These accessories are the real deal for the Vidal Sassoon (VS783) hair dryer I have. I looked high and low for these, even on the Helen of Troy web site. I also bought another brand hair dryer accessory product from Amazon that looked like it would work and it was cheaper;it doesn't work. These are the same exact accessories that originally came with the dryer. Will be ordering another pack since it was so hard to find anywhere else! I only gave it 3 stars because the attachments break too easily on my hair and I only use one of the attachments. So, I have to order the whole package just for that one accessory. Also, could be cheaper.

I had been searching for dryer combs to fit my vs540 dryer. I was a little concerned about reviews that stated that the combs didn't fit. I was pleasantly surprised that the combs fit perfectly and now I don't have to buy another dryer because I can't find the combs to fit my dryer. It is a good dryer and I have had it for many years.

I purchased the Vidal Sassoon IONIC hair dryer Model # 783/1875 Watts about 4 yeas ago and I only used the 2 comb attachments. Which just broke/wore out in the past 3 months (Feb./March/April 2012. This is the only type of hair dryer I am able to use since I have really long hair that is extremely curly and this is the only type of dryer that will straighten it out...the brush attachment just does nothing...it doesn't even go through my hair.

When the first tooth broke out of the Detangling attachment I started looking around for replacements which was in about December 2011. I found that the dryer is made by the Helen of Troy Company so I e-mailed them...they wanted $4.00 a piece an attachment plus $2.00 each shipping so I decided to look around for a better deal and found them here. Since I requested the prices from Helen of Troy they also told me what attachments would fit and they were the above attachments...so I purchased 2 sets right away. They are completely identical to the three that came with the dryer! The only problem I have with them is that they are difficult to remove and attach but that is no big problem for me since I just leave the comb attachment on it all the time until one brakes then I just change it out. They are not the best quality but it's all you can get! You don't have any choice and I figured they are the exact same as the ones that came with the dryer so what the heck...that is why I bought 2 sets so I will have them when they break and I also figure by the time I go through 2 more sets I will be in need of a new dryer any way!

I am very happy with my purchase...these attachments are just what I needed and you would not believe the shipping....it was the fastest I have ever had from any order that I have ever places...even orders that were supposed to be here over night!! I placed my order late on May 2 and I received it in the morning mail on May 5!! It was scheduled to be here between May 8 and May 11!!!! I could not believe my order got here so fast! I placed 2 orders that day from another source and as of today, May 6, it is not here!!
