This tool is really a great value considering how much I use it (every day). There are several advantages to this product. It leaves your hands free to use a brush or more than one tool. I also apply make-up while drying my hair and brush my teeth and other things so it cuts down on your preparation time and allows you to multi-task.

One thing about this product is that I automatically put the hair dryer on backwards thinking it went that way, so be sure to look at the picture in the directions to make sure you have the hair dryer sitting in the stand properly. I have found the hair dryer stand to be very stable, but at first when I had it the wrong direction it wasn't quite holding up the dryer. Some of the other comments on stability in the reviews might have put the hair dryer on backwards too.

It just seemed like it should go the other direction.. wrong! I totally recommend this product. Stable, good quality and very useful, plus great price for something that really saves me time, which like most of us I have very little of. I bought a second one for a friend who really loves it too.

After locating the very tiny spaces for the very tiny screws to assemble this I found that the clamp and velcro used to hold a hairdryer weren't adequate to keep mine from falling out of it.

This product is meeting my needs nicely. I have a really heavy hair dryer and it holds it up pretty well. It has taken a couple of dips on the goose neck, but holds steady for the most part. The base is heavy, so it has never tipped. It is an extremely useful device. The directions for assembly were a little confusing and the screw holes did not match perfectly but, once assembled, it is certainly satisfactory.

I've been blow drying my hair straight for years. My hair is very thick, so it takes quite a while to dry and, it has to be completely dry, so I can hot roll it. This stand has made life easier. It holds the hair dryer, so I can flip upside down and more easily get to the thickest part of my hair that I sometimes missed completely drying before. It also frees my hands, so I can work the brush closer to the scalp and more precisely to get a straighter look. The snaking top is not the sturdiest, but it does hold my heavy dryer fairly well. I put a second velcro on the top (from the similar stand I had before) to more securely attach my dryer to the stand.

This hair dryer holder/stand has been perfect for me to use as I am grooming my two dogs. I can bend the holder arm so that the air goes exactly where I need it and it leaves me hands free to brush out the wet dog. They sell similar equipment for grooming purposes, but the professional pet dryer is very expensive even in my wholesale pet grooming supply books. This works and is a fraction of the price.

The product itself doesn't feel flimsy at all, but it's not really that light. I wouldn't call it "heavy" but it's not a blow dryer you want to hold for a very long time or carry around for traveling. In terms of quality, the product doesn't disappoint. Most of all, I love the straightener that it came with. It's small and easy to carry around in a medium size bag, good for traveling.

I get a lot of compliments on the sparkly pattern of the tinsel. However, I prefer to knot the tinsel into my hair instead of gluing so it last longer through showering and styling. To do this, you need the tinsel to be twice your hair length (becomes a double strand) so this length is not ideal. I have tied two strands together to accommodate, but I prefer tinsel that comes on a wheel like thread so you can cut it to your own length.

I ordered this hair dryer for myself after several high-end hair dryers died out only a few months after purchase. I've had this hair dryer a few months and it's still working great. There's a warm-hot temperature switch, a cold air button, a low-high blower switch, and an ion switch. It came with two attachments that fit snug on the end of the hair dryer so they won't fall off mid-dry. It also came with a free sample of a Chi hair product. It's the perfect weight, not too loud, and it dries my hair fast (I have frizzy, curly hair. It also tamed a lot of the frizz). I payed around $60 for it, even though it retails at $130. It's an amazing steal and the shipping was fast. I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could.

I previously owned the larger professional Chi dryer (red with diffuser attachment). That one was over $140 and lasted a long time but when it quit, I was looking for a cheaper alternative. The ion setting is awesome and in some ways dries curly or course hair better than the more expensive one, but I do miss how quiet the other model was. But for price this was a great investment.

I used to EMF meter to test this dryer and it pegged the EMF meter at well over 100 milligauss.

There is absolutely nothing low about the EMF from this dryer.

Obviously "low EMF" is not regulated and they are sticking it in the description to get a few more sales. I was worried because they didn't give an EMF level. Now I know why.
