I have very thick curly medium length hair. I like to wash it in the morning, but I never had enough time-even using a diffuser caused some frizzing. Now I just wash, put in product and sit under the dryer for about 15 minutes and voila! Dry hair, no frizz! The dryer lives in a corner of my room, and then I just roll it out to wherever I want to use it. Worth every penny.

No Medium setting. You either get low/cool, low/hot or high/hot. Could use a medium/hot in my opinion.
Durability of the heavy hood mounting on the base (plastic to plastic) is in question over long term use.
No air holes in the front part of the hood. Some people might prefer this, but not me.
Built in 'air flow diffuser' basically does nothing.
The top part of the dryer where your head snugs up to it is more flat than round (like on most dryers) So it doesn't form fit to your head as well...I don't like this. Minor gripe, though.
Extra comment: They don't make hard hat/bonnet dryers like they use to, that's for sure. This one is more expensive and made better than the Wal-mart type, but still has a cheesiness about it. Definitely don't pay more than $99 for this model. I'd say it's worth about $80, tops!

Pleased with my purchase. Fast delivery and the box was well padded so everything was delivered in great shape.Edit 7/16/2010: I have now had this product for several months. Works amazing! I tend to just wrap my hair when Im under there so my head fit fine. There's not a lot of space for roller setting. Three heat settings. I prefer high, takes me about 45 min to an hour to completely dry my hair. Machine is loud, so I use it in the spare bedroom. You can't hear ANYTHING when you are under the dryer--so forget about watching the TV.

I just received my hair dryer 4 days ago and I have used it twice on my medium-long relaxed hair1. There is enough room for 2 inch rollers to fit comfortable and it takes about 45 mins-1 hour to dry hair
2. The noise level is similar to the ones you use in the hair salon so I agree with another reviewer who said you can forget watching TV
3. It was easyto set up
4. The delivery box is a bit large and hard to manage but overall the box is not too heavy to lift
