A friend of mine told me about using a micro-fiber towel to dry hair faster with less frizz and breakage. I love the easy button clasp feature. I wrap my hair as soon as I get out of the shower and the turban absorbs all the moisture so I don't spend forever blow drying my hair with damaging heat. I selected this product because of a recommendation in a magazine to which I subscribe.
First, I admit I should have paid more attention to the person here in Amazon who complained that the product was too loud. That person is right. On the HIGH setting, the product is very loud and shrill. To avoid harm to my ears, I always use the lower setting.
Secondly, it's big and heavy. I have to use two hands to hold the wand and dry my long hair.
I only find one of the attachments useful. There are two other attachments, but I never switch to either of them.
On a more positive note, it does dry my hair quickly. Also, if I use it like I would a curling iron, (i.e., roll a strand of hair around the brush and hold it there for a few seconds, then unroll it), it gives my hair a gentle curl and nice body.
Bottom line, I find myself going back to my old blow-dryer-and-separate-round-brush method about 50% of the time. If I had to do it over again, I don't think I'd buy this product.

I bought this product at Target and read Amazon reviews after, and was really scared to open and try it based on reviews saying it's too loud. I'm really sensitive to loud noises and was afraid I would hate it. This awesome styling brush is quieter than the blow dryer I reaplaced, and a MUCH better and faster styling tool. Please do not be put off by the reports of how loud it is! Maybe they've improved the product recently, I don't know, but even on high it's quieter than my last blow dryer. I used this for the first time today, and it's going back! It was the loudest hair appliance I've ever used! It actually hurt my ears on the highest setting. It HAS to be dangerous for your hearing using it right next to your ears. I definitely DO NOT recommend this product.

I love this brush. My hair is medium thick texture and very long right above my buttocks. My hair takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to blow dry and flat iron with my old blow dryer and round brush. What's so amazing about this brush is the ceramic white part works as a flat iron. It took me literally 30 minutes to dry my hair. In addition, I used a very good blow dryer the Rusk Speed Freak Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Hair Dryer 2000 watts. The large brush 3-3/4 grabbed large amounts of hair and was still able to glide smoothly and dry quickly. Results were no frizz, no dry desert look, it was very shiny, healthy looking and stayed straight all day even in the high humidity. Do I recommend this brush absolutely. If you decide to purchase the brush and the blow dryer remember to add enough thermal heat protection to your hair and moroccan oil (this is good to practice all the time regardless of any type of hair dryer).

Ten years ago (2003), my stylist used this amazing very large brush (3 3/4") to smooth & straighten my thick & very wavy hair. I have struggled to achieve that smooth, shiny, straight (but not the limp "flat-head") look which you only get from a salon. Since the 6th grade I have owned/used a succession of Conair dryers, replacing them when they inevitably die after 3-4 years. This is the first time I have used an ionic dryer-I actually just wanted another "regular" dryer but I found out they're not as easy to find now (yet another sign I am behind the times). I've used this dryer for a month now and it's great! Before, I used the fastest setting along with the hottest setting, but with this dryer I use "medium" and it STILL dries my hair faster (btw, I have long, very straight hair). Also, my hair is a bit smoother & softer than with the old dryer--not enough for someone else to notice--but I noticed it from the first use. P.S. I originally got the Conair #174TB Ionic Ceramic Hair Dryer model (2.8 lb), but it was too heavy. If this is a concern for you, compare weights. This model (199D) is 2.15 lb--what a difference!

