesn't come with a plastic cover like my other one did. This is a pain when traveling because you have to wait for it to cool before packing it.

This curling iron broke after only one use. Extremely frustrating since I had a client in my chair. Andis has gone down hill, they used to sell quality products.
