I have frizzy half wavy/half straight hair that seems to be getting curlier every year. And I have LOTS of it. I've never used a diffuser and I've always either just scrunched my hair with my hands or blown it dry straight. Learned how to use a diffuser so I thought I would give it a try since my hair seems to be getting curlier every year. (I had straight hair until puberty and then sections of it starting getting wavy on me.)

First, this fits the Featherweight 2 perfectly. I originally had a hard time finding this because I didn't want to pay S/H and Amazon didn't sell this item until recently. Beauty stores only seem to carry the SoftTouch Diffuser (not the SoftTouch 2) and they will try to tell you that the SoftTouch will fit all T3 dryers. Don't listen to them. They don't know that the SoftTouch 2 is available.

I've used this twice now, and it gives me BIG hair. I have a lot of hair and it's frizzy so the last thing I need is BIG hair. It does seem to encourage the curl towards the back fo my head where my hair is curliest, but my hair gets so big that I end up just flattening it down or tying it up. Maybe one day I'll have time to really spend a lot of time and try to work with this, but otherwise, I'm not really happy with the end result after I dry my hair.

I really like the Luxe dryer, but this is the wrong diffuser for such dryer. Note that the end attachment doesn't fit. So I had to return it.

I like this product. It allows for quick drying time even though you are diffusing. My hair looks great when I use it.