My mom bought this dryer for herself about 5 or more years ago, and like every good daughter I stole it from her b/c I love it so much. I have used now nearly everyday for year and love it. I will say that I am not one to spend a lot on hair dryers so I have never owned anything that was super expensive, to compare it to on a daily basis, but I do have friends that have super expensive styling products, and I end up bringing my own dryer instead of taking forever to use theirs. In the mean time I have used other dryers in hotels, at friends, etc., but those even with the same wattage do no compare when it comes to air flow. The heat settings are perfect too, but what I really love is the amount of air flow. In search of the perfect dryer. While I don't know if one exists, this comes pretty darn close. It smooths my hair, keeps down the frizz and dries in no time flat. The air flow is incredible. I've tried other "turbo" dryers and they don't even come close. Love the fact that it has 3 heat settings. I usually use the middle and lowest one as the top gets really hot. Adjustable air flow on the back of the body is really cool too. If you don't want it to blow your hair around too much, just switch it back to normal air flow. I always use it on Max Air flow. Love it. I've been searching for this ever since my first one died on me. Bought 4 others since. They have been given away since I found this on Amazon. I ordered two just to be safe. Great dryer. You won't be disappointed. Oh and btw, I have long hair which takes a long time to dry. This cuts it into half the time. That's worth its weight in gold anyday.

We recently stayed at the Westin Resort and Spa in Savannah, and they had this type mirror in their baths. My wife had to have one, or one like it, so, the Jerdon First Class 7X seemed to fill the bill.
After receiving the mirror and installing it on the wall (5 minutes), my wife liked it better than the one at Westin.
If you are boomers like we are, you really need one of these mirrors.
After a certain age you have additional hair growth on your face, ears, and nose that you did not have before. This mirror really exposes your new flaws. If you don't care about this new growth, or don't want to know don't buy this mirror. However, your friends and family will notice, and probably won't tell you.

As a side note, when installing a wall mirror, you should either screw it straight into a stud, or buy some serious wall anchors. By design, you're going to be moving and pulling on this thing a lot, and you need to have a good, firm attachment to the wall. Always throw away the little plastic anchors that ship with any product like this, they are useless and are guaranteed to fail, sooner if not later.

Each swivel point has a screw slot on the underneath side, so you can tighten them if you ever need to, and you won't have to worry about the rods sagging over time. (The hotel mirror didn't have this type of adjustment and there was a lot of slop in the joints). I can't say how the finish will hold up over time since I've just gotten in it, but I am hopeful I won't have any issues. Even if I do, this mirror was inexpensive enough that I wouldn't hesistate to replace it.
Installation is a snap. There is a base plate you mount to the wall (a stud is preferred if you have one available). You then mount the mirror on top of the base plate and tighten down the screws you see on the left and right in the picture.
This mirror is really a must have for any bathroom! I can't believe I've gone so long without this simply luxury!

I recently bought two wall mirrors, this swing-out unit, and a more expensive scissors-arm unit. The more expensive (about $110) unit is sturdy, hefty, and appears to be solid cast brass. This unit is lightweight, with thin, hollow tubes and a hollow stamped base. It doesn't look cheap, but it doesn't look or feel like a high-end item either. Like most of the others, I realized this type of wall-mount mirror is a must-have after a stay in an upscale hotel. In the hotel, the mirror was mounted eye-level next to the the sink. The vanity lighting was adequate to illuminate my face, so there is no need for the lighted mirrors. It makes tweezing much less of a chore since you don't have to bend over or hold a mirror, and I've never applied mascara and eyeliner so beautifully before! Another added benefit is that you can swivel the mirror and use it in conjunction with your large bathroom mirror to see all angles of your face and rear which is great for checking your hair and how your clothes are fitting! Works well and perfect for what I need. I basically use it for deep conditioning treatments and wrap styles. The design is a little flimsy, however. When I close the unit to put it away and try to carry it by the handle at the top, it sometimes opens back up.

I've been using this for a while as a pre-blow dry serum. It seems to do a nice job in terms of reducing frizz and keeping my hair from getting dried out. However, if you put too much near the crown of the head, your hair will end up greasy and oily looking on top so just use caution in that area.I'm not unhappy with this product, but I may shop around a little before purchasing again.

I normallly have frizz! Even though I moisturize, moisturize, moisturize, I tend to have frizz. I have tried other foaming wraps, and the hold has been great, but the frizziness of my hair always breaks through. Not so with this stuff! I really like this, and will continue to use it. I used this for a rollerset and my hair came out shiny, beautiful, and full of life! I am able to maintain a rollerset for 4-5 days by applying pin curls each night.
