I've been a hairdresser for about 15 years, and this is by far the best, most powerful hairdryer I've owned. My coworker does beautiful blowouts using a large boar bristle brush and the focus attachment included with the dryer. I was sticker shocked at first, but it is well worth the price.

My hair dresser told me to stop buying cheap drug store hair dryers because they were damaging my hair and making it frizzy. She suggested this brand and model. I found this vendor had the best price around and the item arrived about three days after I ordered it which was great and unexpected too. Anyway, it really dries my hair quickly and leaves it shiny and frizz free. Overall I am very happy with the product and the vendor as well.

I have a very old Conair Prostyle 1600 my favorite hand held dryer, and after over 10 years, it's been on its way out. I've tryed various dryers, but none of them have the great feel of my old Conair. I just recently ordered the Conair Yellowbird 1875...thought it would be great looked just like my old one, only yellow. I tried it once and sent it back. It was too heavy..unlike the Conair 1600, which was oh so light...and surprisingly didn't have the blow power I expected. So I read one review on the Andis Pro Style 1600 and it sounded good. I tried it this morning and it's perfect very light...and so small, I couldn't believe it. I travel on business and have not found a travel dryer I'm happy with, so I'm going to order another of these for a travel dryer.

If your home is like ours and you have trouble with tripping the circuit breaker because of your hair dryer, this is the one for you. Our electrican said not to go any higher than 1600 watts. Finding a dryer in this wattage is hard enough, but most of the brands you do find, are... well, they are whimpy! Not this one. Good air power easy adjustment between hot and cool air and you can't beat the price.

Cheap Cricket Centrix 5000 Dryer

I recently purchased this hairdyer and a Babyblis 2000 to complare the two, the Cricket Centrix 5000 does not have 1/2 the amount of airflow, and power of the Babyblis. It takes twice the amount of time to dry my hair. I can't wait to return it!!!

I don't usually pay attention to the designation "professional" on products because it's usually bull. But this hair dryer is the real deal. Extremely powerful and hot, with lower settings that remind me of a normal hair dryer. I cut my drying time by 40% and was finally able to replicate the style my hair dresser creates.

The ad says, powerful but quiet, and that may be true if you compare it to a loud, weak dryer. It's not exceptionally quiet or exceptionally loud, about what you'd expect to find at any salon.

Think of it as an investiment, great hair dryer that saves you time and won't crap out after 6 months.

I ordered these to fit my 1600 watt Vidal Sassoon dryer. I have two of them, and had lost the wide tooth comb attachment for the older one that I carry when traveling. It is labeled "1600" but these combs did not fit. These combs are curved and fit my newer hair dryer..not the one which I needed the new attachments for. I will keep them, as eventually I will need them for the newer dryer, but I will have to order again, trying to get the right ones, with a straight back. One other issue...these are sharp as pins, I will have to try to smooth them out before using them, by smoothing each tooth separately with a fine nail file. It's a pain in the rear to have to do it, but I've done it before with these combs.

I bought this after reading another reviewer say it cut the time she needed to spend under the dryer drying her roller set in half. I have a professional belvedere that normally takes 1 hr 45 minutes to dry my roller set. This dried my hair in 1hr 5 minutes. The hottest setting was too hot for me, and I was worried that 1000 watts wouldn't be hot enough! I did need to put socks over my ears, because the dryer is so hot and if I could stand the hottest setting my hair would probably dry in 45 minutes.

I've used it 3-4 times now and it dries quite quickly. I have hair; locs down the middle of my back and I like that the bonnet is large so that my entire head dries. I tend to either braid or curl my locs and it takes forever to dry them when I set them. But I can sit under this dryer for an huor or less and my hair is fully dry. I did not give a 5 because one of the casters arrived broken. I haven't had time to make a claim with the company and I probably won't because it's such a pain in the neck. I just chose not to insert the wheels.

I got this a while ago and did not open to use it until months later, cause I need to finish my old bottle. Anyway, whatever inside was some unknown stuffs and caused damage to my hair, I did not pay attention until after couple uses. I asked the company for refund and they refused! Now the whole thing went to trash and waisted all the money. Will never buy again for these items! So my advise, Do Not Buy from here!

i've always purchased yuko products from my salon but thought i would take a chance on amazon for a cheaper price. my shipment arrived today and the treatment was open and flooded all over the box coating my other item as well. normally yuko products are cellophane wrapped (the shampoo in the same box was) so why was this "new" product not wrapped? how do i know that this was even the correct product and not filled with something else? i did reorder a replacement with a refund from amazon for the damaged product but I am tempted to take it to my salon to compare with what my stylist is using to be sure it is the right stuff.

It is actually a lot heavier (and more solid metal) than I was expecting. The bottom is completely coated in a black rubberized material, so it does not slide around on the counter (granite). It keeps the hair dryer upright and out of the way and it looks good too because of the chrome finish and black bottom. It is a good product that I would definitely recommend.
