The product itself doesn't feel flimsy at all, but it's not really that light. I wouldn't call it "heavy" but it's not a blow dryer you want to hold for a very long time or carry around for traveling. In terms of quality, the product doesn't disappoint. Most of all, I love the straightener that it came with. It's small and easy to carry around in a medium size bag, good for traveling.
